V. L.Fantastic and safe field, my boy loved it and had such a great time running and playing in the agility equipment. Lots of things for dogs to do, will definitely book again. Would also like to say a huge thank you to the staff in the shop, very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to discuss my pup's needs.
A. S.We visited yesterday for the first time with our two puppies and we loved seeing them running about and exploring safely and freely. They are tiny breeds and not yet trained in recall but it was great to be able to practice some training techniques on them without any worries or distractions. They even attempted some of the agility course which was hilarious as they are small. I will definitely booking to come back
a. n.I have been using this field sine they opened as it is my lifesaver. Having two unpredictable lurcher means finding places for off lead zoomies is difficult. This field and the facilities is fantastic. I come twice a week and my dogs simply love it. They even do the agility course now. The owners are lovely friendly and so accommodating. The keep the fields in pristine condition.. Can't praise them enough. 🤗👍❤️
A. G.Have used a few walking fields with a dog we look after who is very nervous around other people and dogs.
The two gate entry system was a real game changer as we knew we could dry him off and he would be safe from another dog coming into the field.
He loved the woodland walk and he even had a go at some of the agility. Lovely and peaceful first thing in a morning, would definitely use again
G. C.Took my 6month old Czech Shepherd Harley here for the first time Yesterday and she loved it, only down side was the wooded area is small, would be nice if was bigger, looking forward to be going back with Harley and my Mum's Dog Bishop.
C. K.As our dog is reactive to dogs this is the ideal place for her; she can run to her hearts content without the fear of meeting other dogs. The shop is also very good and well stocked, also, the staff are very friendly.

Last nights visit was so lovely, the field had been cut, the agility equipment moved around and it looked so inviting. Doggy VIP really do a great job of keeping it so tidy and just perfect.

Lovely wooded area and we enjoyed the basic agility equipment to continue our training in our own time. My only gripe is I can never book in time before it's fully booked! I can understand why though :-)

This field is amazing
we have been coming here from the very start when my first 2 girls where puppies and now we have grown to 8 we continue to use all of the facilities twice a week from the 11 acres of secure fields to the Raw food shop to the self service grooming parlor we would be so lost without this facility
also seeing the lovely chickens and geese that greet you on your way down to the field just love this place xx
not to mention the fresh eggs readily available

He is a reactive dog due to previous owners neglect so it is difficult for him to be around other dogs at the moment.
We travelled 50 minutes to get to Doggy VIP, absolutely worth the journey. This place is amazing,well kept fields and equipment Deisel was in his element, loads of room to run and be a dog.

C. B.We have a very reactive and anxious dog. We took her to the DoggyVIPfield for the first time yesterday. She really enjoyed being off the lead in a safe enclosed environment, with no other dogs about. The appointment procedure works well in that you have to vacate the field 5 mins before your time is up. That allows the next person to go in 5 mins early , so you still get your full time there. We will definitely be going back again.
S. T.Security was a big worry for me as we take small dogs, no need to worry its good. Friendly place with 3 fields, small ones with climbing frames etc, one medium and one wooded area.very pleased with cost and the fact that there is a dedicated daschund hour on Sunday.

C. T.Absolutely amazing! We have trouble with our dogs recall so he is not able to be off lead anywhere else yet. This gave him the chance to run and play without restrictions. Well maintained and safe environment for him to play and exercise.
The fact there is also agility equipment available made the experience all the better! Highly recommend and will most certainly be using again.

W. H.This is a fantastic facility, there’s enough space to really exercise a dog and enough different areas/agility equipment to keep them entertained as well. It’s a shame there aren’t more slots available (obviously there are only so many hours in the day), but that just shows how popular it is. I’d advise booking early to make sure you can get a slot. You won’t be disappointed. The whole area is completely secure so there’s no real chance of losing a dog.
R. R.This place is nice, safe and friendly! I have started taking my miniature dachshund Frank here every Sunday for the dachshund meet at 1pm and he loves it. You get to socialise with other dog lovers and the dogs get to socialise with others of their kind too! There's also sections with other 'farm like' animals to which is nice to see, and there's a shop for all of your doggy needs! I would definitely recommend!
M. B.Wonderful place for dogs ( and owners) to enjoy, So much space for even the biggest dog to run in and the woods make an extra interesting area for them to sniff around in - for my girls its their favourite area and all you can hear is sniff, sniff, sniff.
The agility equiptment is there for anyone to use during their booked times, then you have the wood and then the big field where total freedom from lead or coming to heel ( until time to go) makes it a doggy paradise.

T. S.Today was my first visit with two dogs in much need of exercise, we used the large fully enclosed field and it was brilliant. The whole area was secured by near 7 ft fencing with two strong locked gates. You access the enclosed area through another huge training field. Both areas had fabulous seated area’s that resembled opensided cabins. My dogs loved it and considering the heavy rain recently the fields were great a bit soggy in places but really accessible. Can not recommend here enough and people working in the area fantastic ready to give help and direction

L. C.Took my 2 staffs yesterday. They're both very boisterous & vocal dogs especially when they see other animals so I was a bit jubious about entering the field as there's so many animals in near by fields, (sheep, geese, horses etc) but I shouldn't of been worried. The dogs didn't give them a second look as they had so much space to freely run around in & each section was fenced off. I normally have trouble walking my dogs as bumping into other dogs is such a nightmare, I get pulled from pillar to post so taking them to doggyvipfields was the wisest thing I've ever done. Fields are massive, dogs really enjoyed it & I felt reassured & calm knowing my dogs were safe.
It was really wet & muddy, so id advise taking a spare change of footwear and a towel for the dog if you go when it's been raining.
Staff were absolutely lovely.
Absolutely great for the price.
Will be booking again in the future.
S. C.Love taking my dogs here, we meet there with the Merseyside Beagle Club and find that the facilities are great. Huge 11 acre secure field with a separate puppy area plus a hose to wash the dogs down with. Just a few yards from the Formby bypass it's really easy to get to (but don't turn right coming out, curiosity satisfied but what an appauling road tgat way). As far as I know other clubs meet there too.

The fields are well looked after and there are lots of water points available.
The fencing is totally safe too. One of our dogs is a very capable escape artist and tried really hard to get under/through the fences, but was unable to do so!

Customer service is excellent, they even let me get food after I turned up 20 minutes after closing time as I'd gotten mixed up with the opening hour's. Would recommend to anyone considering switching to raw.

J. G.I took my four old boys along to the fields, they had an absolute ball, They've not been off lead for a long time as their recall is poor due to being old their hearing and eyesight isn't brilliant. They were delighted to be running free.
The field was clean and access re offloading the dogs was safe and secure.

s. c.Wow staff are wonderful and very reassuring during this time of Covid. They even get your stuff for you if you ask... Id ignore any bad review especially in these times, how rude of that man, rules are being changed weekly for shops and people just won't understand. Great selection of brands in all different price ranges, loads of treats I especially love the JR Ostrich range which they have the whole range here at very good prices
C. 2.Excellent facility.. my dog loved every minute.. the field was waterlogged so wellies are definitely needed but didn't stop her from running riot. The field is completely secure and there is disinfectant available to spray the gate when entering and exiting the field.. would recommend and will be returning again.

S. H.We have recently acquired two mature lurchers from animal rescue and needed a safe space for them to let off steam. Doggyvip recommended . It was so safe and organised we believe it was the first time we had fully relaxed and not had dogs on lead . Dogs and owners had a great half hour with helpful staff around to help and advise.

D. D.The weather wasn't on our side on our first visit but my doggies absolutely loved it. Instructions beforehand were very clear and easy to understand. field is clean and great facilities. My yorkshire terrier is a proper escape artist and can happily say he tested all fences and didn't wriggle out!

Added bonus of raw food too which has put weight back on my old lurcher at last. Wonderful clean, secure field, fantastic service, easy booking... what more could we ask?
A. A.Went with our two dogs. One small mixed jack and recently rescued XL bully. Perfect place to give them freedom and let the big fella off the lead. Would recommend, very good area to train and loads of space for play. Wellies a must as a bit muddy after a few days rain but don't worry there is a hosepipe to wash the dogs feet before they get back into your car. Brilliant.

A huge, very well (high) fenced field where there’s nothing for them to crash into .... the 3 of them had a wonderful run. It was so good to be able to relax with them off lead with no distractions or fears of them disappearing over the horizon!
The fields are very well maintained with safety a paramount feature. Very easy to book online.

C. C.Absolutely great place to take your dogs for a lovely safe off lead runaround and beautiful fields and scenery. Great for Rescues and all sorts of dog related shows and charity events as well. I've been a weekly visitor for over 8 months with my 2 rescue greyhounds and 1 of them has quite a few behavioural issues with other dogs due to her past history so this is a great place for her. I enjoy the fresh air and scenery and chill out time too....and the owners are lovely and big dog lovers too....so glad i found this place !!

H. P.I visited for the second time yesterday, with my dog, Lady loved it, I would recommend 'Doggyvipfields' to everyone. I kept her on her lead for the first few minutes as we walked around the first field & she was let loose in the wooded area. She was really excited & sniffing everywhere, I was able to encourage her to do the weave poles & a little hurdle but am sure that was more a fluke than talent. I am booked back in tonight & will use the larger field, so she can run free. I am so glad I was able to book again with you guys & look forward to ongoing future bookings.
I am really impressed with the effort & commitment you put in to running the bookings & promoting social distancing & effective health & safety, especially during a Global Pandemic.. Very impressed - I now class myself as a 'regular' x

G.Having already visited with a previous dog, I already knew how fantastic these fields are, so I decided to take my little terrier over, who I can't let off lead normally as she is not only a typical terrier (down a rabbit hole at the shake of a lambs tail!) but is also nervous aggressive towards other dogs. It was just brilliant to watch her running like a little jack rabbit!.....secure in the knowledge that she was completely safe & secure. Many thanks to Sam & Paul for keeping these fields in such brilliant condition....it must take a lot of hard work x

M. C.A huge space for your dog to go mental. Ours loves it. There are three areas: a massive mostly empty field, a large field containing training equipment and a small copse. The ground is level and the grass is soft so it won't damage your dog's feet. You can also buy 6 fresh eggs for £1 laid that day by the hens near the entrance. Highly recommended.

We took 3 of our dogs, one boisterous Staffy and two Collies who don't really like strange people or dogs coming into their adventure times.
With the awful weather we had not been able to visit the beach as usual, and our regular walks were getting too muddy, and the dogs frankly were bored. So I looked this place up, we booked it online, easy, it was confirmed and a very detailed email came to give us the instructions.
We booked an early slot and unfortunately the rain didn't give us a rest, we had wellies and a coat for the wimpy Staff so we braved it.
And when the dogs realised we hadn't healed them, or got the leads out despite being in a field with sheep and chickens around to round up/scare, and the little Staffy was allowed to run with them too. Their little faces lit up!.
They had tunnels and ramps to use and someone had even put huge puddles in there for them to run through!.
They were having so much fun we didn't even move out of the first field. So we will be returning soon for further adventures VIP style.
And although we were absolutely soaked, we were relaxed because it was safe and we didn't have to watch out for people approaching or our Staffy adopting himself of to another family.
Overall a fab experience and much more fun to be had. Highly recommend.
R. L.It is what it says its a dogs day out well worth the few quid, just let your dog off its lead and let them run wild with the other dogs. Dog shower available aswell as is needed before you let you furry friends back in your car 😂

L. H.This was our first visit and my lot thoroughly enjoyed it. I have a Vizsla suffering from severe anxiety so public walking can be very stressful. The secure field enabled me to walk all 4 pooches together and feel completely safe. Lots of room to run, smells and country noises for the dogs to enjoy. I found it easy to find, great Info video and set up as you can reverse directly to the field which was clean and lush greenery. Definitely recommended thank you

N. H.I absolutely love this place. Only downside for us is that it's 45 minutes drive each way so has to be a treat for our huskies otherwise we would be there all the time. Our dogs love it and it is spotlessly clean and Sam is really friendly. Would love to take them on the agility side but huskies being huskies would be over the low fencing which is why the far field is fabulous for us as we feel extremely safe there with the higher fencing. Great place take your dogs if you haven't been you won't be disappointed.

O.If u have a dog it's a must especially if ur dog dose not get off the lead much I have a jack Russell who never gets off the lead as he doesn't listen or come back but here it's perfect well enclosed and very safe in very nice surroundings with sheep and horses we take are 2 year old daughter and she loves to see are dog running and see the horses and sheep in the other fields next to the two that you can use aswell as a small wooded area

L. W.We took our lurcher here yesterday and she and the children had a great time. It's definitely the biggest of the secure fields that we use and it's great that there is agility equipment and a wooded area for extra sniffs. There are also some very thoughtful touches like a paddling pool for the dogs to cool off in and water bowls dotted about.
I would say for those that have "a jumper" you may need to be a bit careful in the front field as the fencing is only 4ft, (which is stated on their website) and there are sheep and horses, (and at one point a barking terrier) in the adjacent field. I had to put our dog on a lead a couples of times as I was worried that she was showing too much interest in what was over the other side of the fence. Probably not a problem for most, but maybe worth a mention for those of us with reactive dogs. The field at the back with 6ft fencing is great for her though as I'm pretty sure even she couldn't get out of that one!

J. R.I have visited the Doggy VIP Field with a friend and her dog. The fields are well maintained and totally secure. There is a double gate system for parking. There is a toilet in the static for humans should they need it. A hose is available to rinse muddy dogs after using the field. It is a family run business and they are all lovely. I highly recommend Doggy VIP Field to anyone looking for a safe place to exercise their dog.

J. R.I have been looking for a secure field to exercise and train my dogs for some time so to find the Doggy VIP Field so close to my home was fantastic. Booking online is easy, prices are reasonable and there is good communication from Sam. I have visited many times now and find everything clean and well organised. There is good parking, the fields are flat with lovely grass and totally secure . If you have a reactive or nervous dog this is the ideal place to take them for a relaxing off lead walk/run.
It is great that the Doggy VIP Field in Formby now has a shop selling Raw Dog Food. I was there recently and stocked up with food for my three dogs from “The Dogs Butcher”. It is great to buy my raw food locally because I can pick it up saving on the delivery charge. There is no problem parking. Also I can buy weekly instead of in bulk saving space in my freezer! I am sure other people using the fields and those living locally who feed raw also welcome the opportunity to buy their Raw Dog Food at Doggy VIP Field.
Sam, Paul and Dylan are lovely people and their family run venture deserves to be a success.

During the plan I collected my weekly shop on visiting the vip fields everything boxed ready to go.
What more could you ask for any questions answered it’s a joy to visit I love the range too lots of new exotic treats!!
After four weeks I got a follow up email and more options to help with costs!!
My rawfood bill has come down by a third since going to VIP!!!
