Gonçalo is really competent and made an instant connection with our puppy. He gave us clear instructions and lots of helpful advice both about training and diet for our dog. This has made a really big difference and we’re very happy with our dog’s progress so far. Would highly recommend

Our female mini schnauzer has made amazing progress since she started training with Gonçalo. She is less reactive and responds to commands much better than she did before. We call Gonçalo ‘the dog whisperer’ because he is so calm and gentle with dogs and we trust him 100%!

Gonçalo was amazing in teaching us how get our dog used to alone time! Gonçalo started to help train our mini Daschund Bowie early on when he was only a few months old and he has been an invaluable source of advice and help ever since! He is kind and patient and full of good insights, tips and tricks on everything from nutrition to classic training. He is also lovely company and Bowie adores him.

High recommend Pawsitive Tribe! We did a few different sessions with Gonçalo when we got our sausage dog puppy Hank. It made a world of difference as well as giving us the confidence in training our first dog. We went back a year later when Hank began to have reactivity issues and Gonçalo again was a huge help - so attentive and knowledgable to Hank's needs. 10/10!

We booked a training session with Goncalo because our dog was getting hard to manage outside and sometimes we didn't know how to properly engage him inside. Goncalo offered training according to his needs and gave us many helpful games to tire him as well as teaching our dog how to behave well outside and that walks can be pleasant for both participants. Not only that, but we also learnt a great deal about nutrition from him and will never go back to kibble. We also booked daycare, and were very pleased with service especially as our had a health condition which limits his running and playing time (which is harder to manage because our dog always wants to play). We were sent regular updates were our dog (Kody) looked very happy, it is lovely to have someone we trust with our dog and can have peace of mind whilst our dog is with Goncalo. Highly recommend!

We were recommended Gonçalo by other dog owners in the area, so booked in a few training sessions for our puppy Kuma. After the first session Gonçalo was able to get Kuma walking much better on the lead, also giving us so much insight into things we hadn’t even thought of with regards to diet and training needs. Much more than just sit, stay and lay down. Gonçalo Is very flexible with times and meeting places which really helps with slotting in training amongst a busy life. We’ve taken on all his advice and are proud of where our dog is with his training and will certainly be using him again!

We worked with Gonçalo with our Shar Pei puppy. He educated us on the advantages of a raw diet and we’ve been raw ever since with a very healthy now 2 year old. The Shar Pei breed is known to be very stubborn! He helped us with recall, commands, walking on the lead and general puppy training. He’s friendly, knowledgeable and our dog adores him. Goncalo and Sara have been a great support in the first part of our training journey of our GSD. They helped train and develop him in his core commands and as he grew into himself. We also used Sara’s walking services which is an amazing resource to be able to call upon. She helped to socialise Neo to London’s very noisy sights and sometimes frightening sounds. Their knowledge, patience and calm natures are so reassuring. Goncalo and Sara are 100% trustworthy and have a wonderful compassion and understanding of dogs. A combination which is invaluable.

We had a great experience training our nervous rescue puppy with Gonçalo. He helped us to understand using positive reinforcement to overcome fear and gave us techniques to work on this over time, as well as basic training such as walking on a loose lead and advice on feeding and more. We would have had more sessions if we weren’t moving out of the area and I would recommend!

Gonçalo has worked wonders with my dog Scout. He trained her from 4 months old which gave me lots of reassurance as a new puppy owner. The best part was how much Scout loved every time when he came for a session. He knew exactly how much she could absorb in a session and when she needed cuddles and play time. He gave us lots of advice on food, walks, recall and all the really useful things like teaching her her name! The training has stuck so well. She is such a well-behaved, happy dog and we definitely owe that to Goncalo’s early training.

First class. Gonçalo applies his expert knowledge in a very customised way, taking time to understand the animal (and the humans) involved. Training sessions were very effective - and good fun too - and gave us the opportunity to ask lots of questions about how best to integrate our rescue dog into the family.

I can not recommend Gonçalo and Pawsitive Tribe highly enough. He came into our lives when we had a 9 week old miniature Dachshund, Monty, and we were completely out of our depth on how to train him. Gonçalo came to our house once a week for a month and helped us teach Monty basic commands and even how to walk with him using recall. I credit Gonçalo completely in helping Monty grow up to be a very social, well behaved and absolutely joyful dog.
