Working with Kellie has been the best decision we've made, regarding our puppy. Kellie has a wealth of knowledge about everything from optimising your home environment for a calm and well-stimulated dog, to training for reliable recall and disengagement from distractions outdoors.
Kellie is reliable, flexible, generous with her time and excellent value. Can't recommend her enough. We will certainly be keeping in touch with her. Thanks Kellie!

Working with Kellie has been absolutely brilliant. Her expertise is endless and she has really helped me understand my dog Rory's behaviour. I've been very surprised at how much progress we've made, Rory is like a different dog, so calm and confident now. I can't recommend Kellie highly enough!

We decided to start working with Kellie when our Norfolk terrier puppy was around 6 months old and it was the best decision! Kellie is extremely knowledgeable and she gave us a ton of super useful advice and training strategies. She went the extra mile to support us with our puppy and I think everyone with a new dog would benefit from working with her.

Kellie is, without a doubt, the best in-person dog coach we have ever had. In one session, she gave us protocols that we now use with our border collie pup everyday, and which have had an incredible impact on both her behaviour, her happiness, and her calm levels. Five stars.

Kellie was incredibly patient and knowledgeable in helping us with our rottweiler who suffers from traffic fears. She taught us effective techniques to help calm and distract Ruby that we will continue to use forever. Kellie is reassuring and really helped us to manage our strong girl. I can't thank her enough for her advice and expertise. We have a dog that no longer jumps into someones front garden when she hears a car!

We booked a 90 minute session with Kellie because we were having some niggly issues with our 4 year old lab/pointer cross (lead pulling, patchy recall and ball stealing). We had a thorough phone call before booking. Kellie turned up on time for our appointment and we went to our local park. Kellies advice is holistic, she talks about health, dog psychology and how they learn and behave. The techniques she uses are play based and fun. All about positive reinforcement. She explains everything clearly, asks insightful questions and listens to your answers and queries. We all really enjoyed our session and it’s not an exaggeration to say there were immediate improvements in our dogs behaviour. Kellie emailed comprehensive notes after the session and we have had excellent and quick results while having fun following her advice! We also learned a lot about dog health and that’s going to hopefully keep our vet bills down in years to come!!
I have no hesitation recommending Kellie. She’s the best dog coach or trainer we’ve seen (from puppy training through to bespoke sessions). Her approach really clicked for us and our pooch! The results keep coming!

Kelly is amazing. She teaches you how to understand your own dog, and rather than just focusing on specific skills, she helps you to create a really strong relationship, and clear communication with them.
We only had 3 sessions with her and we went from having a dog that would behave as if we didn't exist when on walks (0 recall, leash pulling, barking at everyone) to a dog than enjoys hanging out and walking with us, and who absolutely hares it back to us when we call her.
Kelly is really patient and really good at listening - she will answer your specific questions and give you really tailored advice. Could not recommend more. And our pup loves her too!

Kellie has been fantastic in helping us train our new puppy Murphy. She is so wonderful with him and her knowledge of dog behaviour and training is incredible. She took the time to get to know Murphy and gave us so much advice tailored to his individual needs. She has given us countless tips on how to train our pup and explained everything so clearly. We have seen such an improvement in Murphy and are reassured to know that follow-ups with Kellie can be booked for any issues that arise.

Kellie was absolutely amazing with my anxious and reactive dog Angus. I had probably the first entirely nice, calm walk with him for the first time in ages because of her. She showed me so many things in our session and was really in-depth about the information she gave me. The follow up email was also very thorough. As a result walks with Angus have been much more enjoyable. There are still things we need to work on and not every walk has been perfect but they’ve been massively improved and I have much more hope now that he will get there and enjoy walks so much more. I would recommend her to anyone struggling with their dog. It’s honestly the best money I have spent in regards to my dog.

We have two Jack Russell who have grown up together but one has been very aggressive toward the other recently. Kellie spent a couple of hours with us and the dogs and have given us a better idea of what is happening. We understand that the problem might not be solved yet but we feel more confident in being able to deal with it. The aggressive dog has become much more relaxed in a short space of time. Kellie has not only give us the skills to help the dogs live together but has also help us with ensuring that they are more healthy. We would recommend Kellie to anyone who is wanting to understand their dogs better and enjoy their pets.

Kellie is amazing! We had a two hour session which was worth every penny. Kellie is very knowledgeable and really knows dogs!

We're very grateful for the time and effort Kellie has put into our pup! She has completely reassured us and we now see her on a monthly basis to keep ourselves right. Our pup absolutely adores her and hangs on her every command.
Each session is followed by a very detailed plan and even lifestyle recommendations for your pet. We honestly could not recommend Kellie enough and we've been very lucky to work with her!

We have a rescue dog who is wonderful with people but reactive with other dogs. Kellie taught us how to interpret her behaviour and help us understand why she reacts the way she does. After one session with Kellie, we already saw an improvement in her behaviour and since then she has been making steady progress, staying calm even with other dogs off lead and in close proximity. I would absolutely recommend her to others, particularly if dealing with a livestock guardian breed - her knowledge of them as specific breeds is great and she's so good with handling them - I think our pup was in love with her!

My partner and I were overwhelmed by the energy and specific needs of our border collie puppy. Kellie was excellent in teaching us how to communicate and be patient with Indy. She taught us specific games for border collies and was so knowledgable about his breed and tailored each session to Indy, and us. We would definitely recommend Kellie and may be using her again to brush up on some skills soon!

Kellie is fantastic, our puppy Finn loves her, as do we! We booked a course of 4 lessons then a follow up refresher. Kellie has such a calm manner with Finn that he trusts her totally. Not only that but as new owners Kellie has trained us also and really built up her confidence. I have already recommended to friends and fellow dog walkers and they also have great feedback

Kellie provided us with some really wonderful advice and training for our dog, and did so in a fun, professional and easy to digest way. All our sessions were followed up by detailed notes, and we genuinely felt that Kellie cared about getting the best outcome for us and our dog. Highly recommend her services (and our dog absolutely loved her)

Kellie was able to teach me so much about my dog and her behaviour and gave us so many techniques to help manage different situations.
Each session was followed up by an email with a summary of what we learned and what to keep working on.
The 4 sessions we had were enough to transform my dog from crazy jumping over every dog and human we met, to walking nicely on lead and playing nicely with other dogs.
100% recommend Kellie!

Kellie is the most amazing dog trainer ever! She was so wise, knowledgeable and patient with my dog Hope, instantly knew what the issues were and how to put her at ease. We now have calm, wonderful walks along with great strategies for the future. Highly recommend 10/10

We have a little miniature schnauzer pup who had become quite the barker! We’re still surprised at how quickly the techniques Kellie taught us have helped him quiet down.
What was the most fantastic was how quickly Kellie was able to identify what was causing him to bark (within a few minutes of meeting him) and offer really useful help which just filled us with relief that the was light at the end of the barking tunnel. Couldn’t recommend her enough :)

Kellie is a fantastic and attentive trainer and she cares deeply for the wellbeing and success of the animals she works with. We have just finished 4x 1:1 training sessions with Kellie and our boxer pup and everything we have learned has been of great value. We have no hesitation in recommending The Dog Coach Edinburgh to anyone looking for a generous and knowledgable trainer and Kellie will be our first port of call should we need helping hand in the future.

Kellie has been absolutely amazing when helping us with setting up our (then 5 month old) pup for success. We have participated in 4 classes with Kellie. She's very knowledgeable, responsive and will meet you outside wherever it suits you most.
We then contacted Kellie in September 2021 to address our pup's excessive barking and she, again, has been amazing and very helpful.

Kellie was absolutely brilliant with both Alfie (my Cockapoo puppy) and me.
Following puppy classes, I booked 4 sessions over the following 3.5 months to keep on top of what we were doing.
I found her advice and support invaluable - whether it was confirming the things I was doing, teaching me new approaches or giving me new ideas to try out.
Highly, highly recommended!
I’ll definitely be going to future classes or book additional individual sessions as Alfie gets older
Thanks Kellie!

Kellie was absolutely brilliant supporting us with our greyhound regarding separation anxiety. She provided insight into why Nala was struggling, and how she feels being left alone. Kellie gave us a firm structure of training and practise sessions to work to and checked in regularly to see our progress. We are now able to leave Nala happily for up to an hour! I'd definitely recommend The Dog Coach!

After getting nowhere fast trying to get our Yorkie engaged with training, we sought the help of Kellie. She gave us lots of great advice and training tips that we've been able to put in practice, giving us so much more confidence with a much more engaged dog. Highly recommend.

I got in touch with Kellie as we had a new puppy and I felt we had no idea what we were doing. It was such a helpful session because it helped us know what we were doing right and what we needed to improve on and change. I loved Kellie's approach which was gentle, positive and loving. She also quickly came into the house and had Ginny sussed so easily that it made us realise how it's the simple things. Since the session 10 days ago, we have noticed a massive improvement in the areas we were focussed on and now know what we need to keep working with and where to go back to to get more advice. I would recommend Kellie very highly. She's fab. Thank you!

Absolutely great, Kellie works with both groups and individual settings to support you and your pup - easy pace, positive and encouraging approaches. A strengths based approach to bonding and training. Can't recommend enough.

From my first interaction with Kellie over email to in person training has maintained a bespoke, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly empowering approach. My wife and I rescued a guardian dog without knowing it and Kellie immediely picked up on it and has been reeducating us as our sweet girl has different needs to companion breeds common in the UK.

Kellie was brilliant with our pup. She was super helpful, reassuring and we came away each week with a clear plan of what to focus on and a better understanding of our dog. I would totally recommend working with Kellie.

We've done dog classes before with our young Newfie, which offered a good foundation but we found that some of the standard advice just wasn't working out for us. Kellie came up with really imaginative, bespoke training ideas tailored to the specifc needs of our family.
Ursa loved her! And even in a single session in the park, she got Ursa to focus on her despite distractions, in a way I struggled to! The follow up email was really detailed and practical, and I feel confident I can execute the advice she gave. And if we still need work, I'll be getting straight back in touch with Kellie!

Dog coach? More like dog whisperer! Left every training session with Kellie feeling empowered and motivated, despite the challenges of raising a puppy. We were gob-smacked at how quickly she taught him “drop”; we were at our wits-end with him picking up rubbish everywhere, but he now (mostly) prioritises a good treat and a cuddle. Recall training and loose-lead training have been life saving techniques, not to mention how much fun we had. Puppy training really is about training the human – it wasn’t just Freddie the pup who needed a nap after all the learning! She made a really clear point of noting what his body language meant as well, and provided us with post-training advice emails, which were particularly helpful for us to decipher why he was biting us. Couldn’t recommend Kellie more.

Kellie gave me excellent advice and demonstrated techniques I could use with Archie who is very excitable and reactive towards other dogs. She is professional, calm and patient, it was evident that she cares and understands in the way she interacted with Archie in a calm and gentle way.

Kellie was brilliant with our rescue dog - she really knows what she is talking about and her advice / guidance has helped us and our dog hugely.

Reassuring and very helpful. Highly recommended.
