I recently visited Dr K’s clinic following recommendations from a friend ( who looks fantastic). To say I was impressed is an understatement. I recently had my first experience with aesthetic procedures with Dr K, and am so incredibly happy with the whole experience as well as the results. It took a while to find someone local who focuses on natural enhancement rather than over the top aesthetics, and also someone highly medically trained who will prioritise your safety, but here she is, tucked away in beautiful rural wales. Dr K put me at ease within the first few seconds of me being in the chair for the initial consultation, she explained absolutely everything so well and managed my expectations of what could be achieved very well. I went in thinking I would need an extensive over the top procedure to get the results I wanted, but instead she gave me an idea of what would give better results for longer and a less invasive procedure. If like me, you're on the fence and have done a little looking around but are getting spooked or overwhelmed with the amount of info and seeing too many over-worked faces, make a consultation with Dr Kenningham. She does not pressure you, you will be armed with all the info you want, and she may well give you better options!

I approached Dr K as I wanted to freshen up my ageing face without looking unnatural and my research pointed me in her direction as she had such great reviews. We had a 10 minute phone consultation first, then an hour-long consultation at her fabulous treatment room where I was made to feel welcome, relaxed and in safe and capable hands. Dr. Kenningham is a consummate professional. I lead a busy, stressful life and approaching 40, felt that I looked haggard. With dark circles and hollows under my eyes and a loss of volume from my cheeks, I started to research having Botox and fillers. Having seen and read a lot of horror stories, I took a long time to try to find and choose an expert in the field, and I’m so, so glad I did. The clinic is ideally situated in a private, peaceful setting with excellent links to Chester and Wrexham. It’s absolutely pristine. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with all current hygiene requirements and safety measures in place. Dr Kenningham herself is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. Very friendly, warm, empathetic and took a long time talk to me and fully understand what I wanted. There’s absolutely no pressure to “buy” any services or products, and she is incredibly thorough in describing every aspect of the treatments, expectations and outcomes, and what would be medically appropriate for my facial structure and why. We decided that subtle fillers and Botox around the cheek and eye area would be appropriate for me, with a tiny additional amount around the corners of my mouth and chin, and I was happy to have the procedures immediately after the consult. Dr K was gentle, calm and reassuring throughout and there was minimal discomfort. 24 hours later and I’m absolutely delighted. I can see a visible difference already, with no residual pain and no significant bruising or swelling. My confidence has already soared, and I will never go anywhere else! Well worth the two year wait to find such a fantastic highly specialised Doctor.

Dr K is a wonderful and kind professional who really takes the time to get to know you and your concerns so she can decipher which treatment is best suited to you and will give you your desired results. I recently visited the clinic for a consultation with Dr Maeve K. My concerns were jowls which were really affecting my confidence. My first thought was I was looking for threads but after a thorough assessment of my face she informed me that she didn't think threads were the right thing for me as I wouldn't get the desired lift I was after and that with strategically placed filler this would give me a very nature look which is what I was after. She explained in depth about the difference between the fillers available and how they work. Dr. K is THE expert in the region for the treatments advertised on her website. The location of her business is between Chester & Wrexham - its a family home but you pull into the driveway and down the garden is the building of the business. It's a modular building which has been built specially for the treatments advertised on her website. Dr. K is very professional, very knowledgeable & very skilled. I had the aqualyx treatment which can be applied to the neck area in order to reduce fats in the neck. I workout in the gym every other day but for some reason i had weight around the neck that just wouldnt shift so i decided to progress with the treatment. I was given very clear briefing/debriefing ahead of the treatment. The procedure took 40 mins and was painless. Bruising is usually expected but i didnt have any and no one could tell that i had any treatment done. Within 3 weeks i could see the difference from 1 treatment. Dr.K was very supportive and checked up on progression etc and made sure that i was happy with the results. Thank you.

Earlier this year I switched from my previous clinic to Dr K as I was seeing diminishing results from the Botox treatments i'd been having to reduce my forehead lines. From our first email conversation (where I was worried that I was somehow becoming immune to Botox) through to my initial consultation Dr K has been fantastic; she is friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable/experienced in her field. I would definitely recommend visiting Dr Maeve if you are considering any treatments. She is so knowledgeable and only wants what’s best for you. She explains what she can do and how all the different treatments work and all about any side effects. I had aqualyx to reduce my double chin (which also is quite saggy, and wrinkly) the treatment wasn’t painful at all but the swelling was quite dramatic, after 2 days the swelling reduced dramatically, it’s not even a week after treatment and my family and I can already tell the difference. I can’t wait to see the eventual results. I also have rosacea which is unsightly especially with the thread veins so I’ve started using the clinics skin care products and although it’s only been a few days and I’ve not noticed any reduction of the redness I have noticed that my skins elasticity has improved and it’s really nice to the touch. I’ll update my progress in six weeks. I really like that everything is discussed thoroughly and honestly. But even more importantly that the treatments given to improve the quality of my sun damaged and ageing skin before any other work is done so that all future treatments are optimised. Eventually, I will definitely look younger.
