s. a.Having been let down by our groomer...a dog friend recommended Alex (Flawless Paws). We have never looked back. Even when I text her at short notice she always manages to fit Ruby in for a bath and haircut.
Alex is so good with Ruby ...she is a rescue springer spaniel and a bit nervous at first. Not now...she always comes out looking lovely.
I would recommend Flawless Paws every time
s. k.Our Field Spaniel Max has been groomed by Alex at 'Flawless Paws' for a number of years now. He really enjoys his visits and always comes back looking really handsome. He tends to get overheated very easily so Alex needs to trim his fur very short, which takes particular time, effort and attention to detail. Max visits around every 8-9 weeks to keep his coat under control as he's always out in the fields collecting mud and dirt, so a short coat is vital to him and his owners! Alex always gives us a report on anything she notices when she is dealing with Max, which is a great reassurance to us and demonstrates practically the care she attaches to the work she does.
C. B.Our Golden Retriever, Bentley, has been attending Doggy Day Care at Flawless Paws for 3 months now.
He was just 3 months old when he started going for 1 day/week, and it's been the best decision we made for our lovely pup! His socialisation and behavioural skills have developed marvellously, and he's always very happy (and very tired!) after a day of playing and learning.
Alex is phenomenal - She is extremely professional; caring; knowledgable; and keeps us updated with messages and photos throughout each session. We know he's in very safe hands, and wouldn't have it any other way!
Bentley adores Alex, and all the other Doggy Day Care regulars, and it's such a welcome sight to see him eager to run off and get involved. I couldn't recommend Alex and her services enough!
S. D.Alex is a fabulous dog groomer. She really cares about my dog, who really doesn’t like water or being groomed. Alex is efficient and patient and Ivy comes home, tail wagging, looking immaculate and smelling wonderful!
Ivy loves the little fish and bone shaped treats that Alex sells on her website.
Alex is really dedicated to her own dogs and understands a lot about behaviour and habits and readily gives advice.
Ivy also went to the puppy training class Alex runs and I still use the commands we learnt there together.

Even at short notice she manages to fit him in and is so good and letting me know if she spots anything while grooming him. She's thorough and he always comes back looking amazing. We have also been to puppy training the past and that was so helpful.

My girl is quite timid and not a fan of being groomed but always comes back with a soft, beautiful knot free coat and posh paws. Alex clearly adores dogs and her knowledge is fantastic.

C. S.The Flawless Paws food is now the only biscuits that we buy for our fussy border collie. Now every time we buy a new bag of food she gets so exited sniffing the bag all over. There are so many different flavours and types to choose from to suit any dietary need, find something your dog will love and keep them from getting bored. I couldn’t recommend more.
J. W.An absolute one stop shop for your pup! Alex has helped us to identify and overcome some anxiety in our dog and now he's as happy as can be. Daycare twice a week and he's so excited to go and exhausted at the end. His behaviour has improved massively with the training he's had and the space the dogs have to play in is vast and secure. He has also had his grooming done there when needed and always looks great after it. Alex has also used her hydrotherapy pool to help him learn to swim as he wasn't water confident. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
A. S.Alex has been grooming Winnie. my springer spaniel, since she was a puppy and Winnie is nearly 3 years old now. Whatever I have requested it has been done professionally and with perfection. Sometimes I leave it upto Alex as to what she thinks is a best cut for her and she never disappoints.
