Lottie Hanks is hands down one of the best trainers in the Wimbledon area. We have a working cocker spaniel as a family dog, which is a handful to say the least. Her years of knowledge, expertise and patience knows no bounds. When you hear the quote, “There are no bad dogs, just bad owners,” expect that - she doesn’t train the dog, she going to train you as the owner which is exactly what you want but most importantly need. Getting a puppy is a commitment and flips your world. With her support and guidance you have a leg up. Lottie commands loyalty in the area as a foremost expert - just plan to put the work in - for your dog! Recommend 1000x over.

We would highly recommend Lottie. We booked her for a block of personal training sessions with our new Labrador puppy and she instantly made a difference. As first time dog owners, we were fairly clueless, but willing to learn. Lottie's approach is effective and easy to follow, with helpful advice and guidance. Our puppy has thrived under her tutorage and we miss seeing her each week. We will be booking refresher sessions as we progress into adolescence

It's fair to say I was overwhelmed and frazzled in the first few weeks after bringing our beautiful working cocker pup home but Lottie and the puppy classes have helped enormously.
Lottie using positive methods, taught us how to communicate and read our pups behaviour which makes training so much easier and less frustrating.
We also had a few 1-2-1 sessions at home which I thoroughly recommend. They were tailored to our specific needs and have left me much more confident.
We now have a happy, obedient and eager to please 6 month old pup. Although we are about to enter the dreaded 'teenage' months I feel confident that I have the tools to get through it, and if we do have a wobble along the way I know that I can always call in Lottie!

Highly recommend Lottie as her approach to training dogs is very different to previous trainers we have experienced before which is refreshing and has proven to lead to results which we have not achieved with past trainers. Lottie’s understanding, knowledge and love of dogs is amazing and we feel very fortunate to have met her and have her train our dog Rory.

FIVE STARS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I cannot recommend Adventure Paws enough!! Both of my dogs went to their puppy school (at different intervals) and Lottie was so so friendly and approachable on both occasions. I always had so many questions about my pups and Lottie was always available to help me. Even in their adulthood I still get advice off Lottie, she just goes above and beyond, and really cares about dogs.
Both me and my doggos enjoyed the sessions and they came out well socialised and well trained! Its really refreshing to meet someone so friendly and approachable in the dog training world. I wouldn't send my dogs anywhere else now.

Our boy Rory is a very emotional soul after being rescued, and loves a good whinge and bark over pretty much anything. To help him we’ve been to many different dog trainers over the years. Trainers that used treats which lead to a chubby little boy. Trainers that used aversion therapy that damaged our relationship.
And then we had the pleasure of Lottie’s training methods. She is knowledgeable, personable and her love of animals shines through. She came to us at home minus a gilet, which threw me as this is the staple of all dog trainers but as soon as she came in she sat at Rory’s level on the floor and played and scratched him, which was a massive difference from other trainers. With the arrival of our new born baby, we have been unable to spend much time with Rory and Lottie advised us how to entertain him with toys and make him work for his food as he’s bored and all this pent up energy. Within 5 minutes she got him playing with toys which he has never done. The change to Rory was pretty much instant.
With just one lesson her help has changed Rory into a more affectionate and obedient dog, and best of all with techniques of love, not aversion

We signed up our cavapoo puppy for 6 weeks of puppy classes with Lottie, and we are so pleased we did. We all learnt a huge amount, and Lottie’s patience and insight made it something we all looked forward to each week. I’d thoroughly recommend!

We've now had the benefit of Lottie's training for Louis, our Welsh Springer spaniel, both as part of a class and, more recently, with her spending one-on-one time with him in three hour long weekly sessions. Her ability to engage with him, starting when he was just a few months old and with him now at 13 months, is astonishing. Most importantly Lottie has provided us with the essential means by which we can manage and improve his behaviour in the future, including video footage of key moments in each session, plus detailed notes in support of the training activities. We only hope that we, as owners, can deliver the follow up that her input deserves!

Fully deserved 5 stars. Training well structured and clearly explained how and why. Both my and my puppy are really happy with the experience and both learned a lot
