My wife saw Mr Ajis as she had become unable to walk due to the build up of significant scar tissue from a former achilles injury a few years ago. He gave her an informed and honest list of the options available. He did not immediately insist on surgery, although my wife opted for surgery despite it being the most expensive option.
The operation was carried out to fit in with our plans, and at a price which we thought was reasonable. After 6 weeks she was able to remove the post-operative boot she had been told to wear. The outcome was better than we had possibly hoped for, and she is now able to walk again, entirely pain free and normally, something which she has not been able to do for a very long time.
Throughout the entire process Mr Ajis and his secretary were excellent. We would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone needing treatment.

I initially saw Mr Ajis for a broken toe, but on the x-ray he spotted Haglunds Deformity in one foot - this was a revelation, it explained why any time I tried serious marathon training I just ended up with excruciating Achilles pain after a few weeks. Mr Ajis explained how an operation performed with keyhole surgery could remove the extra bit of bone that was aggravating the Achilles. I opted to go ahead, after all the risks were clearly explained by Mr Ajis. The operation was carried out at the Nuffield in Woodingdean under general anaesthesia, the first time I had been under. When I came round, I was given details of how the operation had gone, kept in for a few hours while I was observed and then discharged. Following discharge I had very little pain - I didn't even need to take ibuprofen. I was able to move on crutches the same day and after a couple of days could do without them. Follow up appointments confirmed that the operation had been successful and I am now looking forward to a full recovery (I know it will take time to get back to running competetively). I'd definitely recommend Mr Ajis - throughout the process he has given clear information and the operation couldn't have been smoother.

After several years of increasing pain in my left ankle due to arthritis I was offered a replacement ankle by Mr Ajis. The operation took place just over two years ago and was a great success. I cannot fault any part of my care in hospital and the follow up treatment by Mr Ajis and his team. I am now walking completely pain free and it has opened up my life again. I cannot thank Mr Ajis and his team enough.

Mr Ajis was honest and considerate about my prospects when I first came to see him after a year of being sent to differences services. His careful, considered approach gave me reason to believe I was in safe hands and that more was being done to improve my welfare. His confidence gave me confidence on the day of the operation and thereafter, going from feeling incredibly concerned about my lack of mobility at just twenty-five to almost skipping in to see him just twelve weeks after the procedure. I feel a tremendous sense of gratitude toward Mr Ajis who assisted in navigating me through a difficult period in my life and leaving me with hope for the furry. I consider him a complete professional and credit to his profession.

I had surgery on my right foot in May, spent 6 weeks wearing a huge "boot" and mostly sitting with my foot elevated. The dressing was removed after 2 weeks - and my new foot emerged. The results were amazing. The old twisted, lumpy foot had disappeared and I now can display straight toes and a straight big toe joint. I am really delighted with the result.
Mr. Ajis explained all stages clearly and I felt confidence in his skill from the first appointment.

I saw Mr Ajis as an NHS patient at Worthing Hospital, following years of painful osteoarthritis in both ankles. He explained the options of fusion or ankle replacement and agreed to replace my left ankle with a new procedure, which allows a custom made prosthesis (made using data from CT scan). On the day of the operation, at St Richards Hospital, he met me before and after surgery.
Having worked for 40 years in the NHS as a nurse, I was impressed by the pre and post operative care given by the hospital. In particular I was impressed by the quality of the surgery, which has found me pain free in the left ankle, with no post operative complications and a neat scar. In an appointment with Mr Ajis 3 months post operatively he agreed to go ahead with replacement of the painful right ankle and I was able to thank him for his high quality work. I am so pleased that he will operate on the other ankle and can look forward, with confidence, to the benefits of having both replacements completed.

For years I have suffered from arthritis in my left ankle due to an old injury, which was repaired by inserting metal plates. Over the years they became lose, so earlier this year Mr Ajis removed them, revealing no Cartilage. So only 4 weeks ago he inserted a complete ankle replacement.
With his excellent attention to detail and advice, I’m already aid free and pain free in 4 weeks instead of the usual 6 to 8.
I thoroughly recommend Mr Ajis to anyone thinking of having any procedure! I’m proof of his amazing ability.

I saw Mr Ajis with pain in my foot and difficulty walking. A scan revealed a partially ruptured Achilles’ tendon with a hole in it. Mr Amis explained in detail the surgery needed and that I would be firstly in plaster followed by a boot. Some five months later I can walk with no pain and hope shortly to return to playing tennis. Mr Amis was kind and caring throughout and am delighted with the result. I am very grateful and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Just to say I could not have had better care. From start to finish Mr Ajis took time to explain the procedure and recovery as well as ensuring I was kept up to date. His attitude and manner have been exceptional and I am so grateful for his skill

I met Mr Ajis at his clinic in Goring Hall. He performed surgery on my left foot, removing an extra navicular bone, shaving the navicular bone down and re-attaching the tendon.
Mr Ajis has fantastic attention to detail and organisation. He answered every question I had regarding the procedure and really looked after me all through my recovery. He made me very relaxed all the way through this process and took the worry away from me. His kindness is second to none. He is never to busy to help.
Mr Ajis’s medical secretary, Sandra, was also amazingly kind. I was able to contact Sandra with ease and found her very helpful with any queries I had.
The overall experience including the surgery, the post op care, physio and consultations was very stress free for me and that is thanks to Mr Ajis and his team.

Adam recently carried out key hole surgery on my ankle and I was super impressed with his workmanship. Already after just over a month I have barely any visible scaring that you can see and I am back to walking perfectly. Adam was very clear in what he was going to do and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process.
I would definitely recommend Adam if you have Foot and Ankle problems.

Having waited many years to have my bunions operated on, I can honestly say that I would recommend the procedure to anyone. The staff at Southlands Hospital on the day of the operation were welcoming and attentive. Mr Asis and his team did an amazing operation on both my bunion and 2 toes. My aftercare at Worthing hospital from physio Charlie was very positive. She was very encouraging and gentle!
