For 2 years we struggled with our 2 rescue dogs. They were terrified of everything, people visiting the house, traffic driving past, parked cars, bikes, children, other dogs. They would either react with aggression, or they would try to flee. Walking them was a chore, living with them was a chore. So after having a 121 session with Danny We decided they needed intense training so we booked them in for a residential course with Robbie. We had no idea if they could be helped but hoped for the best. It is now 5 weeks since they came back to us and i can't describe the difference in them. They are calm, non reactive, so far we have had 100% recall, people pop in and out the house without any reaction. Until they came back we didn't actually realise the stress we were under with their behaviour. Now we are completely contented, walking them is a total pleasure and they haven't reacted or chased our cats once. I could not recommend these guys enough.

Having spent the first couple of years of my dogs life paying positive only trainers to teach me to to bribe my dog to get good behaviour out of him, I was recommended to Danny. Within minutes he had removed my dogs muzzle and he was walking nicely next to me. Within 20 minutes he brought in another dog. After the initial momentary kick off Danny taught me how to get my dog to ignore the other dog. Danny teaches you how to manage your dog. Helping people to get the best out of their dogs is what he does well. You will see an improvement on your first assessment.

Danny and his team have saved our dogs life. Our working line GSD became aggressive towards my partner and I at 7 months old, resulting in numerous bites, alongside severe lead pulling, jumping and biting at us to initiate play, resource guarding and kennel aggression. We couldn’t find a trainer that could give us anything helpful other than to ignore the bad behaviour. We had our initial assessment with Robbie back in October and later a residential stay with him. It’s now April and our lives and our dogs life has completely changed, he is a delight to walk and play with, he has such a fun personality and we are able to enjoy living with our dog. He loves Robbie and is definitely excited to see him when we have 1:1 sessions to develop other skills. Danny and Robbie were our last hope as we really thought we would have to rehome him but we’re concerned a rescuer would PTS due to his severity at such a young age. We had an initial assessment today with our GSD Eddie today. He is a reactive 2 year old. We have had other trainers all who let us and Eddie down. Incredibly with Lewis today he is a different dog already. We had family round for a bbq a couple of hours after the assessment. This was planned before the assessment he was totally cam and slept under the table. Normally he would try to steal food and be aggressive towards the and we have to crate him. Not today, even the family couldn’t believe his behaviour. I can’t thank Lewis and the team enough. It’s early days but an incredible start. We went to Danny’s team last year and worked with Robbie. Within 5 mins of just chatting and letting Mags just sniff about doing whatever she liked he knew what she was all about and how to help her and us be better. She’s a nervous dog and will always have that in her but mostly stemmed from off lead dogs charging her from a young age out on walks and us not knowing properly how to handle it. This resulted in her being mega nervous walking past dogs. By using his dogs as ‘helper’ dogs to create a scenario Robbie explained/showed us how to handle it and get her mind in to a better space by showing her that we actually have this and being by our side is her safest option. From consistent work following Robbie’s advice she now walks to heel quite happily forever engaged on and off lead. We continue to build her confidence up and relationship going to Dannys well structured group classes and have met some great friends through his community he’s created ❤️

Danny and his team have changed our lives. We brought our rescue 7yo GWPxGSP to Unleashed last year after being failed by purely positive trainers - the change in him has been incredible. He was previously reactive to visitors in the home, reactive to dogs in the street, unable to be left alone for any amount of time and his prey drive was so high he stalked children - without proper training he was an accident waiting to happen and we were at a loss. He now enjoys off lead freedom, we have our freedom back and can have visitors in the home and my 5 year old nephew can now walk him - previously this was unfathomable, we have even taken him on holiday. We have been so impressed with the training and the support of the group that we have recently introduced a young rescue GSPxLAB to the home and our boy has taken to it so well and is setting a perfect example! We have trained our pup with unleashed since the week we got him and now at 9 months he also enjoys responsible off lead freedom, walks to heel, is well behaved in new environments and is a pleasure to have around. We will never be able to thank unleashed (and our trainer Lewis!!) for all of the support and guidance to get us to this stage and we will continue with our weekly classes as we love to continue our learning and of course be part of such an amazing group of supportive and friendly people who have the same thing in common - improving the lives of dogs and their humans ! So grateful to live so close to the centre too, thanks Unleashed and Danny - where would we be with out you all ☺️

Second time we've travelled across the country to come to Unleashed, this time with a different dog of ours. Robbie has been brilliant, both dogs who have seen him we've been able to make huge progress with (second dog only being on day 3 of new training routine and already she showing us she can be where we want her to be with work put in) any issues we have I know Robbie will come back to me with how to progress. After visiting and seeking advice from other dog trainers in the past we now wouldn't trust anyone other than Unleashed for advice regarding our dogs. I met Danny and Robbie in August 2021 as I had been having massive problems with my lurcher’s nervousness and reactivity not dogs, people, bikes, horses etc.. after one 1:1 session and homework to practice every day I have a different dog. We met Danny when we were considering the unthinkable. We rescued our dog (Staffie x American Bull dog) and are his third owners. We could not walk him in public because of his very aggressive reactivity towards other dogs and anything with a pulse! He became a nightmare. We visited Danny and within 20 minutes he had the respect of our dog and from then on, our dog has got better and better. Cannot recommend the Unleashed team enough. Before training with Robbie and Danny I could not let my Lurcher off the lead and had to constantly avoid other dogs due to her prey drive and reactivity. Now I can walk her wherever I like on or off lead, regardless of any other dogs or animals around. This has completely changed our lives and made walking Peanut so enjoyable for me and her!

I've had an amazing experience with Unleashed. My dog is aggressive with people and dogs, so much so that she tried attacking Danny as soon as we got there and tried to bite Robbie at the beginning of our session. Robbie was amazing and gave us so much advice and went into detail with everything. We have made so much progress since our session. I think its great value as one company wanted to charge me £600 for a 2 hour visit! I cannot recommend Unleashed K9 enough, they are truly exceptional and in my opinion the benchmark of their industry. So I took my 4 month old stubborn Frenchie to see Danny to help me get the basics under control. Danny is hands down a solid, dedicated true professional in his field. Had our first consultation with Danny earlier today, very impressed. Our Mali had no focus and was easily distracted, Danny had her walking to heel within minutes and had her under complete control around cars which had previously been impossible for us. After many unsuccessful dog trainers .. and there are so many that say they are dog trainers but really they have done a quick online course and think they know it all ! We came across Danny , within 30 minutes Lewis had our 2 (extremely stubborn ) old tyme bulldogs walking nicely and paying attention to us . I cannot believe how different and calm my dogs are . These trainers really are the best in the business , they know how to get the best from your dog and us as owners . Danny is just brilliant. Knows dogs and knows people. No nonsense, just gets the job done. I have a big dog, giant schnauzer x poodle that is dog aggressive. I had a one-to-one session where Danny showed me how to have him walk under better manners and I’ve attended many group sessions where the learning never ends, and witnessing other people improve the behaviour of their dogs. Danny and his team are absolutely brilliant at what they do. Having seen a couple of different balanced trainers that had taken me so far, but not truly addressed the issues at the heart of my dog's behaviour, I was a little sceptical about what Danny could do for me and my dog. From our first session in December I've felt like I'm making huge, positive progress. Danny pointed out that some of foundations for training hadn't been laid properly so took things right back to basics, and since then we have been making sustained progress. The weekly classes are fantastic for getting your dog used to being in close proximity to other dogs and lots of people. I've had 2 1-1 sessions and just booked my 3rd. I encourage anyone who's having trouble with their dog to get in touch with Danny!

We have had a cane corso for four years now and confident in our abilities, we got another one a year and a half back. Our older dog has been poorly, so we did a lot of research and decided to get second from one of the top breeder in Italy. He came in and settled in fine, however within a few days he showed signs of aggression towards my mum and wife. We were working with a trainer who said it was probably because my mum was nervous (but my wife was quite confident at the time), but he started showing aggression for pretty much everything around him including wall and floor. He was given all the attention, exercise, training by the textbook and yet he would get aggressive at family members for no clear reason (food or no food involved). We also spoke to the breeder many a times if there was any history of trauma or mishap but were reassured that there was no such case. Long story short, only I could handle him (but no trust anymore) and it became a matter of keeping everyone safe from him. He would whine and bark for hours (7 hours straight once) if ignored and would especially show aggressive behaviour after waking up. We couldn’t have family or friends at home, or be at peace ourselves. We ruled out potential medical issues, and saw 6-7 trainers no less only to be repeatedly told that he is a naturally aggressive dog beyond saving needs to be put down. Someone told us about Danny and going from London to St. Helens was a no brainer if it meant saving our dog. We were apprehensive if the tall claims of rehabilitation would mean if there would be any force involved and if our dog would be shut down. Meeting Danny for ahead of registering inspired confidence and we decided to leave him for the boarding programme. We received daily detailed updates, and in all honesty were shocked at the progress—we did not believe that a dog like him could be in a room with other new dogs, let alone strangers and even acted as a “demo dog” for assessing/training other dogs like him. My wife also saw hope in a life with him and that helped our family massively. Danny and Lewis were honest from beginning that this dog is not going to turn around to become the friendliest, but that we would be able to safely co-exist with him. The changes are massive, beginning with us being able to trust our own dog to him also being able to trust us. We can have friends over, they don’t meet him but he doesn’t start barking or getting aggressive at seeing a friend come in. He has also started to allow him to be groomed, become better at walks, can jump in and out of the car if needed (which he would just not do before), listens to commands, eats off the hand, puts on a muzzle. and most importantly, has not shut down at all. He still has his guards up and will challenge if you let him, but we now have a proper understanding to be around him and also be relaxed. The list can go on, but truly our dog would have been not just given up but put down if it was not for Lewis and Danny.

We went to Danny after having tried and tested various techniques advised by different trainers all of which failed. One "trainer" even suggested that our dog may have been starved of oxygen at birth. Our Labrador is 7 years old and a fabulously well behaved dog in the house, but on the lead she was like an animal possessed. We had been with Danny less than 30 minutes and he had identified our problem and come up with an effective solution. It was amazing to watch and worth every penny. We are by no means at a perfect point but we are 95% of the way there. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend or use Unleashed again, the knowledge, compassion and ability these guys have is admirable.

I’ve been to numerous dog trainers before and never been satisfied! I spend 45 minutes with Danny on a assessment and I’d learnt more than I have ever done before with anyone else. CANNOT recommend Danny and his team enough. They are all extremely knowledgeable and are great at relaying in information so you fully understand what is needed to be done.. We went for our assessment with Danny him self about 10 months ago now, not looked back since.. In this time I have learnt so much about dogs and training. I had a dog that would chase anothing thst moved, it resulted in my partner being bitten. I now have a well balanced and extremely controlled dog, that is solid in all situations on AND off lead. Danny and co. Have a real passion for rehabilitating dogs with ingrained behavioural issues as well as training family pets to be well rounded healthy happy dogs. What more is there to say? No gimmicks, no long drawn out community process (unless community works for you, then they can accommodate there too!). A solid and proven framework means you have confidence in the processes at hand and need never fear running out or herbal, low fat high soya medicated doggy treats on your walks as a way to bribe your dog as the process is all you and your dog. Anyhow, the fact they're a decent bunch, makes it all the better! :)

I’ve had many dog trainers since my 18 month old presa cross was 20 wks. I’ve had a police dog trainer (who advised I re home my dog ) a behaviourist and I was a member of SDT. I had a telephone consultation with SDT. I was advised that I use a prong collar on my dog for dog aggression and pulling on the lead and mouthing. So I did. Unfortunately because I was using this tool incorrectly I was bitten. My dogs behaviour did not improve using a prong collar it only made him worse. His dog aggression was worse. I booked in with Danny at Unleashed K9 services and within 20 mins into the appointment he had my dog walking to heel and walked him past another dog with my dog only paying attention to Danny. He then taught me how to use the prong collar CORRECTLY. Walking him honestly felt like I was walking a different dog within 20 mins of being there. I was in shock. If ANYONE has any issues with your dog that you think can’t be fixed PLEASE contact Danny and he WILL correct any issues. It doesn’t matter how many trainers you have had in the past, or if you have been told your dog can’t be fixed or that your dog needs rehoming. He WILL correct the problem. He knew where I’d been going wrong within 5 mins of me being there. I’d been given the wrong information, which was causing more problems!! He is AMAZING!! Can’t thank him enough!! Avia

After two years, 7 trainers and over £3000 in training fees, with literally nothing to show for it I was beginning to despair at ever seeing any improvement in my Belgian shepherd Ted. He was extremely reactive towards people, dogs and cars and so I was unable to have him off the lead as I had zero faith he wouldn't attack someone or would simply run off. My opinion of dog trainers was as low as it gets. "Positive only" charlatans with zero clue and only too happy to take your money, promise the world and deliver nothing. After giving up hope and resigning myself to the misery of having to do my 20 mile hikes with Ted on the lead for good, I stumbled across Danny on facebook and could see straight away that he was different. No BS, no mincing words and waffling, just straight to the point. Danny achieved more in 10 minutes than those other 7 trainers did in two years of food bribes, lavishing praise and all those other positive only "training" methods. Within those 10 minutes, Danny transformed Ted from a lead pulling, aggressive dog who would literally pay attention to anything other than me, to one who only had eyes for his handler and nothing else. When Danny had one of his other trainers approach him to shake hands I was sure Ted would react and I braced myself for the worst. To my amazement Ted didn't even look at him, let alone show aggression. I can't express my gratitude to Danny enough, hence this essay of a review! Anyone who has experienced the misery of owning a dog like mine and having no hope of things changing will understand. I can only advise anyone reading this to book an appointment with him and be prepared to be amazed.

Unleashed k9 services are a 5* company that have have gone above and beyond, the training team have a no nonsense approach to owners dogs and anyone in the middle they simply get the job done! As with anything they can train a dog but ultimately it's owners responsibility to continue working using methods being taught. I have the up most respect for all the team and I've met some great like-minded people on the way my journey continues with unleashed k9 services and I would recommend them to anyone serious about dog training. Residential training has been another experience that I can comment on and the results we're amazing! I tried everything possible it didn't work Unleashed 2 weeks later complete different dog!!! 100% for the better. My 6 year old GSD has been very reactive and aggressive towards dogs and strangers since he was about 14 months old, barking, snarling, lunging, frothing at the mouth! He’s a big lad and it’s been really hard holding on to him at times. I’ve been doing a lot of research on dog trainers over the past few months because I’ve had enough of this thuggish behaviour. I’d had a trainer previously who became a good friend but the dog grew to respect him and not me, so I felt it was time to try training with someone new. Most of the trainers out there seemed to be the Purely Positive type and I knew there was no way on this earth they would be able to fix my boy with their softly softly methods. Purely by chance I stumbled upon Unleashed online. I read through all the reviews and began to watch Danny’s videos on balanced training. Everything he said made sense, he’d dealt with hundreds of big dogs with similar issues to my boys’ and there was evidence to prove his methods, (something I found sadly lacking of the PP brigade!) I contacted Danny and went over to see him for a 1-2-1 assessment and I have to shout loudly that this guy absolutely KNOWS HIS STUFF!! He tells it like it is and gets to work on the issues you have straight away. He spent time listening to me first, then explaining clearly why the dog behaved the way he did and where I was likely going wrong. He gave me options about the different ways to proceed, which I made the decision on, then he showed me how to properly correct this bad behaviour and communicate effectively with my dog, letting him know I won’t accept it and showing him how I want the walk to go. My dog understood it real quick and within 20 minutes I was leading him calmly past people and another dog, and for the first time ever, my boy looked chilled out walking nicely next to me. It was like he was saying ‘Finally! thank god for that, I can relax!!’ We still have a way to go but thanks to Danny I’ve seen, and I’m actually achieving, the result I was looking for, and I now believe in my ability to have this scenario on every walk, by putting into practise the things Danny has taught me. It’s a 100% recommendation from me! Don’t waste your time and money on any trainer that can’t actually evidence that they know what they’re doing, or even talking about! Thanks Danny!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Danny is straight to the point but explains everything in a way that it’s easy to understand and in a welcoming manner, the knowledge he has from over 10 years of handling dogs is extremely impressive and I would highly highly recommend him to anyone with any and all canine issues big or small. He helped my dog in about 10 seconds(no exaggeration), and after trying to resolve them myself for 2 years it’s almost offensive 😂 My dog was walking next to One of his protection dogs in high energy play mode whilst staying calm and keeping his eyes on me at all times, within 20 minutes. He set us up with a plan for the following weeks and I’ve really put the work in to make sure my dog sticks to it and the results are SO worth it. He’s so much more relaxed in and out of the house and I can’t thank Danny enough. Had lesson with Robbie on Monday, after my initial assessment end of Nov, Robbie was great with my girl a reactive gsd, ( rescue ). With in few mins he had her walking to heel and listening to him, he explained about her reactivity and and how to help her control it. Came home with homework and it's been 3 days and she hasn't put a paw wrong , not out and about yet , long way to go but what he said to do she is doing great , even with farm dog barking she listened to me more 😊😊. Glad I have found them, just wish I was nearer, 210 miles round trip, ...but worth it. Can't wait for next lesson in 4 weeks.
