We couldn’t have hoped for a better puppy class to attend with our little Bear. Sarah is full of knowledge & can basically speak the language of dog. Not only does she support the well-being of our pups but the well-being of the owners too! Having a puppy can be stressful & Sarah has always been at hand to reassure & make you feel like your concerns & worries with the pups are valid. Bear absolutely loves puppy classes & is such a socialite from attending. He’s now becoming a teen & has been presenting a little boisterous recently just as Sarah predicted! We couldn’t ask for a better trainer! We’ll be gutted when Bears too old to attend the classes because we as owners quite enjoy it too! Lovely atmosphere & you’re surrounded by puppies - what more could you want!

Sarah has been amazing and we’ve only had a few sessions so far, a true professional. She is confident, knowledgable, reassuring and offers the best services, both 1 to 1 and group. Sarah’s own dogs (and other animals) are a prime example of how great a trainer she is. Our pup is a rescue and had progressed so quickly with Sarah’s help. He has been socialised with other dogs in group classes and Sarah helped us introduce our bossy cat to our new dog, and put our mind at rest. Our pup had a great start to his training and we plan to continue! Highly recommend!

We've been working with Sarah since my puppy was 10 weeks old and I'm not sure we'd have got to this point if Sarah hadn't been there to help! In our initial consultation, Sarah steered us on what to do and what not to do in all aspects of settling puppy in and starting off our training. We have then had follow up 1 to 1 sessions on any issues that have arisen such as play biting, crate training and recall. We now join the weekly puppy classes so our pup can keep learning basic obedience and how to interact with other dogs in a safe and happy way. Would recommend Muttleys to anyone.

Would highly recommend! Sarah helped us out with our dachshunds which barked at every dog and struggled socialising. Within one hour session she helped us to prevent the barking and control it if the dogs did bark. Previously we didn’t let them off the lead but by the end of the session they were off and playing with other doggies. Huge help!!

I have used Sarah twice now with my French Bulldog Eddie, first time was when he was a pup and i needed help with walking him without pulling and then today with some issues at home (he is now 14 months) Sarah is fab, she helps you to work with your dog and look at things in a different way. We have lots to work on with Eddie but with hard work and perserverence i now feel confident to carry on with Sarah's advice and guidance. I would highly recommend her and wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Sarah was fantastic! We adopted a rescue from Romania. He had an initial 5 days of just my partner and I and was settling in brilliantly - a big softie. Then my partners kids who are 6 and 8 and our part-time resident dog arrived in the household and Marmite wasn't happy! He growled and snapped at the kids, making contact on a few occasions. He could have been badly treated by kids in the past and didn't like it whenever they waved their arms about (or carried the ketchup bottle to the table like a trophy! 😂). I messaged Sarah at Muttley's Dogs and she was so responsive and visited first thing the very next morning. She assessed Marmite and could tell he was a softie at heart but had trust issues from his tough past. She sat with us and the kids for over an hour explaining the obedience training we needed to put in place, the routine with the kids putting his food down, when to tell him no - all helping to confirm his place (below the kids!) in the pecking order in the pack. She also advised what to do in relation to our resident dog Poppy too. Within 48 hours we had him off the lead, responding well to recall and letting the kids stroke him gently. I felt so reassured by Sarah's advice. She followed up with some texts to check everything was going ok too. Thoroughly recommend this service and I can't praise Sarah highly enough! Thank you!! I contacted Sarah before I got my cocker spaniel Indi. She was very responsive to my email and seemed so positive and friendly about the puppy socialisation classes that I knew I had contacted someone who could really point me in the right direction. Since starting her classes, she has been so supportive and knowledgeable both in classes and out. I even phoned her one night at my wits end and nothing was too much trouble. (even at 10 at night!) She was calm in her approach and direct but I like that no nonsense approach. She truly understands dogs and their behaviour and feelings and can read the dogs behaviours so well. I know she is always there at the end of a line if I have any concerns. Myself, my girls and indi have also benefitted greatly from a 1 :1 session that Sarah did at our house. She gave us lots of ideas, reassurance and confidence to tackle any issues. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone who has a dog and needs any kind of help. Oh I forgot she also makes a lovely cuppa!

I instructed Muttleys to help with some behavioural and training issues we were having with our rescue dog. We booked one of their intensive courses and noticed changes after just a few sessions. Sarah helped us to understand some of the areas we needed to be focussing on and through repetition and following through with Sarah’s advice, we now have a much happier dog, owner and household. Had Sarah come to help with our reactive Springer, after the initial consultation we ventured out to our normal dog walking park. By the end of the walk we had our springer off lead and not really reacting to other dogs, was even playing fetch with another male dog (who he’d normally be wanting to get in the other dogs face). Sarah made us see some of our learned actions and our springer’s learned behaviours weren’t terminal and with work we could change what would normally be a stressful walk into enjoyably times for everyone. Sarah has a natural touch with dogs, our 16 month old frenchie Hugo warmed to her immediately (and so did we)! Fantastic!!! I have a 2 and a half year old cockapoo (leo) who used to bark at everything and anything aswell as being extremely protective and territorial. Started to use Sarah 3 weeks ago and noticed a difference in Leo within the 1st week... even my family and friends have noticed too! He seems so much more relaxed at home when others come round now and also when out on walks. Definitely recommend sarah, she really knows what works!
