Was looking for a groomer at short notice which is difficult as well we know! I got one here and was a teeny bit worried as the good ones are usually fully booked. However I needn’t have worried. They did a good job on our little Nobby and I love that you can watch them as it’s all open! Prices were reasonable as have paid more than this in other places. We will be back! The only reason I rated a 4 is due to how his tail was cut. But to be fair I explained what I wanted on his face and was asked about his tail and I just said short. They cut it straight across but I’ll Know to explain what I want next time.

We took a one-year-old cocker spaniel Arnold for his first haircut at Groom Dog City and We were absolutely thrilled with the cut that they did. We like Arnold to be long and fluffy and they completely respected our wishes did a beautiful job on him and made sure he was super comfortable. His tail was wagging the whole way through and we felt completely comfortable and happy with the way they treated him and gave him all the fuss and attention he needed. We will absolutely be returning and would highly recommend.

Amazing skill and service from Groom Dog City. We have a shy long hair mini dachshund who was well in need of a groom after lockdown, and they did an amazing job. We arrived early to pick Eevee up and saw how comfortable she was around the groomers and at ease. Will definitely be making this place our regular grooming spot!

My little Cotton Noodle, Rufus, had an appointment with Rute. I am disabled and usually struggle with brushing him. Stuart suggested a cut to suit my needs. Rufus is usually quite sensitive when he comes back, however this time he was really content! The cut was also great. I did not think he could get any cuter, but he certainly is! Thank you Rute and Stuart!

GDC team is the most loving and caring team ever! I take regularly both of my dogs there with full confidence they will be loved abs cared for! My younger puppy is very skittish but she trots in there with the most confidence I ever seen! Also a big bonus of course they come out of their hands looking absolutely gorgeous!!!!

We took our puppy here for his first haircut and the service was friendly and helpful. They offered advice on what service would suit us best and we picked up a very handsome and happy boy an hour later. We will definitely be returning!

We have been coming here for 3 years with our mini schnauzer and have never had a bad experience. We researched for ages to find the right groomers for him as a puppy and decided to give groom dog city a try as the reviews seemed good. His first puppy groom was great and he’s not had a bad one in all the time he’s been visiting the salon. I should say that we do not live in Hackney, we do not live in London and actually don’t even live all that close to London. It’s an hour drive for us each way to get him there every six weeks but we do it as every single person who has groomed him here is totally professional and has a clear and genuine affection for the dogs. We wouldn’t trust anyone else to groom him. We’ve heard too many grooming horror stories from friends/acquaintances who have gone elsewhere and our dogs health and happiness is not worth the risk. It’s an organised business and each dog has 1-2-1 care during the groom. I’m sure that not all other groomers could say that. We have always thought the groom is good value for money. If you’re looking at trying a new groomers then 100% groom dog city is the perfect choice. Don’t go anywhere else- your pooch won’t thank you.

Stuart and his team are brilliant! I have been taking my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to GDC for many years now and always found them to be professional & friendly. They are passionate about what they do and really take great care with my little guy (who's getting into his senior years now). I used to live nearby which is why I initially started going there, however I have since moved half way across the city. I won't go anywhere else. For me it's worth the hour journey to know that my dog is in good hands. He always comes out looking fantastic too!

I have been taking my dog to the the team at Groom Dog City for more than eight years, both in previous premises and now in Ravenscroft Street. In fact now we live at the other side of London still travel there as no other groomers have ever cut my dog. Like a reluctant child going to the hairdressers he's never keen to go there but after a few minutes settles into the experience as Stuart and his team are wonderful with him. He has always received the best cut, exactly to our specifications - even when we want something slightly different to the 'standard' cut for his breed. We will keep going to Groom Dog City for the best service, the best cuts and a friendly and professional set of groomers who know how to make a customer happy.

The dog groom city team were wonderful, attentive and extremely welcoming to myself and my now beautifully cut labradoodle, Gertrude. Usually Gertrude struggles when getting her hair Cut, but Stuart knew exactly what to do to keep her calm and settled. She was relaxed and is now a very happy doodle with her new fluffy pampered coat. Definitely recommend this company to those who’s dogs struggle with anxiety when left without their owner or those who aren’t used to regular coat cuts. Brilliant!!

I bought my pug for her first ever groom here and i was very impressed. When i came in i was greeted warmly and with a great attitude. After briefly chatting about my dog and the condition of her fur (it has been quite bad because of lack of care by previous owners) they offered to use a sensitive skin shampoo on her which I thought was lovely. They also handled her with lots of love and care when we passed her over. When we came to pick her up she was spotless, her fur SO soft, her nails clipped and perfect and her ears and wrinkles had been cleaned.. she even had a little pink bow on her collar. I was really impressed and the price was very reasonable (£28.50), 100% would recommend.

Have been sending my dog to Stu and his team for almost seven years. Besides doing a fantastic job grooming and giving a consistent high quality cut, it’s quite evident they take special care of all of the pets that visit. Prices are very reasonable.

We've been taking our cockapoo Dobby here since he had his first cut, he's now 2. We've never had a bad experience and more importantly Dobby literally strains at his leash to get there when we get off the overground at Hoxton! He gets so excited. We've since moved out of the area but still travel back every 8-10 weeks for his grooming as he enjoys it so much and is always happy and bouncy when we pick him up. They're professional and caring which is so important to us as Dobby is important to us. I have no issues leaving him with them. They have a few grooming stations so more than one dog is normally getting groomed at any point. There are a few cages that are clean and spacious for the dogs to wait in if you're late picking your dog up. I find them well priced for the level of service they provide and how happy my dog always is . I'd thoroughly recommend Groom Dog City. The owner and ladies that work there are great. Thanks for looking after Dobby so well!

Roger, the sheepadoodle, almost always looks terrible after his grooming appointments in the United States. I usually just shave him one length. I trusted groom dog city to give him a proper cut to keep some length even though he was terribly matted. They did a fantastic job! I’ve never loved a hair cut on roger so much. Will probably have him shaved next time to save some money, but it’s amazing to have such good groomers near our flat. Highly recommend.

The only place I can trust to have my wire haired dachshunds groomed. They're always friendly, with a smile on their face and our dogs don't mind going there at all, which is pretty awesome given they're hand stripped for almost 2 hours!

My standard Scnauzer has been going to Groom Dog City since he was a puppy, he will be seven this year, yes I do spend more on my boys "fur do" than my own hair do but he always looks gorgeous. I take him to see his Uncle Sturat who takes great care of him and I know that he will come home looking and smelling fabulous. Prices are similar to elsewhere but I cannot imagine Duke being groomed anywhere else. Looking for a groomer give Groom Dog a try.
