I have 4 dogs that I take to Leicester Dog Grooming and each time they have absolutely loved it! They always come home smelling fresh and amazing!!! My bulldog is very nervous and not the easiest of dogs to handle when it comes to having his nails cut but Bernie did an amazing job with him and managed to do all of his nails! Would not go anywhere else. Highly recommend! Friendly staff, knowledge is second to none!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My dog never really likes being groomed, so it’s great to find a place where she skips in quite happily, rather than having to be dragged! Bernie always responds quickly to messages which is great. Do book well ahead, they get busy.

Incredible service from Grace and her team. They were able to get my Labrador Bailey in at super short notice, and he looked and smelt great after, with it being so quick too! They also trimmed his nails really well too and bailey left super happy! I have already booked my next appointment and would definitely recommend to others!

Our border collie loves Bernie. She’s always had a rapport with him and does an excellent job. He looks gorgeous when she brings him home. We first met Bernie about 12 years ago when she groomed our neighbours dogs, who were quite elderly. She did a brilliant job with them too.

Good dog groomers are hard to find and book in with. I eventually managed to book in with Leicester Dog Grooming after being recommended to by another busy dog groomer. Bernie and her team are brilliant and always look after my fur babies as if they were her own. A friendly, professional and welcoming service. Would highly recommend. Even though she is 11 miles away from me it’s well worth the drive. Thank you, Bernie!!

Can i start by saying I am so impressed with this groomer!! If i could give ten stars i would!! I have a giant breed and he can be a handful sometimes and at 60 kgs he doesn't do anything he doesn't want to do... my dog is like a different dog since his last groom with Bernie! She obviously has a lot of patience with him which he needs as he has had a bad experience previously (rescue dog not any groomer I've taken him to we don't know full background) he is not so bothered with the brush anymore, hes still very head-shy and doesn't like his paws doing... but he had a great time at this groomers and clearly has no inhibitions about going there. 8 weeks later he still looks lovely and his coat is so much more manageable!! This only means we have chosen the right groomer! I take my hat off to any groomer that can get him to go near a brush or a pair of scissors. I was refused by so many groomers and quoted ridiculous prices Bernie was not only reasonably priced but also very patient and got him looking velvety and soft :-) not easy when he wont stay still for 5 minutes :-) she is the best you will get!! Well done Bernie and her staff!! See you on Saturday!!

After loving my taster day with Bernie last year I booked on the 3 week intensive course which I have just finished. I found Bernie to be an excellent teacher enabling you freely to ask questions and the course is hands on at the start and throughout the course with Bernie showing you how to groom and guide you on the process to carry out the various breeds grooms properly with the welfare of the dogs paramount. I found Bernie to be friendly and approachable and this made for a lovely environment to train. Bernie has great patience and her love of dogs and knowledge shines through. The lunches are superb and I left the course feeling I had made a friend that I could ask for ongoing help with my new dog grooming venture. As Bernie is continually updating her skills with new techniques I am sure I will be attending further training. Thanks again Bernie.

This year I completed my 3 week dog grooming course with Bernie at Leicester Dog Grooming. From day one of training it was hands on right through to me completing. Bernie is an absolute brilliant teacher who is so patient and caring and really wants the best for everyone who trains with her. No one leaves until they are fully confident, I felt at home and comfortable and any questions I had Bernie was more than happy to answer. Whilst looking for somewhere to do my Dog Grooming course I wondered if I had picked the best one as there are quite a few but hands down Bernie is the best. Its lovely to know that once your course has finished Bernie is still on hand if you ever need her (which I have on a few occasions) At the end of my 3 weeks I didn't want to leave but I've left with lots of fabulous new friends and a friend in Bernie and we all keep in touch to this day! Been to Leicester dog grooming for12 months now. My dog beau is a zuchon and Bernie as worked on getting beau ready for cuts since beau was 16 weeks old. This groomer listens to what cut u want and never does what u don't want. (Exactly what it says on the tin ) No one should be scared to give her a go,as u will not be sorry. After a not so pleasant experience with another grooming service I was nervous of taking my dogs anywhere. A friend recommended Bernie, and what a truly pleasant surprise. Everything is done in the open, you can stay with your dogs, and everyone there is bright, friendly. and pleasant. Cannot commend them highly enough. My dogs came home with me clean and happy, with wagging tails, ready for the next smelly roll somewhere - we barely managed to get past the stables :-)

I have been taking my two dogs to Leicester dog grooming for the past two years and I have to say Bernie is fantastic. I had tried a number of other groomers before finding Bernie and they had left my dogs not looking at all like I wanted. After getting my dogs groomed by Bernie, I have never looked back. Although it is a 30min drive away it is defiantly worth it for the standard she delivers. I have a 2 year old westie and a one year old Scottie and she always cuts them perfect to their breed. Both the dogs love to go and Bernie always greets them with a cheerful hello and a tickle. I never have any worries leaving them in Bernie’s capable hands. She even buts a little bow on their collars and they always smell fabulous!!! So if you’re looking for the perfect groom I would look no further Bernie is reliable, listens to what you actually want your dog to look like and really seems to love what she does!! Thank you again Bernie for keeping Mitzy and Boo looking soooo lovely x

I am Sorry to say this But NO ONE and I MEAN NO ONE Should go anywhere else I have been taking my two Shih Tzus boys to Leicester Dog Grooming for the past 4 yrs i do have to travel 40 miles but for what Bernie does and how professional she is its worth every penny as long as i have the boys they will not be taken anywhere else for there little pamper sessions. Completed my training with Bernie in March this year and thanks to Bernie I'm now running a very successful Business "Wigston Dog Groomers". As soon as I went to the free taster day, I knew we would get on. I loved that training is taken serious but still able to have many laugh 's along the way. Selina & Jen Bernie 's colleague's are also amazing and we had lots of laughs along the way. Bernie made me feel welcome from the off and was brilliant with her training techniques. I've not forgotten a thing!! Loved lunches too in the gorgeous house where we got to chat about training and network with other groomers for support. Afrer a very bad experience at another Dog Groomers I decided to take Tinker to Leicester Dog Grooming at Keyham, what a difference, Bernie and the girls were so friendly and professional, they took time to get to know my dog and gave her lots of fuss and re-assurance. We were delighted when we collected her to find her happy and looking lovely. Tinker will certainly be going again and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Bernie was brilliant she wasn’t just my trainer she were a friend, was patient with me while I where getting the hang of things even when I made mistakes. Buster is an old boy n can't stand for very long but he absolutely loved his pamper. He came out so happy n looked n smelled lovely. Thanks for a great service, although it was a reasonable price , we did spend Abit of time n money in Buttercups cafe, so not such a cheap day out. Would defo come again to both, groomers n cafe.

A lovely countryside setting with a very warm welcome given by the owners Bernie and Ali. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. i have a kerry blue terrier a breed that can be difficult to groom and i cannot praise leicester dog groomers enough my pooch has a great experience and comes away looking fantastic and relaxed i have had poor experiences with other groomers but now i have found leicester dog grooming i wouldn't go anywhere else
