A. S.Zara is absolutely brilliant! We have a cocker spaniel puppy (just finished lessons at 4 1/5 months old) and unfortunately had a bad experience at a local trainers in Gainsborough which was for hunting dog breeds. It was very strict, far too stimulating being outdoors for our pup and we never got help when struggling due to large class size.
My husband found Zara and she has been great! Her classes are smaller in size and indoors meaning she can come round to you and give you the attention required and you can ask questions if needed. If somethings not quite working she has a number of other options to try. There's also breaks for the dogs so they're not getting over worked / over stimulated.
Even if your pup knows a few commands already it's still great as Zara goes into detail as to why we do certain commands and how it can help the pup when applying it to outside.
We've travelled to Lincoln to do the classes and haven't regretted it. Zara is very kind and patient and made us feel very comfortable from day 1. I highly recommend her.

I have used her services over the past few years, and have seen a fantastic benefits with both of my whippets who are both anxious and reactive with different triggers so this can make life interesting!
We’ve had 121 to help tackle with some reactive behaviour and had a personalised plan to follow; attended the Rapid Recall Course, as well as the Reactive to Responsive course. Zara has always been available should I have any follow up questions and been more than happy to tweak the games and techniques to suit my whippets and situation. I learnt so much from our sessions, but more importantly my whippets have enjoyed the games we have learnt through Zara. As we have incorporated these games into our lives I have seen them develop in their confidence in new situations and our relationship has grown from strength to strength.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Zara if you need some help with training your dog, or just some guidance to have the best relationship with your dog. She has a wealth of knowledge, experience and resources to help your dog become more confident and enjoy the best of life.

We've used Zara to train our rascal pup from when he was 10 weeks - she has a really positive way to train and our Gordon Setter pup who's now nearly 2 has learnt so much using both online and in a venue training with other dogs! K. M.Highly recommended Puppy Power class. My VERY lively and over enthusiastic maxi-cockerpoo puppy has become manageable following Zara’s wonderful classes. The classes are kept small enough for individual attention to each puppy and their owner’s particular needs. Zara has lots of experience and her good common sense and advice are just what is needed when your puppy is bouncing off the walls 🤣🐶
My puppy is a much better behaved dog following the classes. 👍

I. A.I can't recommend enough Zara and her service. I am a member of her FB groups and using her insightful advice on dog behaviour and training. Also in terms of her business commitments she has always been at the tops, responsive, timely and accurate. I used her online Zoom classes and although living far away in another country Zara was very insightful, patient and also comprehensive about me changing the timing at least twice. H. B.The Reactive to Responsive package was the perfect combination of knowledge and skills foundation. The generous time allocated to the initial zoom meant we could discuss Florence in detail and that I could start to understand the concepts. The 1-1 sessions were invaluable to learn management and techniques and give me as an owner confidence. Florence is now able to cope with a class situation which hopefully will take us from strength strength. Cannot recommend Zara highly enough, calm, capable and knowledgeable.

I have an adult Romanian rescue dog so was worried he might be difficult to train but this wasn't the case. J. S.I have known Zara for many years and she has always given me excellent advice and help with my reactive dog, but because we live so far away we have never been able to attend any of her courses. During lockdown she set up some online courses via Zoom, so we finally got to go to Zara's classes! The courses were great fun and so informative. Zara combines training and games so dogs (and humans!) can learn new skills whilst still having fun. I highly recommend Zara, she is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, especially with reactive dogs.
J. G.Zara is helping us with our 8 year old reactive rescue who is also noise sensitive and very anxious. Zara deals with us as a team and helps us probably as much as our dog. She is very patient thank goodness, and we are seeing improvements although we understand that this will be a slow process. We currently attend meeting with manners classes and have 1:1 sessions with Zara and the handsome Arthur who thankfully is just as patient ! Highly recommend Zara to anyone struggling with their dog!

Zara taught us some really helpful training aides which we now use daily to help keep Mabel occupied and out of trouble. I would recommend this course to anyone with a puppy as it’s very useful on a day to day basis

I did this alongside local puppy training, but having someone that knows whippetsand their oddness/traits/etc really helped us understand our pups thought process. We are now entering the terrible teens but we keep going back to the basics that we learnt just to reinforce everything. We did the online course and despite technical issues at our end Zara made sure we received all the information and even offered a one to one if we struggled. T. H.My dog Betty and I attended a Whippet Wonders workshop on Zoom to work on recall. As I live in France and haven’t managed to find an educator for Whippets, this was just what we were looking for! We learnt a multitude of games, in only an hour and a half, it was super well organised and animated by Zara. We received documentation by email shortly after the session explaining everything we’d learnt as well as a cute certificate. I really do feel that this session has had positive effects on Betty and myself and I can already see a massive improvement in her recall and her behaviour in general. K. M.I have been working with Zara for a year now with my German Shepard and Husky cross. I could not recommend her training and wealth of knowledge enough, No matter what the query or advice I ask she is more than happy to help out with more than just your stock answers.
From going to a range of different classes that she hosts, from basic training to more advanced things and also having some 1 to 1's that she offers, I can say that she has a very individual approach to her training style and I'm still yet to see her treat my dog's and another dog the same! She is fantastic at adapting for your dogs needs and I have been shocked with how quick dog's pick things up thanks to this approach!
If anyone is looking for a trainer, whether it be the basic stages of training and building a healthy relationship with a rescue or a puppy, to behavioural issues. No matter the breed Zara will help!
J. G.Excellent service and assistance with a timid, health challenged, and reactive dog. Attended Puppy + Adult Foundation Classes, as well as 1:1's. Zara always had the dogs own character and its ability at the centre of the positive methodology of training. Great outcomes were achieved with my Miniature Poodle. Now, another journey begins with an entirely different breed/character/age puppy and I feel confidant Zara will continue to provide the exact same high levels of training and interaction we experienced with Betsy, a few years ago. Returning to the same trainer TWICE should speak volumes as a 5* recommendation!!

K. M.I really recommend Zara, she helped me out with our Whippet puppy Melrose when we were having some problems. Her 1-2-1 sessions were really helpful and there were loads of great training handouts afterwards. She also checked in with me on a couple of occasions afterwards to see how we are getting on.

C. O.A fantastic site run by a lady who really knows her subject (and whippets)! I 100% recommend her to anyone with a new whippet pup or a challenging adolescent 😁. The lessons I’ve learned from her are already starting to work and she’s made me feel like I’m not alone with my puppy training which can be quite stressful at times.

I noticed a difference after the first One to One session with the way Spike deals with situations when on his walks
He was first assessed with several different easy training processes to see which class would be the most suitable for him
Continuing this training at home and on his walks , he is engaging much more with me instead of constantly being on high alert and a lot less reactive to dogs he went out of his way to react to previously! The training continues...
It’s also good fun too, whilst watching your dog learn new skills :)

S. D.Zara has an affinity with dogs. She can read dogs, their body language and behaviour, and show you how to work with them, not against them. She is very patient and calm. Our dogs have benefitted so much and continue to benefit from working with her. There's nothing she can't help with!

My boys love having 121's and going to classes and have made such amazing progress, one of my boys can be frustrated, lacks confidence and is reactive, one of my boys is very anxious, lacks confidence, has separation anxiety and has had a lot of health problems, Wagging Wonders understands them both and has given us all so much more confidence and more skills to cope with everyday life, what makes me so happy is seeing how happy my boys are to go to class, how much they enjoy it, how much they love the trainers even to the point my little separation anxiety boy wanders off with them happily, couldn't recommend more highly,
