Kate & Shay are the perfect cat sitters, I've used their services for the last 3 years after my vet recommended them as trustworthy & caring - which they've proved to be. I have a very nervous rescue cat but she immediately took to them at first meeting! On my last trip, my flight home was cancelled at the last minute but it was no problem for Lucky Paws to schedule an extra feeding until I could get home again the next day. Very happy with them in every way :)

I’ve used Lucky Paws for about 2 years now. They are absolutely fantastic! I regularly travel, and I feel really comfortable and secure knowing they take care of my cats so well when I am away from home. They respond really quickly to any query - and have never failed to agree to any request - no matter how short notice. My favourite thing of all is that they post an Instagram picture of my cats each morning or evening after they’ve visited. It gives me such reassurance and peace of mind to see my cats happy and fed! I cannot praise Kate & Shay of Lucky Paws enough! We have used their services, both cat sitting and dog walking, for over two years now. To add proof to how much we love and trust them, when it came time for us to relocate flats, we dared not look beyond their travel borders. The idea of 'losing' them was too much to handle. The amount of love I/we have for them goes beyond words. These women literally held our ol' man Johnnie in their arms as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I wanted this to be a good alternative to the cattery and to support a local business. Very friendly to deal with but in practice it was a sloppy and rushed service. I totally understand the pressures of running a small business but when you tell a customer on the phone that you spend 15 minutes with the pet and not 30 like other companies then you shouldn’t rush in and out in 4 minutes. Otherwise the customer feels like you’re trying to squeeze in more customers on their time. I’m not suggesting it is out of greed, it appears to be a very busy business but that doesn’t mean it is profitable. However with customer’s smart home technology now it is easy to get caught out on that and the customer feels lied to. If that were the only thing it might not have pushed me to write this but said technology also allowed us to see our pet was given 2 bowls full of treats instead of his vet prescribed oral care food on the first day. Something that would have continued had we not had this option of checking. The massive bag was pointed out on the set up visit, in contrast the treat bags are tiny. Also, contrary to what we were told, the cat poo was not taken out (I might suggest the large outdoor wheelie bins) but chucked in our indoor recycling to smell the kitchen up. Neither were the forms with all our personal and vet details taken. it remains in our house in the wet food box that you would have had to put your hand past to get to the food. It just seems like zero attention was paid. The initial set up visit was rushed but I trusted that you had it all in hand. I appreciate you were having trouble with cars that day but maybe that should have been a an alarm bell to us. At the end of the day our cat is our baby and we wanted the best for him. Unfortunately this wasn’t it.
