We've been twice now and Max has had a great experience both times. The first session we spent getting him used to being in the water as he was terrified of swimming, but by the second session he was jumping in and swimming around and having a great time. He loved the available toys, especially the Kong ball which is what got him jumping in!! There's also a bowl of water available and a fantastic dog drier in the changing area which also helped with blowing his loose coat out in this warm weather. Would recommend to anyone! Prices are very good, especially if you want to bring extra dogs or people with you

We took 2 dogs for a swim and literally had the best time ever! Couldn't believe how neat and tidy the facilities are considering it's a pool for dogs........we will definitely go again. Can't recommend it enough. Life jackets for the dogs are provided in all sizes, toys, washing facilities and products and the best dog hair dryer known to mankind!!!! The ladies that run the service are so friendly and chilled out. Absolutely loved it! Thank you!!!!!! X

This was great for the dogs and the family. You get your own private hour, it's clean and tidy, there's a changing room for after your visit with shower, with dog shampoo, toilet, doggy hairdryer and hairdryer for yourself. They even provide the dogs life jackets. This is a well thought out business that has its clients at its heart.

This was a nice place, and pretty easy to find thanks to the signs. Sadly, our dog did not enjoy the water because he slipped in by accident, but I’m sure this place is amazing for confident swimmers and even not-so-confident swimmers thanks to the life jackets and toys available! We booked the pool for the full hour and had half an hour in the changing room. The only thing I’d recommend is a sign by the changing room door to let the pool users know not to go in there, as it’s a bit awkward when they’re rattling the door trying to get through when you’re trying to get dressed.

PERFECT FOR WINTER PUPPY SWIMS! Excellent idea and brilliant facilities. Shown around and given amazing tips for getting our boy in the water for our first pool visit. He had a great time, toys available, various life jackets in different sizes. For a dog pool, very clean!! Already booked again, amazing for winter swimming!!

Our 3 dogs absolutely love it here and recommended it to so many friends, very understanding staff as I have a people and dog reactive collie which having something like this to go to means he gets to enjoy dog things without any stress, very welcoming and friendly we would come more oftern if it wasn't over an hours drive away but we thoroughly enjoy it every time and always leave with 3 happy tierd dogs. Always lots of toys a good choice of life jackets and the pool is lovely and warm then changing facilities have everything you need for you and your dogs even have a dog blow dryer which is very handy to get the worst off before the drive home, can't wait for our next visit

I’ve been coming to Soggy Dogs since it first opened with my Springer Spaniels. It’s really important for me, for my dogs to be as fit as possible so they can compete in our chosen dog sport, Obedience. I use Soggy Dogs to swim them safely & sensibly, all year around but particularly over the winter. As a company, I’ve not met one so responsive to feedback and keen to consistently improve as Soggy Dogs. The owners are continually looking for ways to improve the experience, safety and service offered which I think is fantastic. The sessions are reasonably priced, the staff are always welcoming and very accommodating. During Covid-19 especially, all surfaces etc were cleaned thoroughly. The equipment provided is of good quality and the owners have invested in better quality life jackets for the dogs regularly and replace whenever needed. Things like the dog dryer are of good quality and like the whole system the owners strive for the best quality service and experience. We have *so* much fun here! Dogs love it, we always have a great time and the dogs always return home happy and tired. Thank you for offering a great experience :)

Lovely private pool, really well organised and warm welcome. The owners met us at the front and talked us through all the safety measures as it was our first time. Dog life jacket and toys provided. We and our 5 months old Labrador puppy loved it! We will definitely be returning!!

We had such an amazing time. Absolutely fantastic experience. We have a one year Labrador who has never been swimming and he loved it. He was jumping in. Diving off the ramp onto my partner. Such a clean place and absolutely pleased with the service. The lady who runs it was lovely, reassured us, shown us everything. So pleased we did this. Such an incredible experience. We loved it. We took our 1 year old lab for his first swim and although he spent most of his time running about and shouting at everyone, we will be back! When he was swimming he had great fun and loved the toys. The life jackets for both dogs and people are great. The facilities are really good and the owners could not have been more welcoming, accommodating or helpful. Very reasonably priced for private hire. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

I have been coming here for some time and just want to negate some negative reviews that I understand have been left. The ladies here are so kind generous and helpful. They go above and beyond and ensure my two dogs have a wonderful visit. They are always trying to improve the facilities but it is to be understood swimming pools are notoriously difficult to create perfection because of their constant moist and steamy air. They do not have the budget of a Bannatyne gym and that shows, but for what we pay I feel we get an amazing experience. They provide toys, poo bags, life vests for the dogs and even inflatable collars which my dogs are really grateful for. At the end the changing area is spacious with powerful hair dryers for both dogs and humans How lucky we are to be able to swim with our dogs. That as an experience is so special for me. I hope to keep coming here for many years. Thanks ladies you do a fine job, please don't change... Remain casual if that's your wish, you are not some big conglomerate. PS They even put up an outside paddling pool for your dogs whilst you wait your turn to swim in the July 22 heatwave!

Really good experience! Lovely and relaxed! Our lab loved being able to get in and out on his own using the ramp or steps. Lots of toys and having the life jacket gave me a little piece of mind. Changing rooms where good, some lovely products for the dogs and very handy having the hair dryer. Looking forward to booking again! Worth the hours drive, that's for sure!

We've been visiting Soggy Dogs for around 9 months on a monthly basis, our dogs love the pool and it's great for their health. The ladies that run the pool are polite, friendly, informative and helpful. They really take their time to value your custom. The pool is lovely and warm, brilliant size, great selection of toys, good quality safety equipment and plenty of room in the changing area for two large dogs and two humans. Plenty of car parking space, and a grass area for the dogs to wee before and after. Their Facebook page is regularly updated, keeping you informed of any changes or announcements made by Soggy Dogs. This truly is a little gem of a place, to have some quality time with your dog having fun!!

This is an amazing place. We loved our time there and had great facilities such as doggy toys, life jackets etc. We instantly felt at ease as the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The changing rooms were great for dogs, with a powerful hair dryer, sprays and clips to keep them in the shower. The changing rooms were chilly so a heater would be amazing.The only thing I would recommend would be a sign when you get there so you know where to check in as we accidently walked into the changing rooms! We would definitely return and have already booked in our next session.

Rusty absolutely loves his swims here, so much so we do the 45 min drive every 2 weeks to take him. The ladies who run it are absolutely lovely, the pool has always been clean considering dogs are in and out all day. There are toys, life jackets, fresh water bowls and a shower to where you can dry your dog off afterwards. Absolutely no complaints from us, thank you.

We took our golden retriever puppy today for his first proper swim, the lady was very friendly and welcoming, the pool was clean and warm, life jackets were available for both dogs and humans, it’s a very relaxed environment, we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, there was toys available as well as water in bowls for the dogs, treats, doggy shampoo, showers and a blaster were also available, which was very useful for my fur baby as he cannot be towel dried, there was also added extras that just made the experience even better, such as doggy spray, shower gel and a hair dryer, we will definitely be returning! The only “fault” for us is that they’re obviously well loved as they’re always fully booked, so we’ve booked three sessions in advance :D

Today was my first visit with my puppy Harper, from the moment we arrive we felt so welcome. We asked for assistance, the staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. My pup was given the best guidance and after minutes was running and jumping in, she really enjoyed her swim with did it with confidence. I will most definitely return, swimming with dog was great and I highly recommend a session here.

I loved the swim but unfortunately my dogs didn't. I believe it was down to them not being used to going down steep ramp and steps. I would recommend that if it's your first time ask for assistance and use the life jackets as this would be a better first experience

Don't know what planet the previous reviewer is on.... Wet dog!?.it's a pool for dogs?? It's not gonna smell of roses lol. Toilet is there, I used it! This place is absolutely phenomenal, we were really surprised and grateful for the deep end, we have a XXL large breed dog and it was perfect for him!! And given his huge size we appreciated that there actually we're life jackets in his size! Amazing. Stanley absolutely loved all the toys and balls provided.... He was beyond excited and couldn't choose which one!! Really hope to visit again soon, xxx Oh and thankyou!!!!

There is room for improvement, starting with not making the pool deep, my dogs wouldn’t get in because it was so deep! Even I being just over 6ft couldn’t touch the bottom at the end. There could be a toilet, I was really desperate when I got out the pool and the cleaning room, oh don’t ask, it smelled disgusting like wet dogs! The last thing which I wasn’t bothered about was the woman which was sitting down when talking, it’s unprofessional, really. The rest of it was good and also maybe add some things to entertain the dogs to get them in the pool. Still decent place.

Omg! What an amazing experience! We took out GSD (16mths old) for the first time- he hated it to begin with but then following some amazing support from the owners/staff- we saw him embrace it! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be booking another session very soon!

Took my pup for his first swim and he loved it here. The owners were friendly and welcoming and the pool was lovely and warm. There is a ramp as well as steps into the pool which is a positive. It might be just me but I found the building fine yet it wasn't very clear where to go once we were in the car park. But that doesn't detract from anything as the owners were friendly and the facilities were great. Would definitely drive over again in the future.

Dog thoroughly enjoyed it, and the owners were lovely and helpful. With life jackets for our dog and plenty of toys. In the changing room there was a proper dog hairdryer which was super handy very easy to find also. Wasn’t the cleanest. Pool area was full of dog hair in and outside the pool. Changing room could do with a lock as the people after our session who were in the pool opened the door and popped their head in whilst we were changing as they wanted the loo. Which was awkward. Once we got home we had clumps of other dog hairs in our bag which was a bit gross.

Absolutely fantastic! An amazing hour swiming with our dogs. There is a good sized pool, with a shallow end complete with ramp for the dogs to get in, and a deep end that's more than 2m. We all loved it, and I was pleasantly surprised with the facilities, etc. The best fun we've all had together for a long time. Will be back.

This is such a great facility. We have been conservatively managing my dog’s possible cruciate injury for a couple of months now and the support that Hannah and Morgan have given to us has gone above and beyond that of taking him for hydrotherapy. He is a nervous dog and although he’s still not getting in independently, he is visibly happy to arrive and has gone from puffing, panting and splashing to now pootling up and down the pool to fetch the toys. They also manage my neurotic parenting behaviour really well too! The post swim facilities are exactly what you need; easy access shower, fantastic dryer and a little squirt of pooch perfume!

I find this place amazing, I go most days for a session with my sprocker, Alfie just can’t get enough. The 2 Ladies that run it are so knowledgeable, caring and Professional. We are generally the last session of the day, but even so it is always clean and the temperature is always spot on . We never feel rushed and would recommend it to everyone . Thanks .x

We went to the soggy dogs swimming pool for the First time today and we totally enjoyed it. The pool is clean, kept in good condition, the surrounding area is clean, lots of life jackets in different sizes available on site as well as plenty of dog toys. The drying room is also very spacious equipped with shower, human dryer and dog blaster. It could do with a grooming table / top to put your small dog up to dry as drying small dog on the floor killed my back. All together a very good experience and we will be back for sure.

We visited today and I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. A no rush service that our dog loved. The pool and the shower area are very clean and spacious. We travelled 1 hour to visit soggy dogs and we will be back. It was worth the drive to see how much fun our dog had along with the excellent service and price.

We have been going to Soggy Dogs for a few months now and my puppy loves it. Its such a good way for him to exercise and it tires him out. The owners of Soggy Dogs are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. They have just installed a new non slip floor around the pool which makes it perfect for all dogs. It is a warm clean environment and the shower facilities are superb too! I would 100% recommend this great facility to any dog owner! See you again soon guys!

Just got back from here and it's the most amazing place. My shepherd loves water but is afraid to swim, we booked a half hour session and after some coaxing she was in and by the end, she was coming in by herself and playing with us. The pools great, it's clean and theres everything you need for your dog. Afterwards the shower and changing rooms is spacious, clean and got everything you need and more. The people there are also amazing and friendly. Recommend so much and we will be going again for sure!

Very impressed with this service. Hosts were very polite & proffesional talking me through their facilities. The amenities themselves are top notch, very clean large sized pool with multiple sized toys & harnesses for dogs of any size. Non slip matting around the pool and ramp for safety and ease of use.One thing I can't stand is cold water & this has got to be the warmest steamiest pool I've ever been in (30 degrees). Very nice attention to detail with things like full water bowls on poolside as swimming is very exhausting for dogs. Nice quiet location with full use of facilities without other dogs or humans interfering inbetween. Ideal for working dog or reactive dog owners! To top it all off they have a grooming station in the changing rooms which is good enough to bring your dog along just for a wash no swim if you want to preserve your own bathroom 😅. The area out the front is gated off to allow your dogs to do their business without worry. Can't reccomend enough & will definitely visit again. Better than any tiny hydrotherapy pool for miles.Thank you 😊

Absolutely fantastic facility with helpful and informative owner. Kindly gave our 2 children a box of chocolates each as it was nearly my daughters birthday. Pool is excellent with everything you need for dogs and children to be safe and happy. Great value aswell. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be visiting again.

lovely warm swimming pool, very friendly owners. accomadated my shepherd with ease. its great being able to swim with the pups... only down side, is that its steps to get in and out, not great for the more geriatric dogs. and can be very slippy, i have to make sure my pups not running about like a loon. its good she listens well and slows down when asked. but cant say all dogs wont go too loopy and slip.

Absolutely brilliant, lovely people and the dog and kids had a fantastic time, all the kit you need to help your dog swim, going again at some point. Only thing to say, it's not worth taking any marks for it, is the pool gets deep quick so just be aware.
