J. A.Having had a 20+ year hiatus from owning a dog we took we plunge and got a puppy Border Terrier and then contacted Josee for help with training (both Buddy and us humans). Josee responded quickly and efficiently and we booked the two session puppy training sessions. The first session was in our home and Josee had Buddy sitting in under 3 minutes which I thought was akin to a miracle. She gave both my wife and me excellent advice and guidance which we took on board and started using with Buddy. The second session was outside and I'm pleased to say that both Buddy and I passed with flying colours :). Josee really knows her stuff and offered us advice and guidance on lots of areas and she took the trouble to do some research on Border Terriers so she was better informed for us. Buddy is flying along now and is a massive part of our lives. Josee is very easy to get along with and because she is very aware of the anxieties that, I suspect, most puppy owners have she can impart a wealth information. Highly recommended
L. M.I was looking for some guidance with my JRT puppy and found Josee’s sessions very helpful. In a world with endless conflicting ‘advice’ available it was very reassuring to have someone so experienced see us and advise on our specific behaviours. Josee tailored the sessions to our specific needs as well as offering more general knowledge and tips throughout. My pup’s life has definitely improved and I feel more confident. I came away from both sessions with so much information to digest, Josee’s follow up emails were excellent and I continue to use them as reference.

We met Josee in a very difficult time, our puppy was a 4 months-old lively Golden Retriever and we had spent the previous 2 months following a completely outdated training method, which didn't allow him to have any level of interaction with any human /animal beings.. resulting in him being extremely distressed and biting at our ankles at all times (especially mine!). We were not allowed to give him more than 1 toy a day and he was not allowed to walk outside on the lead, even if fully vaccinated, uless perfectly trained on heel-walking (he should be still locked in the house according to this method!). I remember when Josee came to visit us for the first time the happiness of our puppy when she started taking out different toys one after another from her bags !! This is what a dog has supposed to be, happy and playful! She explained to us how important was for him to go out as much as possible and interact with different dogs/people, making sure that boundaries and some rules were met (he was not allowed to play with everyone at all times, following the "rule of 3" ! ), and how the theory we were following was outdated, according to the most recent evidence- based literature. We met twice , one at home and one outside, and afterwards she was always available to give good advice /explanations "as required" , always reinforcing those with articles and the most recent research (very interisting the information about whether or not neutering from different perspective).
She has even suggested a friend for our dog (another Retriever she was helping with training) and thank her now they are best friends !
She is very friendly, approachable, thoughtful, and professional. I do recommend Josee !

Josee's experience and knowledge is evident in every step. We went for the Puppy Package with a large sighthound puppy and in two sessions the information, skills and techniques taught to us, are invaluable.
The sessions are informal and Josee is fantastic to work with, we were followed up with every session with a detailed training plan including videos & checklists which made it easy to digest and if we did need to refresh our minds the information was there.
Josee's love of dogs is in abundance and honestly would recommend her ten fold.

L. M.It has been a great experience working with Josee. We are delighted we found her to help train our cocker spaniel puppy. She has been terrific at explaining how to encourage Orin to behave well and always has a host of really good tips and tricks, plus exciting training aids. It's always a pleasure to meet with Josee for a training session and great to know that we are talking to someone with qualifications in animal welfare and behaviour. Another bonus is that Josee sends a full write up after each session with a reminder of what do and links to handy videos and other online material.

C. S.Josee is fantastic and in just 2 sessions was able to help with our walking to heel work and dog reactivity. Our second session was today and she brought her dog with her so we could work on the reactivity issue and it went better than I had hoped for! I can't recommend Josee highly enough!
A. C.Josee is a lovely person and great at her job. I was having real problems with Hamish, my Maltese. His recall was non existent and he didn't like to be" Home Alone". We had 2 sessions with Josee, both times she came to our home. On the first lesson she had Hamish recalling to the whistle. It was amazing how quickly he picked it up. We started in my lounge, moved into the garden and half an hour later were in the park with Hamish responding as though he had done it for all of his young life. Session 2 was dealing with separation anxiety. Josee again came to the house, assessed our setup, gave advise and interacted with my boy. Three weeks later I am now able to leave him alone and get out to do shopping for the first time in 5 months. Apart from the visits Josee has taken a real interest in Hamish and kept intouch. I would highly recommend her to anyone with a problem fur baby!
R. W.Would recommend Josee to anyone who needs assistance with their dog training. I was struggling with understanding my cockapoo and keeping her from being reactive at people, dogs and random things like plastic bags. Josee provided me with a few simple ways to distract Neffie and draw her attention back to me before she then reacted. Within a week I felt so much calmer, understanding of my dog and put in place things that enabled both of us to live a much happier life. Sometimes you just need someone else to guide you along the way and Josee was absolutely brilliant at that. Thank you so much and I won't hesitate to use Josee again in the future should the need arise.
z. e.Josee has recently done some training sessions with us and our cocker spaniel puppy Mia. She gave us some excellent advice and practiced some great reinforcement exercises with us. I can honestly say, it's like having a different dog after her sessions! Our puppy's behaviour has improved so much, I cannot recommend Josee enough!

We love the extra personal touches, Josee bakes homemade treats for the dogs & puts pictures up on Facebook which we love! She is also very quick at responding to messages, adding an extra walk on is never a problem. She is a great dog walker, I highly recommend her & so does Harris 🐶
H. D.My terrier puppy loved to puppy bite and I had no clue how to deal with her, Josee was able to help teach her into a perfectly behaved little terrier and help teach me about her behaviour, how to manage it, teach her basic obedience and manage her love for people and dogs!
We still have work to do to keep her training up but I can definitely see the light! Thank you!
S.If I could give Josee 10 stars I would. She regularly pops in to visit our Border Terrier, Boris, when we are at work and goes way beyond just providing a toilet break and company. She always has something new to entertain him with - whether some new 'sniffs', a balance board or a trick to teach him - she is utterly marvellous. Boris is always left tired-out and happy, obviously very much enjoying her company! Her knowledge and passion for dog behaviour is a huge asset and she is always attending seminars and training events, to build on her expertise. We love seeing Boris's photos pop up on Facebook too and we know he really looks forward to her visits. We would HIGHLY recommend Josee's Dog Walking.
