Robin's commitment to an intuitive style of training, using simple, universally recognised hand signals and sounds is very effective. After the Ten Day Puppy Bootcamp, my Golden Retriever came to me fully potty trained, responding to his name and location commands, and, of course, well-mannered and calm. Not sure what else you could hope for!

R.I had initially called Robin several months before we ultimately started working together. From the onset, he provided me with extensive, relevant info to make decisions on a suitable puppy and what my family needed to prepare for and be aware of (we are first time dog owners).
Once we formally started working together, Robin was extremely professional and combined that with genuine warmth and understanding. He generated a great deal of trust and confidence in him. As such, we continued to expand the scope of his services which included sourcing our puppy, pre-training before arriving home and ongoing support (bouts of new training, dog walking, dog boarding).
The overall outcome has been, and still is, exceptional - we know that our dog (and family) is in good hands with Robin, not least because our puppy formed such a close mutual relationship with Robin.

A. S.My puppy came back from Robin 2 weeks ago. He went to do the 10 day bootcamp. I can personally highly recommend Robin as the care and attention that he had given to my dog was evident when he returned him. Robin sent me daily text updates with photos and even a few video montages set to music which I loved. We also did a few face times as I was really missing my puppy! He spent a long time doing the handover with me at the end of the 10 days when he dropped him back and explained all about what he had done during the training. He also helped me to integrate the puppy with my 10 year old dog as they were not getting along when I first got the puppy! When Teddy left to go to Robin, he was very wild natured and peeing around the house more than 30 times a day. It was exhausting!
Teddy came back a much calmer dog, who very happily slept for 12 hours at night in his crate with no crying and no accidents. He was also biting much less and was happy to be washed and brushed. Teddy arrived at Robin with a parasite in his tummy for which he had just started antibiotics for, and Robin nursed him back to full health cooking him special meals to help his tummy. He put in him into a great routine with food as it was all a bit of a mess before he went to Robin. We have stuck with his routine and it is working perfectly. There were of course a few days of adjustment to moving back into my house where I probably didn't notice the signals and there were a few accidents, but Robin advised me of what to do those first few days frequently on the phone and even came to see us at home to show us what to do and my puppy is now fully house trained at 12 weeks. During this first few days of adjustment, Robin also offered to have Teddy back for a few more days with no charge which I thought was extremely kind but I decided to wait to see if things would change once he settled - which they did (as this was what happened with my older dog after she had done a bootcamp elsewhere).
I have had many dogs throughout my life and have used many different trainers and I can honestly say that I am so happy with the service that is offered by Robin. What is most valuable is that I know that any other questions I may have in other aspects of raising a puppy, Robin is just a call away and can help me. For now, I am just enjoying having a well trained puppy to have lots of fun with. Robin is an incredibly nice man who is clearly not financially motivated, but simply has a genuine passion for dogs which is extremely refreshing especially in these Covid times where many dog services are being exploited.
If you have a new puppy and you want someone to wave a magic wand to make them calm, sleep through the night, house trained, obedient and on a good feeding schedule - Robin is your man!!!

He makes himself available to answer any questions the owner may have & he looks after one’s dog as if it were his own. His love of dogs is quite remarkable. Dogs feel safe & happy around him and they can learn several commands from him.
L. H.I would definitely recommend Robin! I called him to get some advice about what service I would need for some training with my 5 month old puppy. Even though I was not in his catchment area, Robin took the time to go through some techniques I could try and even recommended somewhere to take my dog to socialise him with dogs and people which was one of the problems I was having! If I ever move to Robin’s area and get a new dog I will be using him :)

S. P.Robin helped us with leash walking techniques which have really helped since. He also gave us back some control over our puppy through various techniques. He was patient with our questions and has also been available offline for some of my random questions since. As first time owners this goes a long way as there are always those quick checks to ease your mind. We are a lot more confident since too. Still a long learning curve for us but this has helped put us on a good footing.
A. S.Robin is highly skilled and intuitive with all dogs and their owners. I called him to ask for his help controlling my dog around squirrels. He never criticised me; instead he spoke gently yet with true expertise and confidence, and he has helped me feel in control and confident with my dog. He may be pricey but he’s definitely worth it!

Initially Dingo went to Robin for a week of ‘puppy boarding school’ and came back socialised, toilet trained, happy and well behaved. Robin’s training consists of clear and simple commands, plus tips and techniques which the whole family are able to put to use consistently and confidently. I had a great session with Robin, and my walks with my dog Roman have been going from strength to strength ever since.
The biggest thing I came away with was a renewed confidence with Roman, and the realisation that if I took control of the walk, Roman would in turn begin to listen to me, look to me as a leader, and ultimately be much more relaxed when meeting other dogs. I would often get anxious when other dogs approached, and now practice deep breathing on my walks (which Robin suggested) and this has really helped.
Since the session, Roman has had loads of really great interactions with dogs, and each good interaction raises my confidence even further.
I have recommended Robin to other dog owners, as I can really vouch for his techniques, his kind nature with dogs and his way of helping people understand their dogs. We only spent one hour together, but in that time I learnt more than any other trainer or Youtube tutorial has taught me. Thank you Robin! "
M. M.Robin taught me some very effective methods for calming down my seven year old dog. And he did it in just over an hour. I guess you can teach an oldish dog new tricks. And his owner too.
E. G.We have a delightful poodle who is loving and gentle.. however... since we got her we have not been able to watch any tv programmes that contain animals. And to be clear that includes cartoons and believe it or not, poppy would go crazy at even a drawing of a cow that came on the tv. She would bark like crazy and run to the tv almost knocking it over with her attempts to get to the animals.
When we contacted Robin we were sceptical. He told us that one hours visit should be enough. Yeah right.
Robin arrived and spoke to us about poppy for a while and then shared with us some tips as to how to take over as the “protector” in the relationship. The results were immediate and incredible. One hour later Robin left and I FINALLY managed to watch an episode of Serengeti which I’ve been waiting to watch for months, with Poppy curled up next to me.
As a natural sceptic I can’t tell you how delighted we are with the results. It’s not even 24 hours since we saw Robin and both my wife and I, and probably Poppy too, are amazed at the shift in behaviour.
A great investment into our family life!
