S. M.We’ve taken our cockapoo, Margot twice now to Mucky Pups and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service! We’d been to The Groom Room in Cardiff before coming here and it’s so much better! Margot always come home smelling and looking lovely! We’ve seen a TikTok of her being groomed as well and she looks to really be enjoying it! Clearly, the team are really good with all the dogs in their care!! Really recommend, fantastic all round!

The dogs stay soft, fluffy and clean ( as long as they don't roll around in fox mess) until their next groom. Their loyalty scheme would be excellent if it was ever 5 or 6 weeks instead of the 4 weeks that they currently have

J.Been taking our two dogs to Mucky Pups for years and they always have a brilliant groom -always come out sparkling clean (however Bad they look when I take them in 🤣) the staff are lovely and always remember my dogs and make a fuss of them. We particularly love seeing their pictures go on social media after their groom as it’s shows how happy and relaxed the dogs are. Highly recommended.

E. K.I take my cavapoo Daisy to mucky pups every 4 weeks. The girls are great.. They always do an amazing job and she always comes out looking and smelling lovely and seems very happy! I think Daisy can be a bit grumpy when being groomed (she's an old girl!) but the girls are always so nice about it and she seems to be getting better each time. Would 100% recommend! Thank you xx
L.The two assistants who dealt with Max were exceptionally understanding, he is a very playful 10 month old. Previously in other groomers they found it difficult to bathe him but this time he was okay ! He even coped with the hair dryer on a lower setting which meant it took a little while to dry him but this did not bother them . I believe it was the relaxed atmosphere that helped Max to cope and the caring of the assistants. Well done Mucky Pups of Crwys road Cardiff . A truly wonderful dog grooming shop. Would absolutely recommend this grooming salon. Max and his owners say thank you for my hair cut.
L. b.Took my Cairn Terrier, Eric, to them. The girls were wonderful with him, he looked and smelled beautiful. The groom room is lovely and spacious, a place for the dog to play while he/she is awaiting their pampering. Would highly recommend. Prices are good, £28 for Eric, much better than Pets at Home who cut him, leaving a small gash, and charged me £38 for the pleasure!! Lovely accessories for sale as well. Will be going back in 3 months.

We provide various loyalty schemes to help keep your pooch looking tip top all year around and we reaping very quickly to any feedback. We have salons in Cardiff, Risca and Chepstow.
D. K.Girls were lovely, the design of shop felt closed off. Didnt feel very professional as no diary or questionnaire about my pets. Pets were fresh on collection! Will try again.
S. J.I took my Japanese Akita here for the first time the other week and was nervous as didn’t really know the people and was forced to change my groomers as she sold the business and they only were prepared to groom smaller dogs
First impressions a little shaky extremely busy and the girls looked rushed, I then was told a price which was different from my initial conversation, not much but it got my goat up a bit
Persuaded myself to go to the bank and pay there and then and leave my dog with them.
Then I just sat in the car and read reviews which I didn’t before booking , some were very bad and I almost got back out of the car to get him but didn’t
Well my daughter picked him up as we were out and when we got back home he looked absolutely amazing
Now I mean amazing every other groom he would still have excess hair falling off him as his coat is difficult at best , but nothing he was absolutely spotless , and the best he has ever been groomed , my daughter also said the girls loved him and he was so easy which I did say before dropping him off but I didn’t get much response
Bottom line , I will be going back and would highly recommend this groomer, one fault , the price change but fantastic groom and Jin looked great 😊👍
