Excellent.. A very hyperactive and stubborn German Shepherd pup.. difficult to walk on a lead. Within a few minutes with Martyn, she was completely transformed. An obedient well behaved puppy. Back from her first session, a few hours at home now and still as calm and collected as she was this morning during her lesson. Amazing.

We came away from our first session with Martyn with so much knowledge and confidence in handling Otto the Rottweiler who we are hoping to adopt. We’ve been very unsure about how to move forwards with welcoming him into our home but after our training session we feel much more confident that we now know how to do it. I can highly recommend Martyn to help you with any breed of dog or any problems you maybe having with them . Martyn is extremely knowledgeable and patient, he takes the time to listen to you and evaluate your dog , he understands that dogs just like us each have their own personality and quirks and that there isn’t a generic way to train and help your dog reach its full potential. He’s helped me with a variety of problems with different dogs over the years and even if it’s been the same “ problem “ with different dogs he’s found the best way to help that dog understand what is needed from them to push onto better things He also takes the time to explain to you what is happening, why it’s happening and the ways to help , he’s not afraid to go back to the drawing board if plan A doesn’t help and will work his socks off to help you both become the great team your meant to be

Went to Martyn with my pup who’s really reactive to other dogs and people, within 10 minutes he was like a different dog. Martyn is really knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, gave us loads of information and really knows what he’s talking about. Martyn has the best experience with training dogs. Trained my German Shepard here, we are in full control of our boy and this wouldn’t have been achievable without going to K9 academy. Martyn at Liverpool K9 academy is very professional and reliable in everything he does, he’s knowledge on training all kinds of dogs and behaviours is the best I’ve seen, I got my German shepherd (Zero) from him over 2 years ago and he’s been for obedience trying and also other things, I wouldn’t go anywhere els martyn is always on hand over the phone to offer advice once you come away from the training if you have questions. Amazing results from the first session!!! After getting to breaking point with our German shepherd and his aggression/reactivity to other dogs we booked in with Martyn. From the minute Martyn took his lead Ollie was a different dog!!! He was able to show us the correct correction needed to alter his behaviour. Omg!! We arrived at K9, Reacher dragged me through the mud onto the field! Yep, good first impression! 😏 Handed Reacher over to Martin and instantly wanted to body drop him and put him in a choke hold!! 😡 Reacher looking at me with those eyes and my heart just dropped into my stomach.... Then it happened!! Martin got on to doing what he does and I was amazed. Martin told me so much. Gave me so much to work with. He demonstrated all his techniques, explaining how they work, why they work and used excellent funny analogies to explain everything. He didn't quit until he was sure I fully understood. More importantly, he explained the consequences of getting Reachers training wrong! He had me as soon as I seen Reacher relaxed and happy with what Martin was doing with him. Martin's wife and lovely little girl interacted with Reacher too and his amazing boy Brazen. These interactions really hit home for me and I was really excited to get started. I was dubious at first, to see if Reacher would behave with me and my husband as he did with Martin but he did. I was so proud of my boy. Martin is a power drive...I GOT HOMEWORK! I left our session so hopeful and excited and can't wait to show him our progress which started just walking off the field! Thank you Martin! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾
