First time using CP Glasgow, absolutely faultless process. Emailed Thursday, contacted by them Friday (even googling my garden to ensure its appropriate whilst I'm on the phone). Adoption finalised Saturday, collected the following Wednesday where Miss Georgie is living a fabulous life. Even keep in touch with them now sending the odd photo and / or donation. If anyone deserves donations it's these guys at Lenzie. Thanks again guys.

Great rescue center with really helpful and knowledgeable staff who will give you all the info you need and ensure you can take the right cats for you home 🐈🐾 there are lots of viewing windows and you can meet the cats before deciding. They also sell all the cat toys, litter, food and accessories.

Our wee cat Tessa was with us 22 year. She was our daughter and a sister to our children.our boys were two and three when she joined our family she was seven weeks at that time and she brought so much happiness to our lives and she was there seven years later when our daughter was born. it broke our hearts when she had to leave us .we had to make a hard decision to stop her suffering and let her go.but it brings joy to my heart to see the work the cat protection people do.

We visited to see what cats were there and to see what would be the best type of cat to re-home. Very impressed with the work they do. They had taken a group of 34 from a multi cat home in February and some of them were only now coming out of hiding. Definitely would want to help cats like these who have been let down previously. You will be given advice on the cat's temperament and how they have been interacting.

The staff do an amazing job here and always do everything for the good of the cats. They will help you through the process of adoption and also are incredibly sympathetic towards owners who through circumstances beyond their control have to give up their cats for adoption. Cannot praise them or the overall CP organisation highly enough.

I now have the two best boys in the world thanks to this place. I adopted Romeo and Sooty (now Oliver and Harris). They are the most amazing pair and it's now all about them lol. Thanks to all the staff for the amazing work you do.

We've rehomed several cats from here over the years. Recently we became aware of a stray cat who had just had kittens in an abandoned garage. SSPCA couldn't help as they weren't injured. We called CP & they came out & waited until they managed to catch them. Very appreciative of their help.

I was actually very disappointed as I was shown one cat who wasn't suitable for me, so unsure why I was shown it. I was told there was two kittens, but I wasnt shown them. I had high expectations of this place and was dreadfully let down. I wasnt sure the woman showing me around knew what she was talking about. She kept repeating herself. It was quite bizarre.

I have visited the Cat Protection on two occasions and last year to visit with a group of people. I adopted a cat around 20 years ago and even then I was really, really impressed with the adoption process of the CP as they are very, very thorough in the process and rightly so. The group visit was amazing and we were taken around the whole area, all except the infirmary of course, for obvious reasons. They even opened up a few of the pens for us to let us nearer to stroke the cats. There are times when they turn up for work in the morning, and a cat has been left at the gate in its crate. They take it in and give it a home at CP. He made it very clear that a healthy cat is never euthanized. The man in charge went into detail why we had to dip our feet into a soapy tray that was a sort of disinfectant, making sure we covered every part of the sole carefully before went through the areas and about what they did in each of these areas. Some were 'nurseries' where they kept the kittens, and he showed us the outside area of the pens where the cats could have freedom to play and where their litter trays where located. The voluntary staff were tirelessly cleaning litter trays and feeding the cats. I was surprised and delighted when he told us that there were feral cats that came to the centre from the surrounding because they knew they would be fed there. They wouldn't come inside, so the staff would put the food outside for them so they dont go hungry. Now, if thats not true devotion to the cause what is! I for one believe Cat Protection deserve any help they get and that's why I donate every month to Cat Protection and I now I Sponsor a pen. God bless you all.
