My puppy is just 13 weeks old and excitable. I wasnt sure he would behave well enough for a groom but he loved Steph and was instantly comfortable with her. He normally hates being led away from me but he walked off with her completely unbothered. He was also not upset when I picked him up. Made me realise how comfortable she must make him feel and how gentle she is- my little pup is super spoiled by me! She only cut as much as I asked for so it was all perfect. Think we found little Charlies groomer for life! We will be back in 6 weeks for a proper trim.

My pup can be a bit shy about groomers, but Steph always takes her time and makes him feel comfortable. At this point, he runs out to the door to her when he sees her. When he comes back home, he’s always in pristine shape with the cutest cuts.

From my doggie's perspecitive she says "woof" - had a great time at the groomer, didn't feel stressed at all and I'm a bit on the neurotic side of dog life. From a guardian's perspective my dog came out looking even more beautiful than she went in; was totally non-stressed by the experience and seemed to bond with Steph the groomer. If the dog is happy then I'm happy. And the dog was happy. From a practical perspective booking was easy and Steph easily accommodated what we needed / wanted; drop off and pick up were easy too. Fair price for a beautiful job. Definitely five star service and experience!

Waffle walked to Hackney Groomers like the old extremely shaggy dog he is - or was. He emerged looking trim and young again - and skipped along rather pleased with himself. Full renovation. And we can see his eyes. Thank you Steph! Great job.

Steph was amazing with our puppy who had never been to the groomers before. She was able to instantly befriend our excitable but timid puppy and did a great job tidying her up and introducing her to the various grooming procedures including nail clipping, fur trimming, bathing and drying. She was also able to give us advice on home grooming and other things. Everything I would want from a groomer, thanks!

Steph was amazing with my newly rehomed doggy, I think he barely noticed I wasn't there he had such a good time! I don't think he'd ever been washed and had his nails clipped before, and he's very energetic, and she handled him perfectly. Will definitely be going back.

Pre-groom I booked my 5 month old West Highland / Poodle cross puppy in for a socialisation and tidy-up groom with Hackney Groomers based on word of mouth recommendations and having seen the results on other gorgeous dogs in the park. Steph's communication, responsiveness is warm yet incredibly professional and her website and social media are very easy to navigate so the booking is hassle-free and the payment is super quick. The transparency of her approach and services is all there and I felt super confident to leave my little boy in for his first groom. The real treat was actually meeting Steph in person, she sticks to a tight schedule and met me outside and spent time with my puppy before he happily wagged off in her arms. We agreed a pick up time and she texted me with a 10 min heads up. Post-groom My scraggly matted puppy whose adult coat was coming through and mashing up the puppy coat came out TRANSFORMED! Happy, wagging, confident, half the width and twice the height and he genuinely looked rejuvenated in his manner and strut! He smelled so delicious that his brother Bert couldn't stop sniffing him the whole way home. An excellent experience, a very high quality groom and a very HEALTHY HAPPY puppy. Stephanie is a very professional, conscientious groomer who makes our dog feel at ease and gives him a brilliant cut. There is also a lovely coffee shop nearby called the tram store which is worth going to during the procedure.

Steph is great! I handed over my dog who can be super anxious at times and he was immediately making friends with her. He didn't bat an eyelid when I left him for his groom and came back as relaxed as when he went in. His groom was just as I had instructed and he came back looking and smelling gorgeous. I will definitely use Hackney Groomers again as it was really reasonably priced and Steph was a pleasure to deal with.

Stephanie was wonderful with my shy Romanian rescue who took to her immediately. She gave him all the time he needed and was very responsive to his reactions. Steph was brilliant, I couldn't have made a better choice for my pup's first grooming session. Steph made him feel right at home so he was really happy letting her get on with things, and I received photos and updates both during and once the appointment was finished. He came back to me smelling and looking fresh, and he seems to have really enjoyed the experience too so wouldn't hesitate to book in for a follow up. Stephanie was super friendly and looked after our dog Billy for his first groom. He came out looking fresh and smelt divine! He is a spaniel so there are certain rules around what fur to cut etc and Stephanie was an expert. Billy was a little anxious around a hairdryer and Stephanie ensured she played with Billy in-between wash and dry so he was more relaxed. I would highly recommend Stephanie and Hackney Groomers!

I couldn't be happier with the groom Steph did for my young husky. She's a little nervous with handling, so I try to get her groomed regularly to help this. Steph talked me through what she thought would be best for Kali, asked about feedback she'd had from other groomers and took note of what in particular made her nervous. Kali came back fluffy, happy and smelling incredible. Steph's love for dogs is immediately apparent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services to other dog owners! We'll be back for sure :)

I can really recommend this grooming service. I booked in at short notice after my cockapoo puppy had a problem with getting his fur matted, which I was struggling to deal with. Steph managed to do a wonderful job with him, giving him a gorgeous cut at a good length, and dealing well with his nervousness about the process (as I know from experience!). He looked brilliant, and seemed very calm afterwards, and I was happy and relieved. Steph was very friendly and clearly very devoted to dogs as well. I will be going back for sure!
