J. H.Very grateful to Mr Ghosh for his exceptional skill and care. Less than a year after anterior cruiciate ligament reconstruction surgery I am back to full strength below I have just smashed my PB at park run. Thanks also to the nursing staff at St Richards and the rehab (Matt in particular) staff at worthing. I cannot think how the care I received could be improved.
p. c.Mr Ghosh was my consultant for a knee replacement which took place at Goring Hall Hospital in January. It is now 8 weeks after the surgery. The new knee is a great success and Mr Ghosh has been professional , encouraging and sympathetic throughout. I would recommend Mr Ghosh unreservedly.
S. M.Mr Ghosh has done a great job of reconstructing my medial patellofemoral ligament in my right knee. He had taken over from my previous consultant so I only met him shortly before the surgery. He was friendly and gave me space to raise any questions or concerns about the procedure. The surgery went as planned and 10 weeks on, we’ve been able to review how my kneecap is tracking and seen that the operation was a success. I’m very happy to be under the care of Mr Ghosh, and feel safe and confident in his abilities as a surgeon. In due course I will be having a MPFL reconstruction on my left knee and feel reassured that Mr Ghosh will also be undertaking this procedure for me. I think the NHS is fortunate to have Mr Ghosh as one of their clinicians.
S. M.My mum had the best experience with Mr Ghosh. Following an emergency bilateral hip replacement she was up and about quickly, and virtually pain free. Everyone including the physios were amazed at how quickly she recovered from the operation. Mr Ghosh visited mum often on the ward to check in on her (she had other illnesses), so positive too. Would highly recommend. Thank you Mr Ghosh for all you have done for my mum.
A. J.Mr.Ghosh is a very approachable orthopaedic consultant surgeon who replaced my left hip (a total replacement) when it became worn out due to osteoarthritis. This was carried out at BMI Goring Hall private hospital in late July 2021, as I did not want to wait for an NHS appointment - due to their long waiting list.
Mr.Ghosh uses tried and trusted methods that result in an excellent, stable joint.
I can thoroughly recommend him.
N. I.In May I had an accident resulting in three breaks to my left ankle along with a dislocated foot and a large amount of soft tissue damage. I had envisaged a long recovery period and disruption to my life along with a large amount of pain.
Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be treated by Mr Ghosh who took complete charge of the situation and conducted extensive surgery whilst being able to avoid the fracture blisters that were causing complications.
Mr Ghosh skilfully repaired the extensive damage caused and within two weeks of the internal fixation surgery, my physiotherapist was able to get me successfully weight bearing on the ankle in a boot.
Six weeks on, I have just had my final appointment with Mr Ghosh and I am now able to fully weight bear on the leg without any aids, and to walk again in normal foot wear .
The techniques used by Mr Ghosh ensured that any down time would be minimal and should I ever need any further orthopaedic surgery in the future, I will most certainly endeavour to be treated again by Mr Ghosh whom I cannot recommend highly enough.
Thank you for getting me back on my feet quickly and relatively painlessly.
