I was having major problems trying to feed my new Miniature Schnauzer puppy, as he would spend ages dancing around his food bowl, but not actually eating, it was very strange and worrying behaviour which lead to me hand feeding him every meal.
Wendy from Chew Chew Train came to give me and my puppy Loki a 1 on 1 session, which really helped to put him on the right track and now he's eating as he should. She also taught me a command which I use to this day to make him stop doing whatever naughty thing he's doing (from chewing my belongings and eating dropped food on the street to barking at small children) he's now a much better companion for it.
I also changed my vet due to her advice and my bank account is so much better off for it too.
All in all, if you care for your pooch and want an easier life, I can highly recommend this service... you won't regret it!

In a short time, Wendy has transformed our dog’s behaviour. We are amazed!
Having recently adopted a Romanian street dog, we were dismayed to find that taking her for a walk was becoming almost impossible due to her aggression towards other dogs.
Wendy’s understanding of canine behaviour is remarkable. With all her experience and knowledge, she has turned our dog’s issues around. We wouldn’t have thought it possible.
Words can’t describe the delight we feel, as we watch our pet play happily and peaceably with other dogs.
Wendy is 100% dedicated and we would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Wendy is an amazing trainer! I recommend 100% She taught me the importance of obedience training to build confidence in my very anxious dog. He is such a good boy now and we are up to meeting 3 new dogs a day now when before I had to hide from every dog we saw. Eternally grateful.

Wendy is amazing! I was very concerned about training Recall, I was not sure how to begin teaching it or what techniques to use. She was extremely helpful and gave me so many tips not only for training recall, but many other skills. She trained me, to train my little puppy! Highly recommended!

Wendy is a fantastic trainer who has transformed my dog.
My dog was anxious and aggressive towards other dogs, especially on the lead, but is now confident, happy and able to run around daily off lead with all her many friends.
This has changed my life and I’m no longer dictated to by having to avoid other dogs in the street or park. I will be forever grateful.

I had a friend who was struggling with her dog. The dog was a rescue, a street dog from Romania. Still a puppy, but she had some behaviour issues. After she bit another dog in the park, my friend panicked and said she’d tell the charity to take the dog back.
But here’s the thing. The charity had placed a dog with my friend that didn’t meet her requests (she asked for a small adult dog, she got a large puppy dog, well done on providing a dog). She’d been told this dog had been neutered, so it was a little surprising when she came into season. Plus, when the charity was told they’d be getting the dog back, they put up an ad saying “good natured dog available to good home”.
I couldn’t stand by and let that happen. I don’t doubt the charity had the best intentions, but they clearly didn’t have the knowledge. This dog, placed with a home that didn’t know her history and didn’t have dog behaviour resources, was guaranteed on a one way trip to the vet. So I stepped in.
I am a professional dog walker. I have a lot of experience of street dogs. And I had intended to take on a second dog in 2019. I had already registered with Battersea. But my job is easier if my dogs are dog-friendly. Still I didn’t trust the future.
Wendy has helped hugely. She gave me a couple of sessions observation and identified my dog’s issues. She gave me useful help with training. She’s been available for follow up and odd issues (like my dog suddenly developing a fear of buses; she used to lunge & bark, now she either looks at me for treats or finds a very interesting bit of pavement). We still have a road to follow, but I know Wendy is there for support, which makes me feel so much better.
I need Wendy’s help. If you’re reading this, probably you do too. Get that help. Now.

Wendy looked after our beloved dog, Benjie, for around six months whenever we needed to have day care or even sleep overs. He clearly loved it - proven by his pulling to go to where she lived & where he'd hang out with her even now! - and we loved her. Wendy clearly has a gift with animals, especially dogs; her clam and centred approach to any problems, including spotting any early signs of potential (mis)behaviour had a hugely positive effect on Benjie, and as a result, us! We can safely say anyone looking for dog care in her new area of Deptford area has, in Wendy, found a fantastic, trust-worthy and diligent carer. We can't recommend her highly enough.

I am the owner of the best behaved German Shepherd dog in Brighton thanks to Wendy. I have met many people in the "dog business" but have never met anyone so dedicated and devoted to dogs and their well-being as Wendy.
