Very impressed by this salon. The last salon we tried were unable to hand strip my Irish Terrier and said he tried to bite them. Discussed all this with Dogs Delight beforehand who carefully thought about whether they could help and were happy they could. Murphy came out beautifully stripped and looking magnificent - apparently he was a good boy and behaved nicely.They clearly know how to handle and groom terriers.

I’m very happy with this grooming salon and our miniature schnauzer looks amazing after! Great professionals who will greet you with a smile and make sure your pet is feeling calm and happy! Handstripping is essential for this breed and they did a perfect job, way better than the previous salon I went to -BowWow London who said we are very late for that(7months old puppy). Definatelly will visit Dogs Delight Grooming Salon again!

So far the best ever grooming salon my dog has been. Her grooming standard was in a very bad condition due to some problems and the girls in the salon couldn't be more helpful and understanding and the result was fantastic! Really good experience with my 1yo Irish terrier. Her first ever strip cost £90 which seemed like a lot but I don't really know the market so make of that what you will! However, I felt that Geri was in very capable hands and though she didn't have much of an undercoat they did a really good job of not making her look patchy. And of course she came out happy :)

Have just picked up my Westie from his handstrip and am so pleased with the job Dogs Delight did! We'd taken him to another groomer (apparently also specialists in hand-stripping) to be stripped a few times before (he's only 1 year old now), and without exaggeration he looks like a completely different dog this time - in an entirely good way! Plus they were able to clip his nails without any fuss which the other groomer had said was impossible to do as he was too difficult. Have already booked his next appointment. Such a relief to find these guys.

Dogs Delight is such a fantastic groomers. I have two dogs of different breeds. One of my dogs is very nervous and anxious, but Julie and her wonderful team always put him at ease. I have owned poodles since 2003 and after trying SO many dog grooming salons in Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill Gate,,, I found dogs delight in 2005, and needless to say that it’s been 15 years that I’ve been taking all my poodles to dogs delight. Julie and her team are so professional and friendly, always so welcoming with a big smile :-) I have been asked on walks about where I take my dogs for grooming as they always look amazingly groomed. I am so thrilled to have found this fantastic dog groomers! My 2 year old wheaten terrier had become increasingly distressed being groomed. Both my local dog groomers had refused to see him, as he was 'impossible to groom'! I eventually had to take him to the vet to be sedated to get him done. I have been at my wits end wondering what I could do to help him. I was then recommended Julie and Dog's Delight by a dog behaviourist, and I am so glad that I was. I have just collected my dog and they have not only succeeded in washing, brushing and trimming his claws when everyone else said it was impossible, but he looks AMAZING!! and so happy too! I want to publicly thank Julie and her wonderful team for the most amazing dog grooming course. I did my research as there seemed to be many courses on offer, however none matched up to what Dogs Delight were offering as the DD team seem to be the most qualified dog groomers in the whole of the UK. From the moment I walked into the Salon I felt inspired, I learnt so much and more. But what I really liked was the fact that they didn’t forget about you after the course. They have a wonderful group forum set up for once you have finished the course which means you constantly have the team at your finger tips. The best dog groomers I have take my miniature poodle to in London. My dog loves it there and can't wait to go inside. The staff are really knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about the best types of grooming tools to use at home and grooming issues to watch out for. The staff always do an excellent job and really care about each dog they groom. I always get asked when I am out with my poodle where I get him groomed as he looks so nice and I am always happy to recommend Dogs Delight.

I was pretty nervous about having my little pup groomed for the first time as we had the full service, cut, wash and blow-dry along with nail clipping and ear plucking which unfortunately is necessary with poodle breeds, to prevent infection. Julie was quick and efficient and our lil puppy seems like a weight has been lifted with a lighter coat for the summer. I would strongly recommend her.

I travel from Hackney to take my Brussels Griffon to Dogs Delight. Huey Lewis has had two wonderful cuts with Aoife who always is very attentive to how I would like his hair cut which I really appreciate. Huey Lewis is also a reactive dog and they always make sure to let me know when the best time is to book Huey Lewis in so that he is at his most relaxed and stress free. The best grooming place in London and beyond. I found this salon by watching the owner groom a Bedlington Terrier on YouTube after several unhappy visits to other salons. I have to say they know what they are doing. The dog looks exactly how she should. Also the cut lasts and keeps shape for few weeks. There are lot of bad reviews, but I have visited at least 20 groomers and noone can compare to Dogs Delight. I have to travel from Surrey but the trip is well worth it as Elkie looks amazing every time. You get what you pay for, as they say. Thank you and see you soon.

I would highly recommend this dog grooming parlour, based in an excellent location. all the staff are experts in the field in grooming and handling animals. you will be welcomed by and all friendly team. Julie and her team have been grooming my two schnauzers for over 10 years so I feel that I am well placed to give an honest and detailed account of my experience of Dogs Delight. My older dog Alfie went to day care at Dogs Delight for 3 years (every day of the week), from the age of 12 weeks. The care and love he received was second to none and I have no doubt that the fact he is such a brilliant dog is down to their knowledge and work during his learning phase. Alfie loves to be groomed which is obviously due to the fact that they handled him so well from a young age. He always looks and smells amazing after a groom and arguably has the best beard in Chiswick...! Dogs Delights knowledge and expertise surrounding each individual breed and the correct grooming style is second to none, not just in Chiswick but probably the whole country. The number of awards that Julie and her team have won, and the fact people travel from all over the world to train under her supervision illustrates this beautifully. Dogs Delight will give you advice on the best cut/strip for your dog. However- grooming is a very personal thing- so if you prefer a different look, they will happily accommodate. I think it is important to communicate with your groomer to insure you get the look you want and that suits your dog. If you don't brush your dog enough, leave it too long between grooms etc. then they will highlight this which I (and my clients!) think is brilliant. We all find that life gets in the way occasionally but many people don't realise that a matted dog is terribly uncomfortable for a dog and can cause all sorts of skin infections and horrid problems. I'm sure you will agree that the dogs welfare and happiness is the most important thing so being given advice on how to maintain a healthy coat between grooms etc is really invaluable. In 2010 I opened my own day care centre as I was jealous of the amount of time Dogs Delight got to spend with my Alfie....! I have recommended a huge number of my clients to Dogs Delight over the years and I have never heard a bad thing about them. Everyone is always really happy with the service they receive and the dogs always look fabulous after. My second dog (Albie) used to be a bit nervous with new people but Dogs Delight have been so patient with him and it's really helped his confidence. The fact they never cage a dog and only use muzzles when absolutely necessary tells me that they spend the time getting to know each dog, making sure they are happy and confident, which I think is the sign of a good groomer. I know it's important for my own reputation that I only recommend companies to my clients that can provide a brilliant service, and I always feel more than confident sending the dogs I look after to Dogs Delight which I think shows what a fabulous grooming salon it is.

Dogs Delight is the only dogs groomers I trust - I have been to a quite a few and none are as professional and thorough as DD. I've been taking my Bedlington to DD since he was a puppy. Julie and her team are above excellent, they listen to what you say/how you would like your dog cut etc...I would never trust another groomer with Nettle. He is groomed to perfection, every visit. I cannot recommend DD highly enough.

This review page should be based SOLELY on the competence of the grooming. Dogs Delight are the most competent groomers I know. I trained as a dog groomer at Dogs Delight in 2012 and subsequently, I have based my own business model on what I learned under their tutelage and it has been a great success. . Dogs Delight is a HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL OPERATION, with the most talented permanent staff and enthusiastic students.
