I really recommend Mike! We have had three sessions and they've been incredibly useful. In just a few weeks, my scared rescue dog has made wonderful progress. I can tell he is happier now too! The advice Mike gives is easy to follow and really makes you think about things from the dog's point of view. We've seen real results quickly because it's all force free, at the dog's pace, with tips that actually work. Even though we'd read lots of books and had support from the rescue charity, nothing beats having an experienced professional walking through situations with you and assessing your pet in real life. Having Mike on board really guided us through those tricky early weeks. I can't thank Mike enough and will definitely book his services again.

We went to Mike because our 1yr old lab cross Marvin was pulling like a train on walks and it was starting to give us bad backs! Mike was fantastic and showed us the best way to train Marvin without having to resort to snacks. Marv took to the training really well and that combined with the great harness that Mike recommended made a real difference. Can’t recommend Mike and Rainbow Dogs enough!

Mike was brilliant! I can't recommend him enough. He trained my whippet puppy in just three sessions. Two years later, people often comment on how well behaved my dog is. His techniques are subtle and calm which is always good for the dog. I now have a lurcher too and I use the same techniques with her.

Mike's knowledge of all things canine is truly amazing. He has helped me with information from afar as sadly I don't live near him to benefit from his one to one hands on work. Wish I did, because my Beagle pup could do with his "Midas touch". I highly recommend Rainbow Dogs.

Mike is amazing! We had the 3 beginner lesson package with Mike with our new addition, a beagle pup. For the first lesson Mike came to our house to see how we were with the pup and how we acted. He picked up straight away on what was needed to be changed. We learnt a lot within the first lesson alone. 2nd and 3rd lessons were outside learning with the short lead as well as a training lead. You could try and learn over YouTube vids and books but Mike is great with the dogs individuality and we have carried on with everything that he has taught us. We will be re-visiting Mike soon for taking our dog skills further and make sure that we haven't fallen into any dodgy habits! :) A pleasure to learn from and Reggie loves him!

I recently bought my puppy a Perfect Fir harness: it arrived very promptly and is an excellent product. I would recommend Rainbow Dogs and will certainly use them again as the service I received was superb.

Mike is the bestest! Without him Mr Darcy and Lord Nelson our two rescue springer spaniels would not be able to lead the lives they do now - lounging in the local cafes and enjoying pub visits, chasing their doggy friends in the local parks, but also roaming the Downs like a proper gun dog and splashing on the beache when the weather permits. Amazing how far they’ve come with Mike’s help from totally shut down and not able to cope with other dogs or human beings to being these cheeky spanners with their own character. Most important of all Mike’s lessons are great fun. Highly recommended.

Mike is a fantastic trainer, he worked with myself and Jake my German Shepherd to achieve full assistance dog status with the charity DogAID - this involved everything from high levels of obedience on and off lead to teaching Jake the many and varied tasks he needed to support me in the home and in public, Mike can turn his hand to anything and Jake loved it all :) His training is by positive methods only, he's very patient and his results are absolutely fantastic - Jake and I qualified in October and I still can't believe how far we have come since we started training with him. He's also a genuinely lovely person that you feel relaxed and comfortable with from day 1, very very highly reccommended - wish I could give more than 5 stars! :)
