We were put in touch with Katie after fostering our little miniature smooth dachshund, Minnie Moo. Aged Three.
She came to us with IVDD. She hadn’t had the best start to life and had terrible separation anxiety when I would leave the room. She also hadn’t been toilet trained.
The first session was brilliant and so much fun. Minnie enjoyed herself especially with all the extra treats. After just one session there was a noticeable improvement. And the more we worked at it the better Minnie responded.
Katie has the patience of a saint. She understands how dachshunds think and understands their personality. The training and advice is fantastic and easy to learn and follow.
Even after a few more sessions Minnie has started settling down. Her personality has started to emerge and she has loads of it. She makes us laugh and is super affectionate and loving. No surprise we adopted Minnie Moo. After all her hard work It seemed unfair to uproot her. With Katie’s help and training we are positive Minnie is on the right track to becoming a normal dog. (If there is such a thing, dachshunds being normal?)

I am a first time owner of two mini dachshund puppies that are now 7 months old. I have been very mindful of the breeds eccentricity and the difficulties in training them, that said I have toilet & crate trained them but was completely lost when it came to recall. I had used Katie's tips and videos on the dog codes website to help me with training I had done but felt I needed more help so I contacted Katie initially I was interested in the back to basics course you have a phone call prior to this to establish what it is you actually need, Katie was so lovely and I was immediately put at ease and felt as if I had known forever. We quickly established that I didn't need back to basics as I had already done quite a lot so Katie suggested 2 sessions with her for an hour and half to cover, recall, name recognition, leave, wait and loose lead walking. Well what a transformation, the training is over zoom you get the recordings, training reminders and you send regular videos of your work with the puppies so Katie can assess and help you, every step of the process has been amazing and I can't thank Katie enough she's amazing and her knowledge and patience is second to none, it's truly the best thing I have ever done, after getting the puppies obviously 😀 Thank you so much Katie, love Dotty, Daphne, Ray and Jan x

Katie was just lovely to speak to. She gave us advice that was easy to follow and with the daxies best interests. Previous trainers have been patronising but I found Katie to be confidence giving; reassuring and empowering to make changes to make their lives happier.
She is knowledgable and genuinely cares about the dogs. If you have a sausage, the dogs code is the place for you.
We had some behaviourial issues inc fighting to iron out. So far, so good- but I know I can pick up the phone again if need be. Money well spent. Thank you.

We have been working with Katie and the team on the Dachshund Accelerator programme. The programme has been interactive, fun, supportive and made a real difference to our dog and our lives with her. We have seen massive improvements in her reactivity, lead walking and confidence, we also feel much better prepared to deal with whatever circumstances arise.
We definitely recommend working with The Dogs Code, we wish we’d found them sooner and done the puppy classes when we first got her!

I highly Katie and the team at The Dogs Code. 5 ⭐️ just doesn't seem enough. Katie is a Daschund expert, she is so knowledgeable and understanding about the quirky breed we all know and love. Her expertise have helped Bertie my rescue Daschund and I so much. We're currently taking part in the Daschund Accelerator course, which is brilliant. To take part in the course from the comfort of your own home, with other owners experiencing similar difficulties, guided by Katie and the team is great. It's so interactive, with live sessions, on demand catch up, Facebook support group, booster calls and just so much support. Katie and the team are approachable, reassuring and supportive. There is no judgement at all, just a strong desire by Katie and the team to help us to unlock the gates of communication between us and our beloved Daschunds. You will not regret signing up to a course. I only wish I had done it sooner.

I turned to Katie at The Dogs Code after struggling with my reactive mini dachshund. He had been reactive from being about 7 months old and was now 2.5 years old. I’d tried a couple of different trainers, where I seemed to get good results initially but over time we were back to square one. I had lost total confidence in my abilities as an owner, thinking I must be doing something wrong. Right from the start Katie gave me the reassurance that I was a committed owner and she gave me the techniques to help my dog become calmer. By doing simple changes, firstly in the house, I started to see a difference. We then continued outside, and I eventually was able to walk him past other dogs with no reaction. Everything Katie advises just becomes part of the daily routine & doesn’t feel like training as such. I know I have a long way to go with my dog as his reactions can be very hit and miss, but having the knowledge from Katie means I know I’m doing the best for him in a positive way.

Katie is wonderful and has so much knowledge and wisdom. Our little dachshund lacked confidence and was very hand shy. He is now so much braver!

We went into training thinking Bernie had extreme separation anxiety, really not knowing the signs or differences between various levels of anxiousness. Katie quickly identified the reality was he wasn't as bad as we thought, we were just a bit lost and had been communicating with him wrong. From the start Katie gave us a realistic target, making sure we knew every dog was different and goals can't be rushed. She made us feel like we weren't alone and that it wasn't something we as dog owners had done to make him so anxious. It was clear by the success stories she knew what she was doing and this put us at ease... we had started to feel like we might be stuck indoors forever! We're now at a point where Bernie can be relaxed without us by his side permanently. we can leave him alone successfully 50% of the time of which we will continue to work with her to make progress. Above all he is a happier dog which is the most important thing. And we're massively grateful to have found someone who understands the quirky ways of a dachshund.

Really positive experience from the start, I am so glad I reached out and did a two month 121 programme with Katie who helped me so much to return my little boy back to his confident little self again after some setbacks with interaction with other dogs on walks. We are both now having so much fun together out walking again, having laughs with scent work and I feel I can read his signals much better now to judge his possible next steps and to keep him safe, which is incredibly invaluable. Thank you so much for all your support, guidance and help - what I have learned will last forever 👏🥰. I would recommend Katie and her programme/support to all, please reach out, you won’t regret it 😊

At the end of November our mini dachshund puppy was 6 months, and although she was an adorable addition to our household, we felt that it would be beneficial for us and Noodle (our dog) to do some puppy training. Due to Covid restrictions the only option available was online training. My partner had found The Dogs Code who specialised in dachshunds, so we decided this would be our best bet.
To be honest, I wasn't convinced that online training would be any good, but as there was no alternative we went ahead anyway.
Now, after 6 training sessions with Katie I can definitely say that the training has exceeded all my expectations. Katie's expertise and clear instructions made each session a success and taught us and Noodle a lot of new useful stuff. From walking on the lead, to focussing or setlle on a mat, we managed to teach Noodle the basics of a new command in one session and then discussed progress after we had practised in the days/weeks between sessions.
In my view online training is even better than a live puppy class, as it has the benefit of training the dog in its natural environment, without the distraction of a new place or other dogs. And having video recordings of the sessions makes it easy to review what we learned in the sessions, rather than having to rely on our and the dogs memory.
Another useful feature is that we were able to book the next sessions when we and Noodle were ready, instead of having to stick to a rigid preset schedule, and do the sessions at a time that was convenient for us.
Apart from all the expertise and training, it was also a great pleasure to spend an hour on Zoom with Katie. We had interesting conversations about dogs and a good laugh now and then.
So, all in all , I give the Puppy Classes an 11 out of 10!

We recently completed the online puppy course with our puppy Barney. As first time dog owners Katie really helped us, she’s so knowledgeable about the breed and after the 4 weeks we feel like we understand Barney so much more. The classes are so well planned with informative powerpoints followed by practical sessions and with loads of time to ask questions! Although it’s a bit of a shame that at the moment we couldn’t meet at physical classes it was handy that we were in our own homes as Barney was far less distracted and because of this seemed to pick things up really quickly. It was also a great way to meet other dachshund owners and share stories. Katie is so experienced, kind and helpful, I couldn’t recommend her more! One of Barney's favourite parts of the course was learning massage and relaxing! :)
M. R.
A great course and especially for first time dog parents like ourselves! An interactive and informative format with plenty of homework in between to keep the momentum going. Katie was also great responding to our many questions in between sessions. We'll be taking the lessons learned and continuing to improve Frankie's behaviour and also our communication to her. Would highly recommend this course to any Dachshund puppy's and their humans :)

The Dogs Code has been a really helpful and engaging 4 week course, we started with our dog (Joao) at 4 months old and we've worked through a range of techniques and exercises to help build stronger build with our dog. Katie has an extensive knowledge of working with Dachshunds, which means you get quality lessons that work straight away. I would highly recommend anyone with a puppy Dacshund to complete The Dogs code course to set up for a great relationship with your dog.

What a fantastic course for a first time dog mum. Katie helped us feel at ease and comfortable with training Daisy. I can't believe how much we learnt. I would do other courses for further training online. Thank you Katie!

Katie was recommended to me when i got my mini dachshund puppy. My puppy had been in a previous home where he was not treated well, and so i hoped to learn about how i can train him safely and ethically, even though he was older than other puppies in the puppy course that Katie offers.
Katie was very understanding and knowledgeable about dachshunds in general and my puppy too. We enrolled on Katie's puppy training course and i was very impressed. Katie was patient and encouraging throughout and i felt my puppy was safe in learning through techniques Katie taught. I felt especially reassured that her techniques focused on positive reinforcement, when other trainers include punishments and corrections, which i did not want to use with my puppy. The skills taught in the training, including sit, lie, wait, recall and quiet, are exactly what i needed to toilet train and walk my puppy safety, and he was able to pick up the learning very quickly. I can' t thank Katie and her colleagues enough for a fantastic training course and i would recommend this to any new dachshund owner. .
K. B.
The Dogs Code Puppy training course was the best thing we did with our puppy during the first COVID lockdown in 2020. We learned a lot from the course - from understanding more about dacshund in general, to socialising with other puppy parents (although virtually) to enabling our puppy to learn useful skills. Katie has been brilliant - she's so passionate about the subject and always keen and willing to help. Highly recommend.
K. D.
Thank you so much Katie for everything!! Without you Bruno would still be reactive nightmare. He has come miles and with your help we have been able to rule out medical issues too. We still have a lot of work to put in but a little bit everyday is making a massive difference. I know it’s a lot of money but I spent thousands with no results, wish I had come to Katie first. Again a massive thank you we couldn’t of done it without you. Love Kelly and Bruno Mars

We recently completed the puppy course. The course was delivered fantastically by Katie and has really set us and our pup up for the future. Katie’s knowledge and advise was amazing and no question was too much. It was also a lovely way to meet other dachshund owners and talk about our experiences. Highly recommend the course and we will be looking out for all future courses with The Dogs Code.

We highly recommend Katie at the Dogs Code. She is so kind, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. We attended the puppy training course with our little one and we learnt so much in the 4 short weeks. It was great speaking to other Dachshund owners and sharing experiences. Katie not only helped with training but all aspects of puppy care and home life. Despite my initial concerns of not being able to attend physical puppy training classes due to lockdown, I now strongly believe it worked out for the best and we benefited so much more. We will definitely attend more of her classes in the future!

I would like to recommend the 4 weeks online puppy course that we have just finished with The dogs Code. As a first time dog owner I knew nearly nothing about puppies and felt very insecure. Katie has given us the tools to understand better our dog and her needs. I felt very comfortable with her teachings as she only uses positive reinforcement, she is very patient and always available to answer our questions. We have been training Murphy with her techniques and with time and patience they work!
I really feel she has helped me to understand better my puppy and taught me how to train her to be a happy family dog.
Thank you Katie!

Binky and I started training with Katie via zoom when Binky was about 12 weeks old. From the offset I found Katie’s knowledge on the breed to be remarkable. The groups were the perfect size, despite each group member training their puppies at the same time, Katie took notice of each and every member and was able to give constructive advice on the spot. Not only that, but Katie was more than happy to offer advice on a one to one basis through email or WhatsApp. I particularly found the ‘settle’ training effective and 6 months on we’re still continuing to build on the foundations taught via the dogs code training and would thoroughly recommend this to any future dachshund owner 😊

We made contact with Katie whilst feeling seriously exasperated with some of the behaviours our dachshund was displaying. We had talked about things ahead of seeking a trainer and we agreed that we would try every avenue, but if we couldn't improve his social anxiety and interaction with others, we'd potentially need to consider alternative options.
We started working with Katie in March and have just completed 8 sessions with her, the difference has been absolutely amazing.
We started with a dog that quite frankly needed an ASBO. Persistent barking - at EVERYTHING! Unfriendly to visitors - friends and strangers alike, intimidated and agitated towards runners, people on walks and his general responsiveness and manners were incredibly poor. Walks were stressful and completed under duress, causing a lot of anxiety for our entire household and neither he nor our older dog were enjoying life as they should.
8 weeks on, the barking has significantly reduced/improved, he's responsive and understands boundaries, his self confidence and security in himself has notably improved. All our relationship dynamics with him and each other during walks etc has significantly improved, he walks on the lead politely and we've had friends round to the garden and he's settled down within such a short time frame and even made new friends with them.
It sounds dramatic but we genuinely feel like we can embrace a bit of our original lifestyle, rather than being focused around the dog. The guidance, structure and support has meant we are all working from the same page to achieve our goals and it's been more effective than we thought possible across an 8 week period. I genuinely started and didn't think we'd be signing off and happy at the 8 week mark, but here we are!
We weren't seeking perfection, there's ongoing work to be done but we did need help to understand the tools to manage his behaviour and to make things safe and enjoyable, which we have absolutely achieved with Katie's help.
Now we just need to find a new therapist for our weekly offload 😂. Thanks so much Katie - super grateful!

Katie was absolutely amazing in giving my husband and I confidence in training our 5 month old dachshund. As first time dog owners, we were apprehensive about his barking and loose lead walking and Katie was nothing but professional and approachable in giving us guidance. Nothing was too much trouble and Katie went out of her way to ensure we were adequately prepared! She responded to videos sent to her on Whatsapp of us training our pup and gave us valuable feedback to help improve our skills. Being a dachshund owner herself, she has a wealth of knowledge to do with the breed and made us feel like we had the skills to continue all her good tips moving forward. Would recommend Katie without a doubt for anyone looking to train their fur baby!

Katie is a great trainer. I joined one of the online puppy training courses with my dachshund pup Eric. Really enjoyed the training. Katie is so professional and friendly. It's great to have specific training for Dachshunds from someone who knows the breed and can give good advice and support

We recently completed the 4 week puppy course. I was sceptical as felt that outdoor training might be better. However as Katie said, without the distractions, in calm environment with no pressure was definitely a better place to start. The insight covered on 'theory' was valuable as well as the direction and focus that we gained through the practical training sessions. I genuinely feel that we appreciate our puppy and his great progress so so much better- this quite possibly would have past us by without Katie's help and guidance. It has taught us to recognize certain patterns and behaviours including unrealistic owner expectations! Thank you Katie, Merlin is practicing every day although the stay & blanket are still on the hit list!

During Lockdown 1 in 2020 we did the online puppy course with The Dogs Code and it was delivered really professionally and we were able to set the basic training skills with our puppy to set the foundations of good discipline. We also got some brilliant advice from Katie to help us work on separation anxiety and learning to leave the puppy alone at home. Katie took all the fear factors away from us and gave us bite size advice to adapt and try.
P. W.
We attended the back to basics course, Katie was brilliant and the support in helping us and our little Daschund move forward with managing barking, loose lead walking and other things has been brilliant. We were apprehensive about training via zoom but it was better than face to face and we have a recoding to look back on to remind us. Katie explains things clearly and is non judgemental making it fun and safe to learn. She also has her own Daschund so she gets their little quirks and behaviours, finally we would highly recommend anyone doing one of her courses they have really helped us thank you

I asked katie for help with my anxious 1 year dachshund, who has been struggling going on walks as she’s frightened of other dogs and people.
Katie has helped me get a closer bond with my girl by showing me lots of easy techniques.
They are really helping us and with lots of patience and practice, we’re able to start to enjoy are walks again.
Katie is full of knowledge and has helped me get my confidence back.
I would definitely recommend her for help or advice with any of your fur babies.

I can not thank Katie and The Dogs Code enough. When I contacted Katie in Oct 20 I was feeling like I had failed my little dachshund Max. He seemed such a nervous little one and we struggled with barking and visitors entering the house. Max also used to struggle on walks with people and other dogs passing. Katie explained why Max was behaving in this way and it all made such sense. Working through Katie’s techniques I have increased my confidence and the relationship I have with Max has improved considerably. I can now read Max and understand his behaviour much more. We are enjoying our walks a lot more, and I can even stop for a coffee! I have techniques to use when we have visitors and Max settles much quicker. In general Max seems much more content. Doing the training in our own home has been brilliant. We have then taken the techniques out and about and built up Max’s confidence in the community at his own pace. Please if i you have a dachshund that you are struggling with, reach out to Katie and The Dogs Code. You will not look back!

We would recommend Katie at the dogs code very highly. We sought advice after our 2 year old dachshund became nervous and reactive around other dogs. Her positive training methods have left Dylan and ourselves feeling a lot more confident and given us the tools we need to know how to behave and react in any given situation. Thank you Katie from 2 happy owners and 1 happy hound

Katie is an amazing trainer and listener. We met her when things were very stressful, after a house move, and the barking behaviour had got too much. Katie is so calm, considered and caring. Over 4 sessions we have learned so much, retrained ourselves and our pup and have ended our training feeling equipped to cope and very much in love with our dog. We have fun things to do together and the bond is greater than ever. Thank you Katie for helping us as much as the dog. It has been a pleasure. Rachel, Hywel and Reggie xxxxx

I was going to wait until our involvement with Katie had come to an end to write this review , but that could be a while yet so I didn't want to wait that long! Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars on here, when Katie deserves so much more than that. Myself and my Daxie have been working with The Dogs Code for around 6 months now, and boy what a journey it has been! Full of so many ups and downs.. And where I tend to focus on the downs, Katie makes sure I remember the ups. We still have a long way to go, but now I see a light at the end of the tunnel. If it wasn't for Katie's continued support, guidance and encouragement I honestly don't know where we would be. Her positivity, knowledge and rewards based training is the perfect combination to help stressed out dog owners.. And if you have a dog with true separation anxiety you will understand how much this can take its toll. Katie is always on hand to listen and offer kind words when I feel like giving up and many times has she been able to pull me out of a hole. She never gives up on me and this enables me to never give up on my pup. I cannot recommend Katie enough and I look forward to a positive future ❤️

Katie and all her knowledge and experience has made the world of difference to our minature dachshund Pippa!
Pippa is three and we were finding her barking at everything and anything to be a problem, especially when leaving her in the care of others. We came to Katie feeling a bit in despair on what to do as her barking meant we had started to run out of favours with our dogsitters/family. Katie made us feel re-assured that Pippa’s behaviour (and ours) was all something we could tackle together. Having tried dog trainers with Pippa as a pup and not having much luck, we decided to find someone who specialises in daxies and Katie and the Dogs Code is a must for anyone with a dachshund.
You honestly can’t underestimate talking and getting coached my someone who truly understand the breed and makes you feel all problems can be faced and nothing is too big or small to discuss and tackle.
It has meant some small tweaks in our house and the way we interact with Pippa but the benefits are huge - we have a calmer, more relaxed and confident doglet.
Honestly couldn’t recommend more highly - you won’t regret it and if anything like us, wish we had known about this training 3 yrs ago! Thank you so much 🐶
T. C.
Katie's advice has been invaluable to us over the past few months. We adopted via Dachshund Rescue and Franco arrived with us in a highly anxious state with very little socialisation. Katie was able to quickly and calmly identify the issues and arm us with a whole range of techniques that have helped transform his behaviour. We couldn't recommend her more highly - she has been a complete star. Dog and owners couldn't be happier !
M. P.
I really can’t recommend Katie enough. I did the puppy classes with my two dachshunds, it really set us up well and we’ve been able to take the pups with us everywhere and trust them to behave well because of the training. Katie is incredibly patient, kind and knowledgable. The course was honestly so much fun and you learn so much about the breed!

When we found The Dogs Code we were desperate for help for our dachshund Fred. He was bitten by a dog when he was about 8 months old and from that day he was petrified of every dog he came into contact with. He started barking at everything on walks, including people just walking past us. Walking him or taking him anywhere was a nightmare, before he was bitten he came everywhere with us but this stopped and we were devastated! So we found The Dogs Code and booked in a consultation with Katie.
It was the best thing we ever did! We learnt so much and gained so much knowledge on how to train from Katie. We could see Fred transforming week to week. Katie didn’t only help with the training but she was so supportive anytime we needed help or advice, she gave us the confidence to change Fred’s behaviour and the way we saw training.
It’s now been over 3 months since our training sessions finished and we couldn’t be more proud of Fred and how far he’s come thanks to The Dogs Code and Katie. We can take him to coffee shops and walk him with no stress or worry that he’s going to bark the place down. He can meet dogs with confidence, and he’s even started to play with other dogs which we never thought would happen again.
I can’t put into words how grateful we are for Katie and The Dogs Code. The training has given us our happy little sausage back who we are excited to take for walks again! If you are thinking about joining The Dogs Code, please do it! Even months after finishing the course Katie is still a text away for help and advice, or just to give updates on our progress.
Thank you again The Dogs Code and Katie!

Katie was so friendly, knowledgeable and all round amazing. Clear and concise presentations with great direction and feedback. Never felt that any question was to much. I've been given the confidence to go away and have a stronger bond with my pup whilst developing his life skills and manners. I will really miss the class but know Katie is there even though the 4 week course is over. I'll definitely recommend to anyone who has a Dachshund to use the DogsCode and I'll be keeping an eye out for any future courses for Duggie. Thank you again.

We enlisted Katie's help in preparation for the arrival of our daughter. Our dacshund boys often behaved erratically - Katie not only taught us invaluable ways of keeping their attention while out on walks, but also helped us to understand where their behaviour derives from. We made several adjustments around our home as per Katie's advice and we are still using her techniques 18 months later. Proud to say my boys are now on the most part calm, happy and living harmoniously!
K. S.
We worked with Katie as we were experience a lot of barking by our dachshund and weren't sure what to do next. We'd seen two different behaviourists over the years, but had never made much progress. After one session with Katie we felt equipped with practical tools and understanding to tackle the problem and saw improvements almost immediately. A second session really cemented everything for us. Training is an ongoing process with your dog, but we've felt really supported during the process and Katie is still contactable for any follow up questions. I can't recommend the service more highly!

Our Mini Dachshund, Nelson, really loved this course. He’s come out of it more confident, focused and obedient. But for us, what really made this course special, is Katie. Her dachshund knowledge and calm demeanor was so reassuring for me, as a first time dog owner. She’s really taught me how to communicate with my daxie and I know he really appreciates it 😉 The puppy course is super complete and well structured, and it's so much fun too! I recommend The Dogs Code to any puppy owner. I bet your puppy will benefit loads too!
C. F.
Katie has been absolutely brilliant and instrumental in helping us understand our pups and giving them a good and happy life 👍 thank you so much! 😊 …
J. G.
We enlisted Katie to help us with our puppy’s barking at pretty much everyone and everything. Katie was patient and gave us some excellent tips to help, and now we honestly have a different dog. Popcorn is much happier and so are we. We also covered “Wait”, recall, and getting her to settle in pubs. Definitely money we’ll spent. Thanks Katie.
s. b.
I cant recommend The Dogs Code highly enough, although we have only been on the training course for a few weeks we have already learnt and achieved so much. Mabel is now 18 months old and I've struggled with her behaviour but with guidance from Katie and her team Mabel is showing real improvement and enthusiasm for her training. Just amazing.
S. A. L.
Katie is very professional and her dedication to training each and every Dachshund is clear to see. Katie's methods are kind and evolved and her wealth of knowledge and training tools is impressive. I would not hesitate to recommend Katie.
C. M.
We can’t recommend Katie enough! When we reached out to Katie, we were feeling so stressed and we really felt that we would never be able to train our boy Chip with any success. But, Katie has provided us with all the tools to successfully train our boy. He has made such amazing progress and we are so proud of him and ourselves. Katie is also very supportive and was always on hand if I was having a “meltdown” or had any questions. Thank you so much for helping our little family! ☺️ 🐶
L. S.
My puppy Pablo and I have recently completed the puppy course! We loved it! Katie was so helpful and her knowledge and personal experience with Dachshunds made it even better! I highly recommend working with Katie!
A. S.
Katie from The Dogs Code has really changed my relationship with my Dachshunds. No more stress and frustration on walks or at home, they now walk without barking at everything and can be trusted off lead to return!
They are more settled at home and they look at me and listen which they never did before. It was hard work but Katie made it fun and simple to understand.
Highly recommended!! Thank you!!

Myself and my husband are first time puppy parents and Katie made us feel very much reassured about it. It’s a shame we couldn’t have met in person for classes but during the current climate, I don’t think we missed out at all. The sessions were professional with lots of information but also plenty of time to ask questions about our dogs. We loved hearing how everyone else and their sausage dogs were getting on and going through the motions together. It was great having a class specialised with dachshunds. We still keep updated over Instagram so we’ve made some lovely connections along the way too! Twiglet loved having the lessons in the comfort of her own home (sometimes falling asleep!) but we really took on board all the advice given and feel she’s learnt so much with skills that will see her through til she grows up. We couldn’t thank Katie for all her hints, tips and knowledge enough! Thank you!
E.
I cannot recommend The Dogs Code highly enough. We had an insecure sausage who decided that the answer was barking and lunging at anything he was not sure about. Working with Katie boosted our confidence as owners that we were doing the right thing and also the confidence of our little man who is now getting more consistent guidance from us. Owning a Dachshund has its ups and downs and Katie helped us see the the positives we were taking for granted!
F. M.
we enjoyed the puppy course of katie so much! it gave us the necessary tools to believe in us as new dog owners and to set the best behaviour principles for out little puppy. we were able to teach our dachshund so much within a month and it really paid of! thank you katie! we highly reccomend you!
B. W.
Very good and tailored to our needs. Listened to our challenges and worked with us, it is not just about training the dogs but also us so we work well with the dogs. Since the sessions the dogs have both been a lot better, still a long way to go in some areas but we have the structure to get there.
M. B.
Katie is great, her teaching methods are kind, positive and easy to follow. Due to lockdown we were able to train with her by Zoom and her follow up emails, webinar and YouTube videos have given us great extra support.
G. A.
Loved our training course with Katie - She is so friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. We hope to do another course soon as our doggo definitely misses his weekly sessions!
S. B.
We absolutely loved Puppy School with Katie and learned so much over 4 weeks. Training online worked brilliantly, no stress. Would highly recommend.
S. S.
I would happily recommend Katie with any Dachshund training need. She is extremely knowledge, patient and fantastic to work with. Thank you from Sally and Tattie!

Genuinely a huge lifelife. Cannot overstate enough how fantastic this course is. I would recommend this to anybody. I thought me and my pup would be living a life of solitude but the course has helped more then I thought possible.

Katie was amazing - knowledgeable, supportive and really responsive. Our rescue dog came with some complex issues and Katie gave us great training support and we’ve already made really great progress - we have a different dog. Katie really understands dogs. It’s this kind of knowledge that makes the training kind but effective. We can’t recommend her enough.
