I recently got in contact with Jamie about my 7 month old German shepherd due to her reactivity to other dogs on walks. Within a 2 hour session, Jamie had shown me a totally different side to Isla, she was happier and much easier to handle. Continuing on with the training after the session has been wonderful. My confidence when walking her has been restored and I can finally enjoy a walk without feeling stressed or anxious. I learnt so much about her in the session and feel like I understand her more. I’m so grateful for the session and would highly recommend Jamie!

We have a 7 month old German Shepard who has been very difficult to walk due to fear of moving vehicles. One session with Jamie helped turn this around! He is extremely knowledgeable in both helping you understand your dog and its needs and what it’s feeling along with guiding you as a dog owner in what best suits you and your dog. He is a very humble, genuine guy wanting to actually help you and your dog understand each other. Highly recommended.

Jamie was recommended to us by a neighbour for our (then) 6 month old GSD. We’ve used him now on a few occasions to address some issues we had such as lead walking and recall training. We found Jamie to be extremely knowledgable and was willing to spend time showing us the best techniques to help not only my dog but us too! He’s a no-nonsense guy who’ll tell you exactly what your/your dogs faults are and how to improve! Our GSD is now 9 months and a LOT better behaved right across the board thanks to Jamie. Over just a couple of sessions, I’ve got a much better understanding of how to bring out the best in my pup while making sure she’s happy, healthy and having fun. She loves the sessions and I gain the education and tools to continue her development myself between sessions. Jamie is an excellent dog trainer – or dog whisperer, as me and my husband call him. I phoned him for help with our 7-month old working line German Shepherd puppy, who'd been anxious and territorial around other dogs, trying to attack them; he also attacked a couple of people. We contacted Jamie after a distressing session with another trainer, who told us that our puppy was very aggressive and 'needed to be broken'. We wanted to work with our dog, not 'break him', and we desperately needed help. We're thrilled we've found Jamie. He was wonderful with our GSD. Knowing about his issues, he met us with another calm German Shepherd in a busy park, where we saw lots of other dogs and dog walkers. He showed us exactly how to handle our puppy, how to give him direction and how to praise him. Our puppy was following Jamie's calm lead confidently and matched Jamie's calm demeanour with his. Jamie is open, modest, professional and knowledgeable, and most of all, he deeply cares about dogs. He's shown us what our dog is capable of when led well and how we can communicate with him on his level. He's left us with lots of valuable advice and continued support. We couldn't be more grateful and honestly can't recommend him enough.

Jamie has been guiding us through the training of our German Shepherd pup since we brought him home a few months ago. The progression since then has been phenomenal! Jamie's extensive knowledge on breed history and dog behaviour is reflected through the way our pup acts. Jamie teaches you how to understand what your dog needs and what they are trying to tell you so that training can be tailored effectively. During our time together so far, Jamie has introduced training exercises that have resulted in our puppy's focus and drive being moulded into positive results such as our pup's recall ability. Even with multiple distractions in the park, the pup remains focused on you and always comes back. Additionally, Jamie has helped me understand the importance of corrections through his tailored approach such as quickly spotting aggressive behaviour of our pup towards other dogs before they become significant. With Jamie's help, we have managed to prevent these behaviours and our pup has been playing with other dogs more each day, making me more confident to approach similar situations. I would highly recommend Jamie for training, especially with larger breeds, you won't regret it! Having someone who is incredibly knowledgeable, rapidly responsive and cares for your dog as if they're his own is so valuable and I look forward to continue working with Jamie in the future. We Called Jamie desperate for help with our English Bulldog basically being aggressive towards other dogs and various other behaviour problems. Jamie seemed very knowledgeable and very confident over the phone that he could help and that we would see a noticeable difference after just one session. To be perfectly honest and knowing how stubborn our dog is I honestly thought he would have met his match. Oh how wrong I was. Within about 20 mins of arriving Jamie had him sitting not jumping up and much calmer in his behaviour. Then when Jamie explained why he was displaying this behaviour and that it was actually our own fault through what we were doing it all fell into place, he even involved my grown up children answering their questions and giving great advice. After an hour Jamie decided it was time for a walk and to say i was scared of what would happen if my dog saw another while out was an understatement. However we encountered numerous dogs while out without him even barking at the other dogs, he even stayed clam and touched noses with another dog. An hour before if someone told me this was possible I would have laughed in there face. Jamie is amazing at what he does, we have another session booked in already and I honestly couldn't recommend him high enough. He did more in 20 mins than I had done in 8 months, the guy is a genius if you have any problems with your dog call Jamie you won't regret it.....we certainly don't. Thanks Jamie you have made our lives easier and we now have a much happier and calmer dog.

Jamie implemented some changes into our routine and life with our 10 month working line German Shepherd that have completely transformed our relationship with him. I have to admit I didn’t expect a golden ticket before meeting because I knew nothing would be immediate but one of the changes really does feel like the golden ticket and I’m so happy with how things have now improved enormously since. We generally thought we had nailed a lot of things with our GSD as we had taught him many obedience training commands but it was the aggression that we had unknowns in and this is where jamie helped us. He made us look at a few things in a completely different light (which again was unexpected as we’ve read so much online and watched so many videos for help). This has made us better manage and control our dog and feel a lot more confident in being his owners and building our relationship with him. Jamie also really cares and has a genuine passion for these dogs and it’s really appreciated that he often checks in with us to see how things have gone since our consultation. We had been searching for a dog trainer to help us with our 3 year old German Shepard Kobi. Kobi is a lovely dog & very friendly but a little “unruly”; often pulling on the lead & can sometimes be a little snappy with smaller dogs. So we felt it was important, given his size to nip this in the bud! We came across Jamie online, which took us to his Impressive Instagram page, which we advise you check out! Jamie is a natural, Kobi paid immeasurable attention to Jamie from the moment he met him. Over the course of a two hour session we had Kobi walking much better on lead & completely ignoring other dogs. Through several tips & advice from Jamie our Mindsets have changed and Kobi has improved in behaviour & obedience. My Partner & I most certainly recommend Jamie’s knowledge & evident love for dogs! Wow! Jamie is a dog whisperer. We spent 2 hours with him working on some not desirable behaviour our puppy has been exhibiting. By the end of the session there were already improvements and 5 days later, sticking to his plan, she is improving all the time. His methods are simple but work and he checks in to see all is good a few days later. He really cares about your dog. And if anything arose after our session (it didn’t) I know we could call on him for advice. Jamie brings with him knowledge, good energy, and a sense of humour. He was great with our kids who wanted in on the training and patient with the adults too! Most importantly he’s taught us how to be a better leader to our dog and how to help our dog become the best she can. I can’t wait to work with him again on some tricks with pup.

We have a Rottweiler x English mastiff who we were having trouble training, he would not listen to instruction and he would do what he wanted whenever he wanted and got very aggressive/defensive at times around larger treats, after Jamie's visit he has started to do as instructed and as more days pass become more responsive to our commands, we didn't realise how important our reactions and directions towards my dog are as important if not more so. We can't thank Jamie enough for his help and guidance with Jerry's training and would recommend him to any dog owner who needs the help and guidance we needed.

Jamie began working with us to help control our two excitable German Shepherds and tackle their prey drive and aggression toward the other animals on our farm. Unlike the many other trainers we had tried, he had the dogs and animals living in harmony in a short space of time - our dogs were finally listening! My 1 year old Rottweiler is a big boy and is full with energy! Because he's a from a working line I needed to get him trained proper! My Rottie lacked focus and would often ignore commands. He would also cry and lunge towards other dogs. Jamie's understanding and patience with dogs is second to none! All of my questions were answered and my Rottweiler was finally focused on Me and that too off-leash! And that was all within two Hours! I definitely look forward to working with Jamie again soon! He honestly is a godsend!

Firstly i would just like to thank you again Jamie for the time and patience that you took with our Major. Major is an 11 month old Belgian Malinois, who up until your visit was very hyperactive and unmanageable to walk on a lead. At the start of the session Major was unsure at first and became very agressive towards Jamie. Jamie was very professional, remaining calm and patient showing Major that he himself, was not a threat. During this time, Jamie began to discuss Majors behaviours, diet and daily routine etc.... Me and my partner was provided with alot of information and guidance for how to care for Major. Jamie definatly knows his stuff and we both found him very knowledgeable and informative. Once Major had calmed near Jamie we walked around Majors regualr routes, and his area to play fetch. Jamie then introduced us to a new way of play for Major to ensure that his play time was spent fullfilling our dogs needs to release his energy effectively. By the time our two hour session was complete I can honestly say that me and my partner were well informed and our Major had made a new friend in Jamie. Honestly if your dog needs training or you need information and guidance on how to manage your dog then Jamie is your man. Our Major is like a new dog with the training and information that has been implemented into our home since Jamies visit.. Jamie the dog whisperer, your amazing..... keep doing what your doing. Nevis - German Shepherd Harkin as been such a help to our boisterous five month old puppy. Our German shepherd was going crazy and we weren’t educated on what was best for him- all I knew was positive only training as it benefited my Labrador to an extent. Harkin educated us on a balanced training and the 80/20 rule. After using the prong collar along with all of Harkin’s training techniques our puppy has shaped up into an extremely obedient and disciplined dog. Our dog is only a year and a few months now and there is still a long way for him but we are assured that with harkin’s future training he will be the perfect adult dog. Harkin also is very responsive on WhatsApp and will be there with any concerns. 10/10
