Kate is an amazing, funny and kind human being who loves not only dogs, but also cats and parrots! She looked after our pets when we were away for a month and it was such a relief to have her there. She clearly loves animals very much and always seems very excited and interested in little ways to help our pets feel happy. Would definitely recommend Kate to anyone looking for someone to look after and train their pets.

After training our Working Cocker pup for 6 months we needed a little help to deal with a few niggling issues. Kate listened to us, spent time with our boy and then delivered practical solutions that were both easy to implement and made rapid improvements. She certainly has amazing insight into how dogs think and interact with other dogs and humans! Highly recommended.

Kate was busy that day I needed a dog sitter so she asked her sister Jenny if she could help to look after my dogs whilst I had to go to hospital so Kate arranged to come up to my house with her sister Jenny the day before to meet my babies to prepare them all for the following day. There was a bit of barking first of all and then my dogs accepted both Kate and Jenny.
It’s great to have someone I can trust and rely on and great to know that both Katie and Jenny have a lot knowledge on how to care for dogs and cats !
With all the terrible news on dognapping today nobody’s dogs or any animals are safe at all so my advice is to all those who own an animal is to find a sitter to stay with your pet and that way you know your pet is being loved and cared for and 100 % safe !
Jenny did a wonderful job looking after my little ones for me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Katie and Jenny for all your support which is very much appreciated.
God bless you both !

Maggie trusts and likes Kate which is really important to me (and Maggie!!). Kate is first on my list if I need someone to walk Maggie or pop in and check on her. Kate's love of dogs is backed up by knowledge and experience and I would highly recommend her.

WOW! ....what a find I've had with Kate!! I'm a bit of a novice with dogs but inherited a very 'lively' - with not many 'boundaries' - Korean Jindo at 10 months. So many issues to sort out ...pulling on the lead/ott with other dogs/destroying furniture and door frames due to separation anxiety even if away for just 30 mins. Travel sickness.... The list was long. But within 20 mins of Kates first meeting with Mina - she was really making unbelievable progress with her speed and direction on walks - now - for such a lively dog - its almost perfect - and its only been a few weeks. Kate has got me though a real roller coaster of 'can't keep her/can keep her' with Mina. Practical, kind and with a great heart! The work continues... Kate spares no effort - and communications are great too - even late at night! - well above the call of duty. Kate really cares and I can't praise her enough. Give her a try. Shes got us over the worst of it and the work continues... ))

Kate has been absolutely fantastic with our baby Bruno - our long haired mini dachshund who we got during Covid. When we were able to go back in to the office it became apparent that we'd need some help to make sure Bruno didn't get lonely during the day - Kate has been brilliant at putting my mind at ease particularly in the beginning when I felt anxious about leaving Bruno with someone new.
Kate has been so accommodating to my changing schedule and has introduced Bruno to other pups in the neighbourhood improving his social skills and his behaviour. We are so grateful to have stumbled across Tails of Wivenhoe - Bruno too!

I have found myself a dog whisperer! Kate has helped me make progress with my 2 year old dog, who is just entering adolescence, where all his training needs reinforcing. Kate has shown me how to calm my dog before walks with a simple routine, ignoring the bad behaviour and not giving eye contact until he settles and sits so that I can put his lead on. She has also given advice to stop him jumping up for attention. We then moved on to improve lead walking, which is so much easier now that I have the correct lead and am back in control and understand how to check his enthusiasm with a consistent approach, rather than with increasing tension! Kate seems to have an innate understanding of dogs and her quiet, patient interaction charmed him straight away. We both love to see her arrive and work her magic! Can't recommend her highly enough!

Kate is such a great trainer. She has helped me to recognise and use positive reinforcement with my two rescue dogs. The dogs are much calmer and I feel more confident in handling their negative behaviours, which is turning this around, and is all thanks to Kate.
