Excellent standard of care provided by an all female team. Very helpful staff who will accommodate any special dietary requirements your dog has. Dogs are well exercised and groomed. I would definitely recommend this kennels.

Used these kennels for first time recently for our two boxers. Everything seems very efficient and the girls caring for them very knowledgeable and clearly dog lovers. Our two were there for a week and have come back clean (they were bathed the morning of collection) and also exhausted. Will use again and also recommend.

Firstly thank you for looking after my dog whilst we were away on holiday and giving her a bath before we picked her up she was lovely and clean. But for the luxury part of the place I was a little bit underwhelmed to find the place a little bit run down and dilapidated although it did seem secure. I would have liked to have seen a more fresh reception area and a little happier looking front for the business. Also I was made aware of an additional night cost as a late fee would be £7 extra and my wife was charged £28 so more than we thought. Saying that it did what it said on the tin and kept our dog safe and clean for our return for that we give thanks.

Our dog absolutely loves it here! The girls are all lovely and so accommodating too. We have used Holmewood for day care and boarding on several occasions and wouldn't want to send our dog anywhere else now. All the team do an amazing job.

We’ve just picked Scout up from a 2 day stay. Would like to say a huge thanks to Izzy and the team for taking great care of him. Scout is a very “precious” and needy Bichon who has a knack of pushing our buttons and acting really upset when we leave him any time. I was quite concerned that he was not settling when we left him but Izzy reassured me that once he is in with his little team of friends he has a fabulous time. Each time we pick him up he is his normal playful self so I know he isn’t getting stressed. The reception area is looking very smart and we’re always greeted by cheerful staff. I have a Border Collie who is reactive to other dogs and strangers. The owners and staff at the kennels are brilliant with her. She loves to go to the day care, and she greets the staff with so much enthusiastiasm. They look after her really well. Highly recommended.

Dropped our dog off before we went away. She's still very young so we were a little worried she may not settle. The staff member took our dog into the kennels. We rang a couple of times whilst away and were given really good updates. We collected our dog this morning and she was really happy to see us, after a few seconds of wondering who we were!! She is fine and has settled back at home quickly. She seems to have eaten well and has had plenty of exercise. Would definitely use the kennels again, price was also really good, and would definitely recommend them.

I use this kennels and another one both look after your animal's the same, the reason i have given this kennels 4 stars is they have a Facebook page and used to post pictures of your animal's but no longer do this. The other kennels do and it helps put your mind at ease seeing your pet is happy, once this kennels starts using Facebook again i will be happy to change my rating. The staff are friendly and the owner is too and listen to any concerns please note they have just put there prices up slightly so call before you book to get a price

Hi I've used these kennels for as least 12yrs previously when Lesley, Lesley & Andrew run the venue & every year since the lovely Andrea & James has taken up the gauntlet & I can quite honestly say the standards, caring, & quality of service has maintained & dare say improved as there experience with this community & change in direction of working environment I'll be using this establishment for many years to come. Amazing kennels will be using them again for our next holiday..We were a little nervous as we have a 1 yr and 7 month old patterdale and was unsure on how they would react (as they we treat them like our children) the staff made sure they stayed together and they had them all groomed and ready for us collecting them a day earlier than arranged but was no hassle for them! Our dogs came back happy and smelling lovely. Definitely recommend!

Always friendly and clearly adore the doggy residents. You can sometimes tell a kennels by the smell but this place doesn't.... the litmus test however has to be my dog's attitude to the place- he evidently loves it and is happy to go there. Can't fault the kennels.

Our Labrador has been going to holmewood for over 8 years for doggie day care and overnight boarding. He still gets excited every time he goes in and he won’t leave without a cuddle! As he is happy, we are happy. We are happy to recommend them.

As ever my kids have been well looked after, no hesitation in jumping in the car with James to go with him and always come back home with happy faces which is always impressive with lurchers as they are very expressive. Everyone I speak to says they have been good ( my pupsters are nutters 😂) and I never have to worry when they are in their care

5 stars are not enough for the staff that look after your pets here, our first time over this last week with our 2 dogs and they've done an amazing job, even bathed them before we picked them up, seriously special place to leave your pets xx
