Caroline has been supporting me as a reactive dog owner since attending the Prickly Pooches course before Covid. Her knowledge and support has been invaluable. We've continued to attend the regular practice sessions she runs and she's always been happy to offer advice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Prickly Pooches to anyone who is struggling with a reactive dog.

Highly recommended! The "prickley pooch" course was massively helpful in teaching me how to manage my reactive dog...learnt really useful stuff about dog behaviour and triggers and we were able to put it into practice in the safe and controlled environment caroline set up.. Has done wonders for my own and my dogs stress levels..walks are much calmer now!!

I have attended Caroline’s puppy classes in the past with various pups, excellent classes abd would highly recommend. More recently however, I need to call on Caroline as my dad cuter added a lurcher to the household. He doesn’t realise his size, and now he’s grown, doesn’t understand his weight too which has caused lots of fights, with my poodle taking a lot of the brunt of it. Caroline visited us to help us . Her invaluable advice which we gave worked on diligently, has resulted in - They can all sit and get treats, without one going for the others treat! Fights have reduced/stopped! Little and large have shared the same space independently. Our lurcher and two little ones can pass each other calmly, without attacking each other! Our big boy and my poodle have actually tried playing together! Something that hasn’t happened since the lurcher was a pup! All in all, amazing outcome so far, still a work in progress obviously, but heaps better than before Caroline’s advice - A MONTH AGO!

I have only recently started attending a Cardiff Canine Citizens puppy class. It is amazing how much we humans and our puppy have learnt already. The staff are extremely approachable and give great advice that really makes a difference. Our puppy enjoys the classes very much and sleeps very well afterwards 🙂 Activities are well thought through and extremely safe for puppies and humans alike. Social distancing is always in place.

I met Caroline at Cardiff Canine Citizens through her prickly pooches course she runs. I have a dog that really benefited from these classes, it's not just the dog that needs to learn it is the Owner/handler too. Caroline helps so much and teaches you to read your dogs body language and know how to handle situations when you take your dogs out and meet other dogs. I would totally recommend these classes, everybody is in the same situation and its good to chat to people who understand the difficulties involved with a prickly pooch. Caroline also sets up practice sessions after you have attended the course and these are of great benefit. I also recommend all the other classes, Caroline puts so much time and effort into her training and is very thorough and happy to help you if you struggle.

We completed the Prickly Pooches course in November 2018. I can highly recommend the course. Caroline has helped us in so many ways, teaching us different distraction techniques and also enabling us to become more confident in ourselves when out and about with our dog. The set up of the course is brilliant, it's in a group with other reactive dogs but is safe and a totally controlled environment. Caroline also offers follow up practice sessions which are really helpful in practising different techniques. We have really seen the difference in our dog since completing the course, she is a lot happier and less nervous. On completing the course you can also join Caroline's Facebook page where other owners can provide support to one another and also arrange walking groups to continue implementing what was learnt. If this course is anything to go by I can imagine Caroline's puppy course is also the same. Go for it!

Caroline & team have been immensely useful in helping ro improve issues with a reactive rescue dog we took on. Her Prickly Pooches class was a great starting point, then super useful that Caroline runs regular Practice Sessions in a large secure field with other reactive dogs + owners, but in a very controlled manner. Caroline then links past course attendees via Facebook group to allow self organising of safe on lead walks with other owners that have been through Caroline's courses.

Myself and a friend, came along to a propriception workshop and had a great time. Easy to find, and the dogs came away absolutely shattered. Caroline was helpful and friendly. When I have time to travel up again to one of their fab workshops they host/run, I shall cross the bridge in to Wales!

I would recommend anytime, our dog is an English springer and full of energy, very hard to get him to concentrate at first but with Caroline's help he is doing an amazing job at listening now, it doesn't happen overnight but the 3 weeks that Caroline helped with training made a massive difference.
