Anita has played a huge part in resettling my cat skye back with me into my new home. He was sulking and sad, hiding away, not coming out even to eat as he couldn’t go outside until he became familiar with is new home. Anita offered very valuable advice , she came with a wealth of information and tips on how to progress and build trust between myself & Skye again. I have see long lasting positive changes in Skye every day he has become more loving and back to his happy playful self. Anita is very kind, compassionate and very generous with her time . I am so grateful that Anita has also written a couple of cat behavioural books I can refer to anytime, which has been so supportive with so many more tips i can reflect back on. I highly recommend Anita to anyone looking for a cat behaviourist. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Anita placed Winnie with us after she needed rehoming due to conflict with another cat. It was a very difficult decision for the previous owners to re-home and Anita managed it sensitively and compassionately. Once Winnie arrived with us she was very scared and stressed - Anita helped us every step of the way to help Winnie gradually adjust to her new home. Now, almost three months later, Winnie is much more settled and relaxed and we're so happy to see her personality coming out. Anita helped to reassure us and encourage us to take measures to help Winnie settle we wouldn't otherwise have known to do - we're really grateful for her support and being able to offer Winnie a comfortable home. I highly recommend Anita for her professional and well judged advice and support working with cats.

Our vet referred us to Anita after continued toileting on the bed by our cat Stevie Nicks during the first 7 months we'd had her. Anita asked extensive questions via a pre-consultation form and then spent an hour and a half in our home to understand the space and observe Stevie. Though there were no obvious triggers or answers, Anita is working with us to make some changes and improvements, and crucially the ongoing contact with her via WhatsApp has been such a comfort. We haven't solved the problem completely as there doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to her behaviour, but having Anita there to bounce ideas off of and give reassurance has been 100% worth it and we've really appreciated all her help so far.

Vinny and Timmy have settled in really well with our family and older cats thanks to Anita and her skills.
Some of our older cats weren't keen on the young ones but with patience / time and a gradual transition they are much better together!
Thank you! Danielle and David

My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Anita. From the start she was very empathetic with a quick grasp of our problem and an excellent knowledge of cat behavioural signs. I’ll admit to having been skeptical about using a cat behavourist, but my wife and I were both impressed by the sensible and detailed behavioural modification program she designed for our cats. Anita encouraged us to keep in touch via Whats-app and replied very quickly to our questions, for months. When we ultimately came to the very sad conclusion that we needed to re-home one of our cats, Anita helped us find a good new home for her. Despite not having the result we all wanted, we finished with very high regard for Anita.

My cat Katinka has developed an issue that Anita diagnosed as predatory aggression. We had a very helpful virtual consultation, during and after which Anita made several suggestions, and then wrote an extensive report with some further advice. Anita also continues to provide extensive virtial support, which is very helpful and much appreciated. Although it's only a week since our consultation, and not all suggestions have yet been able to be implemented, I and others have already seen a change in Katinka. She seems happier, more enlivened, and not attacking so much. She has usually been a very gentle cat, so this was new behaviour. I am delighted with the input from Anita and absolutely recommend her.

Anita is great!
Our cat Charlie started to pee on our bed, even though he was litter trained. Anita gave great advice (not only with regards to the peeing issue, but also other things like toys). I can highly recommend her!

Anita has been such a help! We have two cats, Puffkin and Wednesday, who lived happily together for three years (since Wednesday was a kitten)... until they suddenly started fighting. Anita helped us figure out that they had issues due to misdirected aggression - neighborhood cats were harassing them at our doors and windows.
Anita provided lots of great recommendations from toys to treats to techniques and even medications. Luckily we haven’t had to medicate beyond a hell of a lot of Feliway, and her techniques for gradual reintroduction really helped resolve the issue. We also solved the territory problem with the other cats. If you want to know more, definitely give her a ring!

Anita, was recommended to us by our pet groomer to help try and resolve an issue of our house cats fighting. We worked really hard with Anita over 6 months but unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to rehome one of our cats. Anita guided us through the process and found Ron a wonderful home and new owner which we can not thank her enough. Would highly recommended

Anita is highly qualified and recognised. We needed help getting our new 11 week old kitten introduced to the resident cat of 7 years old. He had territory issues and displayed anxiety and aggression. Anita came with a wealth of information and tips on how to progress and not to long after her consultation did we begin to see improvements. They are learning to tolerate each other. It's a slow process and will take time but with the knowledge and support from Anita, we are getting there... Slowly.
I can only say thanks and highly recommend Anita
UPDATE MAY 2020 🐱💙❤
You'll be happy to know Alley and Kai are no longer separated upstairs and downstairs
For the last week we have been leaving the baby gate open and at 4am when Kai wakes he goes down when we are asleep 😴
Last night both Alley and Kai slept on our bed given they were separated on either Mark and me they both stayed the night and went down in the morning before we woke. No issues ,fights growling
During the day they both out and about in the garden and roaming the house together ❤
Enjoying playtime, catch and hide and seek in the garden and chill when its nap time 😴
Thanks again Anita xxx

Anita was an absolute saint with our nervous kitty, using all the patience in the world to put her at ease during our behaviour session. I can't recommend her enough. I've been following her advice and our cat is settling in much better than we could have expected. She had a bad start in life and was/is afraid of humans. That is slowly changing with Anita's help. Very happy to have her on our side.

So we inherited a cat (Abby) from next door when they got a dog and she started living outside all year round. Abby now lives with us and has freedom indoors and outdoors. Being long haired she had matting galore and we thought that was the only issue. Course this year got in the way and we have only just been able to get to see Anita. Anita works with Addison & Holland Park vets and they are amazing as well. In conjunction with Anita we had a near lion cut groom and issues that a previous (different vet nearer to home) visit had missed, abscesses claws impacted into pads, a tooth issue and a heart murmur all diagnosed, claws and teeth sorted the Anita got to work. What a difference to Abby now. No matting, happier and definitely moving easier. Pics before and after attached. I knew my decision was right to wait for Anita and use a true professional to look after our gorgeous cat rather than the horror stories that I have heard about general groomers. Happy cat, happy people. If there were more stars would have given as many as able. Anita is a true genius thanks 👏👏👏🙇🙇🙇🐈😻🐾

Anita was extremely professional and knowledgeable and the whole experience was extremely helpful. The home visit is very valuable and she suggested many changes that have had a large impact. She provides many documents, resources and a contact hub for questions. Great help overall and so happy to see my cat getting better. Thank you Anita

We heard some great things about Anita so decided to book home visit to help us with our two cats. Our initial cat introductions had not gone well with our resident cat being very aggressive to our new rescue. Anita spent a long time at our home and spoke at length about the issue before meeting the cats and doing a controlled meet with all hands on deck in case things went wrong. She spoke to us about a plan of action and after her visit we received an extensive report with step by step instructions designed to help our particular case. So far we have seen great results. She told us changes would be slow and to lower our expectations which def helped us not feel so guilty. Things have been going so well that we feel Anita’s fees have been money well spent. She left us with renewed hope and something to work towards. The best part of Anita’s consultations is her continued support. She always gets back via Whattsapp and this has been golddust to us. I Highly recommend Anita and am very happy our vet mentioned her to us. We also bought her book. Let’s Talk About Cats, which is excellent.

We have had a very positive experience so far in working with Anita. She was very generous with her time in her visit to our house (and adhered to government advice on social distancing, masks etc) and brought a few toys for our cats to play with! She gave us excellent advice which is starting to pay off in ensuring our three cats can co-exist harmoniously. One of the best bits of her service is the WhatsApp group where we can get in touch with questions and check we are on the right track, which is really reassuring. Anita responds promptly and always has good ideas. Thank you!

My two cats just did not like other people in our house, they would just hide away in fear. Anita came over for the consultation and wrote an extensive report. Anita also helped us understand why the cats were like this and she gave us some ideas of how to get them more confident with people. The cats are now confident with people they know, and have made amazing progress in the past few months. I am very grateful for Anita and I will not hesitate to use her in the future if needed.

We went to Anita because we had challenges moving a new cat into our home. Our existing cat did not adjust well to sharing the space, and the new cat ended up chasing her and was even physically violent. If we were unable to resolve the situation, we knew we would have to move one of cats out of the house.
We had watched endless YouTube videos but Anita was able to analyse the situation and make positive suggestions, many of which hadn't even crossed our minds.
Her advice is working wonders so far. We are able to have both cats in the same room just metres away, whereas before the more submissive cat would have panicked and left the room. That's not to say this has been a quick fix - it has taken time and patience to get here, and we still have a way to go.
Best of all, Anita has supported us throughout the process - and continues to stay in touch with advice and genuine interest in making the best of our situation. In the process, she has recommended high quality toys, towers and food - which has had benefits with our issue, and beyond.
Thank you Anita!

We have been having problems with our four Burmese who have suddenly starting fighting. We had tried alot with not much luck but Anita was able to come and visit and give a real insight into problems areas around the home. She played with the cats and helped give me confidence in them being together again. She produced a really helpful quick and efficient report straight away and with lots of really helpful suggestions. We have already started to have progress and two of the four are already friends again. We still have a little way to go and one of our cats is going to try anxiety medication, but Anita continues to support us and keep in regular contact and I'm much more positive that we are going in the right direction! Would definitely recommend Anita to anyone having kitty problems she clearly knows cats and how to get results. Really happy we chose to get her help.

I had a virtual cat consultation with Anita for my rescued cat. My issue is that after one year I haven’t been able to touch her yet. Anita helped me understand the cat issues as we discovered she is a semi feral cat.
Anita offered very valuable advices on how to start approaching her step by step. My cat behaviour has improved significantly in only a couple of weeks and I look forward for more positive changes in the future.
I definitely recommend Anita to anyone looking for a cat behaviourist.

Our beautiful Burmese cat was driving us crazy with his demanding miaowing and constant need for attention at all hours of the day and night. He also seemed more anxious than usual Anita came and was wonderful. She had a great rapport with both of our cats and gave us some really clear and helpful advice. Things are already much better and she’s been a great support as we get through the first weeks of transition.

Anita came to our home to help my 5 years old rescue Persian boy (Gandalf) for a grooming session. He was badly neglected by the previous owner and was very timid and scared. Anita is patience and she is very experienced in dealing with timid cats. She knows exactly what to do and how to calm a scared cat instantly.
When she knows Gandalf is scared of the noise of any electrical appliances, she took her time to make sure Gandalf won't get shocked by the shower and the hair dryer; and thanks to her, the whole bathing routine went smoothly.
Anita also gave us some useful tips to help with Gandalf's litter tray problem and recommended us some items that is good for Persian cats.
I couldn't recommended Anita more highly and will definitely go for Anita for my cat behaviour issues.
Thank you Anita! x

Anita Kelsey helped me in a very difficult decision, whether to return my beautiful but unsocialised Burmese kitten to his breeders. She understood the issues and provided very clear and focussed advice. I decided reluctantly that I would return him and this has proved to be the right decision for both me and the kitten. I can thoroughly recommend Anita.

We got in touch with Anita to help us with our Ragdoll. He had been aggressive and we were worried about our 3 year old son. She came to our home and conducted a through assessment, following this made an extremely detailed report with evidence based information which we followed. She was in touch daily to advise us in implementing change. The outcome was that we decided to rehome our cat due to our environment being unsuitable for his needs and she went above and beyond helping us find the perfect home for his needs. He has now gone to live in a fantastic home with a gorgeous family. We receive daily updates and Anita has supported us all in this decision. We could not rate her highly enough!

Highly recommended Anita's in person services. Anita was able to visit our home in July (covid precautions taken, of course!), after nearly a year of dealing with sporadic peeing on a sofa chair by one of our 2 cats.
Anita came, asked various questions to understand better my responses to her questionnaire. She looked around the house and made various recommendations. After about 3 months, the peeing stopped completely!!
When Anita recommends an action for you to take... do it. Stretch your mind to accommodate the ask even if it is inconvenient. It'll save your relationship with your cat and anyone else you are living with, who is impacted by the peeing. My husband was close to getting rid of her, and Anita's help, saved her from 'exile'. Although, to be fair, I'm not sure I could have let that happen... one of us would have been unhappy with whatever decision taken.
Anita was very responsive to questions I had, and thoughtful on changes to make, when current suggestions weren't getting the desired results. Anita is worth it!

We took cute Katie into our home a few weeks ago in the hope that we could offer her a new life. She had a really bad start in life, being neglected and abused. We had been struggling to cope with her aggressive outbursts, until the amazingly talented Anita Kelsey came to the rescue. She has assessed Katie and given us a plan to help her move past her past. Anita’s on going commitment to project-Katie means we feel supported and are already seeing results. It’s going to be a long road ahead, but with Anita’s support and advice we feel confident we can help this little lady. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of understanding what’s going on with their cat.

Ever since Anita came to view our cats, there has been a transformation in the dynamic between our two young cats. We regard Anita as the Mary Poppins of the cat world. She came armed with magical toys and brilliant tips for managing the psychology of our feline friends and they are now loved up and much more enamoured with each other and more respectful of each other's space. Anita is extremely gifted at what she does.

Anita is the best! I adopted my beautiful indoor long hair cat in NYC before moving to London for work. Belle was an adult female cat at the time of adoption (between 6-8 years old) and was extremely skittish and uncomfortable around me and other humans. I thought we had started to bond over the 20 months prior to finding Anita in London, but Belle was still being difficult, occasionally going to the bathroom outside of her litter box and generally still acting skittish around me. I didn't think that a cat behaviorist would do much given the months of care and love I'd put in with Belle, but Anita came very well prepared and within 1-2 hours had a laundry list of things we could do differently (and things we were doing wrong/ had to change) to engage with Belle more, make her happier/ feel less trapped and discourage her from using the sofa as a toilet.
3 months after Anita's visit and post the implementation of her suggestions, Belle is happier and more relaxed around her humans and she's finally stopped using the sofa as her second litter box! Highly recommend Anita!!

Our 6 month old littermate kittens went to the vets for their spaying and as soon as we brought them home they hated each other, showing aggressive behaviour, growling and hissing and couldn't be in the same room together. For 3 weeks we researched online, scoured google and implemented all the right techniques as far as we knew yet there was little to no progress. Finally we got in touch with Anita and we are so thankful we found her when we did! While we had the right techniques we had no knowledge as to how much exposure to give, what toys to use and when to end their interactions. Anita set up a WhatsApp group to give us constant access, providing the support and advice we needed whenever we had a question. I can't recommend Anita's services enough! Only a week after getting in contact with her, our kittens are finally able to be in the same room again and are constantly playing, eating, sleeping and grooming each other as before! Thank you so much!

I cannot recommend Anita enough!
Me and my two cats moved in with my boyfriend and his two cats 6 months ago. The cats were not integrating well at all. One of his cats in particular was extremely aggressive and territorial towards my two. My cats lost all their confidence and hid 24/7. There were cat fights almost every day, all the cats were exhibiting various stress behaviours.
Two months ago I reached out to Anita, I was at my wits end and had lost all hope that the cats would ever be able to live together peacefully. After a full consultation, Anita had given me some changes to action to try and integrate them, lift my cat’s confidence and minimise my boyfriend’s cat’s aggression. I was very cynical and didn’t think anything would really change the cat’s dynamic and behaviours.
However after just a week of implementing the changes I noticed a little shift. Improvements were showing. I kept Anita updated via WhatsApp on their progress. 2 months later, my cats are back to their normal selves, full of confidence, happily roaming around the house and going outside. There are 0 cat fights, my boyfriend’s cats have settled and accepted mine. They aren’t friends, they keep their distance from each other, but there’s no more stress, no more territorial aggression. They all eat their meals together happily. The worst that happens now is one of his might chase one of mine if they cross paths unexpectedly. But there’s no physical contact.
I couldn’t be happier with the results. My cats are finally happy and thriving in their new home and all the cats are calm and sharing the space together in a healthy way.

We asked Anita for her help when 2 of our 5 cats fell out seriously and one took to living on top of the kitchen cupboards, we had exhausted our limited knowledge of how to resolve the issue and feared for their safety around each other and happiness .We had a home visit and Anita gave us some different ideas including how we could change things in the house and a detailed step by step plan to gradually work through and she was always available with reassurance and tweeks to the plan if things weren't going smoothly. It's been a long 3 months since we started (we always knew it would take time and commitment) we have finally been able to have all doors in the house open and the cats have learnt to tolerate each other and Anita was the first person we wanted to tell. We would recommend Anita to anyone who is thinking of getting a behavourists help it was the best thing we did for us and our gang where we would have been without her help is not worth thinking about.

We needed help when our 4 year old rescue cat started peeing in the house. Anita was extremely thorough in understanding the situation in our home, what had led up to the change in our cat's behaviour and how we could make changes to help her. There was nothing outlandish we needed to do, just a series of subtle yet effective changes and a bit of trial and error. What did really liked about the report Anita sends is that nothing is mandated, it's more like a menu of things you can try and build on until you start to see results. We really appreciated the after care as well with a WhatsApp group we could use for follow up questions and advice to tweak what we were doing. 6 weeks on from seeing Anita and we no longer need to keep doors closed in the house and one of the worst rooms for peeing is now a room our cat enjoys hanging out in most. So glad we contacted Anita, we have a much happier cat and we are much more relaxed!!

I all of a sudden found myself having problems with my cat, as he was occasionally urinating outside the litter tray which was becoming more frequent over a period of 5 month. Anita helped me a lot and since I implemented changes as per her advice, I had no issues of this nature. I would recommend Anita to anyone experiencing behavioural issues with their cats, as it can become extremely frustrating. She offers holistic approach taking into account all possible factors in order to resolve the problem. Anita raised certain points that I would have never thought of (first time cat owner) so I found her input very valuable and worth every penny! Thank you Anita! Diana and Tommy :)
P. S.
We contacted Anita to solve issues after introducing our new kitten to our existing cat. Anita made some really good suggestions and most of them have been beneficial. The toys she suggested have worked very well and are not expensive to buy either. The cat tree she recommended has been brilliant . Our male cat who never liked the old cat tree is now jumping up and down it all the time. Aggression issues have also reduced and we can now peacefully leave the two cats together while we are at work without worrying too much. Highly recommend getting in touch with her for any issues relating to your cat or cats.

Anita really helped me to make a big decision as to whether to introduce another cat into our household after the death of our beloved Thor. She helped me understand Merlins behaviour and personality and how happy he is being a single cat, she also helped me translate Merlin and Thors relationship, which had been stressing Merlin out (Thor was a very full on cat) So Thankyou for giving me the advice I needed to move forward, and to allow me to see that Merlin deserves to be happy- and so he is :)
Just us xx

I can’t thank Anita enough for taking such good care of my badly-matted, feisty Chinchilla Persian. She was patient and gentle with her. I really appreciated the way she handled my baby girl. Highly, highly recommend her services if you have any concerns about your cat or cat’s hair. Anita is lovely to work with and very knowledgeable!

Anita is fantastic. I couldn't recommend her more highly. She really understands cats and sees the world from their perspectives. We were having trouble with our two cats (who'd always previously been best friends) suddenly getting into fights with each other. Anita came to visit, watched them interacting and explored their territory and instantly diagnosed the problem. We've been implementing her recommendations and so far have had perfect cat harmony in our house. Its still too soon to say we'll never have problems again, but I'm confident we're on the right track thanks to her insightful suggestions. She's been responsive and helpful and we're working together make sure we've really solved the problems. Thank you Anita.
G. K.
A huge thank you to Anita for her sage advice and support in helping Ozzie overcome territorial stress with the introduction of a GS puppy to his house. It’s wonderful to see that he has got his mojo back.

We met Anita to help us out with our rescue cat Lula who has been demonstrating aggressive behaviour towards us. We had to fill out a detailed behaviour assessment form from which Anita was able to identify problem areas. When she met us and Lula she gave us great ideas on how to stimulate Lula so she could redirect her aggression. I now play regularly with her and she loves it. We're also getting shelves put up so she can climb which I think will go down a treat. Anita really understands cats needs and we're pleased so far with Lula's progress. Anita maintains contact with us for updates which is also great.

We have been with Anita for many years now. She is by far the best cat grooming service in London (we have tried all the others we could find in our area).
She comes to our house bringing all her materials including music and toys.
Our cat is very difficult with strangers but Anita has made the experience not too stressful for him, she takes her time, understand the needs of our cat and is VERY CARING what most other cat groomers are actually lacking...
Also she noticed that we have had a few issues with our cat getting used to our new borns, and she gave us very good advice on how to make him stop pooping and peeing everywhere.
We did have to accomodate how we lived to follow her instructions but since then our cat has stopped peeing and pooping everywhere and he is way happier and less stressed in general. So we are very grateful Anita used her behaviorist expertise to help us out.
I highly recommend her services. She will also have a lot of tips to help along the way about what to buy, where to buy, what to do etc...

Anita came in to assist when our 5 year old cat developed serious anxiety and behavioural problems after we adopted a new 9 year old rescue cat into the house. She gave us some wonderful suggestions in her report which was produced promptly after her visit. Her ongoing support has been invaluable and we have seen significant improvements at all fronts.

Highly recommended. Anita was friendly and provided some good tips, despite my cat refusing to come out from under the TV cabinet. I noticed some good improvements in behaviour from implementing Anita's suggestions and overall have a much happier cat; as she's very nervous its going to be a long haul, but she's definitely much better now.

Anita has been very helpful with resolving the behavior issues we had with our two cats following the arrival of our new baby. She offered lots of practical suggestions, and has been very responsive following the initial consultation. I’d definitely recommend to any cat owner who feels like they’ve tried everything and needs some professional, patient and practical advice!
J. K.
Anita helped me with the introduction of a new cat when things were a little stressful; she was always on hand, incredibly supportive and reassuring and helped me understand and interpret my cats behaviours and see the positives. I now have 2 very happy cats (and a happy cat owner!) after introducing her suggested changes and techniques. I thought I knew cats after years of owning a variety of challenging characters, but introducing 2 cats is a very different road and I am so glad to have had Anita's support. Thanks Anita !😻🐱👤

Anita was SO helpful with advice about my cat who's had her territory curtailed by a local male. She knows her stuff and is clearly a lovely kind and helpful person.

We love Anita and are so grateful for her advice and kitty intervention ! Things were chaotic with moving our two bengals overseas from NYC into our Flat in London (that already had our new little stray kitten living in it .) So it’s been a bit of a rough time for them all getting to know one another and finding their security and territory . Anita has visited once and offered wonderful advice that helped to change the aggressive/anxious behavior as well as the females marking all over our nice furniture .
They all have a bunch of wonderful new toys she recommended and for the most part all negative behaviors have stopped or at least calmed down within a week and a half . She has continued to stay in touch and take calls and emails like a proper therapist! She’s a genius with felines and we are so grateful to have found her! Thanks so much Anita ;) xo

Anita Rocks! I had been really struggling with a cat I've been fostering. Poor little Mimi came to us with a very difficult past that had left her fearful all the time. This manifested in unpredictable and aggressive behavior. Anita has helped massively. Firstly by explaining why she was doing what she was doing and how we could help her. Anita has amazing (and deep) behavioral knowledge of cats (and humans!), and has been an incredible help. She is super professional, thorough and has supported me along the journey. Mimi has made huge improvements by following Anita's advice and program. Thank you Anita, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to understand (and fix) their cat's undesirable behavior.

I highly recommend Anita! My cat has bad behaviour problems due to nerves (she was neglected by previous owners) and Anita truly put her at ease and has helped us improve her fear going forwards with future stressful situations. So glad I came across Anita!

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for Anita Kelsey.
She is a great professional and very skilled in her job.
Anita dealt with my aggressive cat a few years ago and she helped me, my flat mate and Juice to improve his (and our) quality of life and finally get a new home.
Being a vet myself I understand at the times, for the well-being of the cats, the extreme solution, as re-homing them, it’s the most adequate. If and when the household and the surrounding are not supporting the different shades of personality cats have, it’s the time to be realist and humble, taking the best decision for the cat.
I would suggest to ask for Anita advices and I regularly refer my clients to her when asking for behavioural help.
T. P.
We would thoroughly recommend Anita. She helped us understand our rescue cat Ruby’s special needs as we were struggling to understand her unpredictable behaviour. Since Anita explained how to modify our behaviour with Ruby our bond with has grown and she trusts us so much more. She does not attack my husband anymore! Anita also helped us introduce our new cat Magnus to Ruby which we were dreading . They aren’t friends but they coexist happily in our home. Sometimes they chase each other about the house but without any fighting. It is a joy to see this. Thank you Anita!!

I’ve had some trouble introducing my kitten Artemis to our resident cat Luna. We seeked out the services of a behaviourist (not Anita) who was not massively helpful, she did not fulfill what she said she was going to do in terms of the support side of things which left us feeling helpless. I wanted someone who just specialised in cats and found Anita’s website. Anita came to meet the cats to see how they interact and we found her knowledge and experience extremely helpful. We have a group chat where we can discuss their progress and Anita is very efficient at getting back to us and answering all of our questions. We are still in the process but I feel hopeful with Anita’s help and support we will achieve our goal! I think it’s really important to find someone who has such passion and love for animals, I would recommend anyone that is having any trouble with their cat to go to Anita!

Anita came and did an evaluation of some problems in our 3-cat household. She was extremely methodical and professional in her approach, gathering all the info she needed about each cat and their relationships and behaviours, to make an informed assessment.
Her explanation of our cats' behaviours enabled us to understand them in a completely new way, their territoriality in the house and differences between play and dominance behaviours. These insights ultimately allowed us to make a decision that will result in all cats being happier and less stressed.
We would thoroughly recommend Anita for a cat's eye perspective of the world, she is thoroughly enlightening and very friendly too. Thanks Anita!

Anita was very confident when she met my little Lucy that suffers from territorial aggression! I was really impressed with that as most people are scared of my cat. I was also impressed that she came to our house with toys and treats. We are still at the start of a very long road but Anita’s suggestions have actually improved the situation and that is a comment that comes from the cat sitter and my friends. I will continue to follow her advices and I hope than one day my little one will enjoy people’s company.
Thank you Anita

Lovely Anita came to assess my very sweet but very nervous cat Maddie. Maddie has had a rough start to her little life so when I acquired her 2 years ago, I was given a cat with a lot of health problems and behavior issues. As a result of her 'past' Maddie was constantly urinating outside her litter trays and causing a lot of upset and confusion as I have tried everything to make her feel safe and happy. I was at my wits end after trying to fix this issue for 2 years.
When Anita arrived Maddie took an instant like to her and it was almost like Maddie fell under Anita's magic spell. I had never seen my cat so engaging with a new visitor to the house.
Anita did a thorough assessment during her visit and then left me with a few suggestions on how to make Maddie more relaxed and happy and also suggestions on litter tray positions, sizes etc.
I put everything in place straight away and by magic my cat has become the most friendly , happy and loving little girl I could have hoped for. The change in Maddie, just by making the small adjustments Anita suggested have been remarkable. There has also been a huge improvement with her litter tray issues.
I am very grateful for Anita's advice and genuine care for my cat, and I would highly recommend Anita to anyone. An amazing woman. 😊

We got in contact with Anita to help us solve the problem with Cleo peeing on the sofa and bed, which she had done regularly since being re-homed with us a year ago. Anita was very accommodating and did her best to see us as soon as possible. When she came to our house, she explored all of Cleo's movements around the house and interactions with us, and we were really surprised with the amount of things which needed to change to not only cure our problem, but to improve Cleo's life and happiness. We implemented most of the new regime within a few days, and within a week, Cleo was behaving totally differently. She is SO much happier, friendly, attentive, interested and we are so glad we found Anita. Cleo has not peed outside her litter tray now for over 3 weeks, and although we cannot rule out accidents in the future, we have constant access to Anita should any problem develop. I would recommend Anita for anyone looking for a happy cat.

Anita is super warm and friendly whilst being incredibly professional. I asked Anita for advice about my rescue cats and despite being very busy she offered me help online. I followed her advice which worked like a dream. Anita is efficient and knowledgable...I think she is one of the only people in the UK to actually have a degree in cat psychology...you can’t really get better than that can you?! Thanks Anita, you totally rock!!! 😻😻😻😻😻

Anita visited when our male cat began to act aggressively towards his sister. From our preliminary description and immediate observation she quickly diagnosed a possible cause. She made a whole raft of suggestions. We immediately changed some aspect of our behaviour towards play with our male and the aggression and tension rapidly declined. We are also following some other recommendations, and have continued to communicate with Anita for further advice. As she made numerous suggestions, we could not follow them all, and so she has been very responsive to our further questions. We are extremely grateful for Anita’s intervention. While we only needed to change our own interaction with our cats slightly, it has had a significant impact on their behaviour towards each other, and probably halted what would have otherwise been a nasty spiral.

Having problems with my catmate Raymond overgrooming. He has other medical issues too and was born with wobbly cat syndrome. Anita visited us, found things I'd never considered, and came up with a plan of action to help me improve all aspects of Raymond's life. We've been implementing these things over the last 10 days. I'm seeing some real improvements in Raymond. It's obviously a long process to help him change this longterm behaviour, but with all of the positive changes we have to implement and with Anita's continued support, I'm confident we'll get there.
I'm very glad I took this step, as I was starting to feel helpless.

I've grown up with cats all my life, especially Burmese cats, my Mum was a breeder, we had 7+ cats at any one time along with litters of kittens etc and consider myself a crazy cat person.. My lovely Burmese boy Chester has always been difficult, but when we had a baby, despite making all efforts to make him as relaxed as possible and him actually being really great with the baby, the lack of attention from me and some other issues with neighbourhood cat, started to cause Chester to spray inside the house. I tried everything I thought would help to stop the behaviour but it became so very bad, and so very stressful for all of us, that after checking it wasn't a health issue my vet referred us to Anita.
Anita spent two or more hours at our home, she sent us a full detailed report later that day and I truly felt that she'd really understood Chester's personality. She gave us some simple inexpensive suggestions on things to add to our home and our routine with Chester, and within a day or two we started to see great improvement. He stopped waking us up during the night, being a pest during the babies bed time and stopped jumping at the bedroom doors.
Chester is a changed cat! He's much more relaxed and affectionate and we're enjoying his company so much more. Anita continues to be in communication with us, checks up on our progress regularity, and has made further helpful suggestions along the way.
I can't thank her or recommend her enough.

Anita is the most kind and considerate cat behaviourist. She will take my calls at anytime of the day or night even on Christmas Eve. She does this for free and will then also travel across London to see my cat if I need help. She is a truly lovely lady and I feel fortunate to have found her. This is a very honest review and I can not recommend her more highly.

We can’t recommend Anita highly enough. Our beloved cat went missing for two years - only to find his way home in the most terrible of
states. Anita helped us ease his distress. A true cat lover and a professional.

We needed some expert help with our Bengal who was over grooming and inappropriate howling. Anita gave us good advice and left us with considerable tools to address his stress issues. We now have a happy Bengal who has markedly reduced his over grooming and has stopped having to have steroid injections. Highly recommend Anita and her very thorough and comprehensive process.

We were very desperate and had not much hope to get our 2 cats “talking to” each other again following a stressful event that led one our cat to attack the other one. We tried to reintroduce them on our own following various advice that I learnt for an animal behaviour course but I clearly lacked of experience. Anita came in to assess the situation and see the cats. She was a bit worried considering that we had tried to reintroduce them over 2 months and no progress were made. We agreed on a 2 months plan to start with. Anita needed to see progress during those 2 months otherwise we had to consider rehoming our youngest cat. We followed the plan to the letter (we had to make some readjustments with Anita’s help) and slowly but surely saw positive signs after 3/4 weeks. We are in our 5th week and we had an amazing breakthrough when feeding them raw chicken (our cats’ cocaïne 😂) in the same room 2 feet apart. We are not at the end of the tunnel yet but with patience and hard work, we feel like we might be able to keep our little family all together thanks to Anita!

Anita is a brilliant behaviourist, who is well equipped with a deep knowledge of feline behavioural patterns, who has plenty of resources to alleviate problematic situations and an ability to recognise the core of these - in both the pet as much as in the owner.
She is attentive and available and has worked wonders in a new cat introduction situation where we had all but given up. It is important to have realistic expectations and realise that a lot of the work has to come from the individual but the support is invaluable.

Our Maine Coon has been extremely anxious from the first day we got her as a kitten and she does not like being handled. Several months later, and in desperation, we contacted Anita. I immediately felt reassured. Further to a detailed assessment and report, Anita is in contact with me on a regular basis with step by step guidance and, in time, I have every confidence our little one will come out of her shell. We are forever grateful to Anita and feel very fortunate. Thank you!

Anita came to see my very nervous cat Holly, who was very scared and withdrawn following our move to a new house and the arrival of two puppies. Anita was so lovely and friendly and had Holly at ease and playing within just a few minutes. She left me with lots of helpful advice and gave me a full written report on what would help Holly to gain confidence. She continued to offer support and encouragement in the following weeks and Holly's improvement was fantastic 😊I can't thank Anita enough, she was brilliant!!!

Anita came over to see if she could help with my two Burmese cats who were spraying. After spending some time with them she recommended some simple changes. I cannot believe what a difference it has made, they seem to be alot happier and the spraying has stopped in one cat and in the other cat it has reduced significantly. I am hopeful now that this problem will be totally resolved.

Anita visited us to help with various naughty behavioural issues that our "teenage" Bengal cat has developed. Thoroughly professional and very friendly, we've introduced some of her suggestions already with more to try and have noticed an immediate improvement in our problem child's behaviour. Full after-care service is being provided until we're all confident the maglignant teenager has transformed into a star pupil! Would highly recommend.

Anita was fantastic - we were at breaking point with the amount of spraying and peeing around the house, however one visit and with all the recommendations she gave us - we can now live, and breathe again in our home. Still a way to go but I feel we are on the right path and our cats are so much happier and relaxed.

Anita really helped us integrate our new kitten with our existing cats. After her visit things have gotten better and better and now they all hang out without issue. I would definitely recommend her services.

I would highly recommend Anita. She was a tremendous help to us and our cats. She was helpful and knowledgeable, but she also was there for us emotionally as well during a very tough time. I can’t recommend her enough. She is extremely professional and even after coming for our home visit she offered constant support.

Anita was able to understand and advise on particularly difficult behaviours that our cat has. Where we had drawn a blank for years we were able to work with her advise and to make our cat's lives healthier and happier.

Anita came to help us with our two ragdolls who were peeing and pooing where they shouldn't. We we re so worried they were beyond help but we're already seeing big changes since her visit, and we're really optimistic they'll keep improving. We feel like we know a bit more about how we can make then happier too which is great.

Anita is the most amazing Cat groomer/behaviorist. She is most caring and patient in the most difficult of circumstances.
We have a most delightful long hair Persian that doesn’t enjoy her shampoo and set, but with Anita’s professionalism and care, Pippa avoids receiving an ASBO! Thanks Anita you’re the purrrrrrrrrfect groomer!! 😻

Anita was great with my 1 year old persian cat, she arrived promptly at a convenient hour, she brought all the equipment and was very good with my cat, she had toys and made my cat feel very clam throughout the grooming proccess. I would definitely recommend her, her service was thorough and profesional.

My Bengal cat was peeing outside the box for over a year. I had no clue what was wrong. After Anitas visit almost 2 weeks ago he hasn't peed outside the box at all. And he seems to be a much happier cat over all. He now even sleeps with me every night 😊
