2 shelties and 1 Border collie
The word happy with my 3 dogs progress since starting training with Emma doesnt cover it. I had bark alot bounce alot and you’ve got to be kidding to everything alot.
We started with the youngest he was scared of his own shadow. One session with Emma and her dog and he dropped from 10 aggressive terrified may need a muzzle to a 2 walking and laying down right next to Emma’s beautiful labrador not really bothered. If I hadn’t of seen it I wouldn’t of believe it. The next day i was able to take him shopping he was like a different dog others said the same. Emma also gave me some tips to use with all the dogs at home and we continue with the collie’s training. At home all dogs started to be a lot calmer with just a few changes and rules. My eldest sheltie was scared if horses so Emma arranged for a horse to be in the same field as him, by the end of the session he was walking down the road next to the horse, it was crazy how quickly it happened.
Emma has an incredible talent with dogs.
Emma is knowledgeable, approachable caring and very patient, she is a lovely girl and i am so very greatful to of met her and i would HIGHLY recommend her. I am ecstatic with my boys progress. I personally think if you have a problem with your dog you would be mad not to visit Emma.

Not too sure where to start, Emma has changed our lives!! We can now go for walks with Lola without the stress and worry of losing her chasing deer, squirrels, birds and basically anything that moves. Emma's methods are proven time and time again. We now have a much calmer dog and family as a result 😊
Lola absolutely adores Emma, which demonstrates dogs thrive when boundaries are set. Emma has taught us so much about being a dog owner, she is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and humans 😉 as we all know it's really about training the owners as much as the dogs.
Cannot recommend Emma enough, if you want to nail excellent recall, reduce/eliminate prey drive to keep your dog safe and happy, Emma is your trainer.

Well what can I say. My lovely dog was a total nightmare everytime he was off the lead or near other dogs. I was apprehensive about the training but when I witnessed first hand how other dogs Emma trained were transformed I knew I needed to do this for my dog and for well for all of us really. It was by far the best decision I have made since owning a dog. The change was almost instant and I now have an amazing dog who enjoys all his walks off lead allowing him to be just that a dog and me to get the most amazing experiences with him without the prior fear that I would never see him again or him totally ignore me and not come back. Emma has never criticised my dog parenting and only offer support and constructive well thought out approaches to training throughout our journey. No words could be given to thank Emma enough for giving me the dog I always wanted and the confidence to go forward and build on it knowing she is always there if I need her.

So, I have just walked round the woods WITH my dog! It may not sound like much to some people, but to me it is a dream come true. I was always the sad person with a lead around my neck explaining to people that I do have a dog, she is just chasing squirrels at the moment. I could spend a whole walk just seeing her whizz by every so often and fluctuate between enjoyment and terror in a flash when she went out of sight and the bell round her collar went silent. Emma has changed all that with her wonderful recall training!
There were times when we thought my dog may have been too much of a challenge for Emma, but her patience, understanding, training methods and perseverance really worked.
It has been 3 weeks since we officially finished our training and handover with Emma and I can honestly say I am absolutely thrilled. I have taken my dog out to every place I used to avoid in the past due to her chasing after scents and squirrels and forgetting I was with her! She now stays close to me and ignores the squirrels even when they run in front of her. It is so lovely to finally have company on a walk. I can’t recommend Emma and her training enough!
Thank you Emma for everything you have done for us! You said at the beginning that this would change our life and you were so right.

I used to come home from walking my GWP and cry. I felt our only option was to re home him to someone in Scotland where he could hunt safely.
Rollo would hunt on walks, crossing roads, risking life and limb to himself and others. We couldn’t carry on like that and then someone recommended Emma.
I didn’t think she could really fix him but her boot camp recall has done just that.
Yesterday we walked in Windsor Great Park with a herd of 300 red deer! Rollo was a dream dog. Today in the woods he watched, he pointed , had a fab walk but always stayed in touch with me. I had control and he was a happy dog😊.
Emma@ Priestlands is a miracle worker and we can’t thank her enough. She has literally made us sane again. I would not hesitate to recommend her to help you and your dog.

Fantastic experience all round. We have worked with Emma over a three month period with our rescue dog, who presented with both high drive and a complex set of individual needs. The service has been extremely professional, with clear direction which took not only the rescue dogs need into consideration but also the needs of our other dogs and us too! Working with clear guidelines, regular feedback on a tailored and bespoke programme made a journey which could have been very stressful actually enjoyable. The end results are exactly what we discussed achieving and we couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Emma has totally transformed not only our walks but also our understanding of our dog. I would highly recommend her. When we first started, Harris was pulling on the lead, displaying high prey drive and showing absolutely no impulse control around other dogs. Very quickly, Emma established an impressive rapport with him and we haven't looked back. She has given us a clear plan of action, and in turn we've learned a huge amount and now feel totally confident to walk him anywhere.

My beautiful dog is pretty much perfect…in my eyes…apart from one major vice. Her prey drive is off the scale and after a near fatal incident where the deer she was chasing turned and attacked her, resulting in life-saving heart surgery (plus treatment for several fractured ribs and a gored hind leg!) I knew that I had to do something…and fast. Fully recovered some months later we saw Emma and embarked on a recall training course. Not only did Emma instill confidence but her methods worked very quickly. My dog absolutely loved her and she was soon able to go off lead with consistently reliable recall. I practised on my own after Emma was satisfied that I could replicate her training and now I can walk anywhere with total confidence that I can recall and stop my dog from ever repeating the horrific ordeal she endured. If you are thinking of doing any recall training (along with general good manners and behaviour!) I do not hesitate in recommending Emma. Her passion, knowledge and expertise has given my dog her freedom back to enjoy walking happily and safely. Thank you Emma from the both of us - we think you are the best!

We got our dog Baxter as a re-home from the Border Terrier Welfare Trust as a two year old. His CV said he was a bit boisterous with other dogs. Huge understatement.....he was a nightmare!! Having been to another trainer for help which just didn't work, we met Emma. To say she was brilliant is another understatement . She has the most professional, no nonsense approach to dog training (and owner training) and the results started to show almost immediately. I know it's a review cliche but I really could not recommend her highly enough.

Emma is an excellent trainer. Her individual classes, group classes and pack walks are brilliant. She reads dogs so well. Thanks to her training, my dog no longer mouths when over excited, he no longer pulls on the lead, and his recall is great!

Emma understands dogs and owners and is patient with both. She has enabled me to finally become the type of owner I want to be. Socks adored his sessions. She gives directions for us to work on in order to achieve realistic goals. She is a mine of information and a consummate problem solver. Thanks

Highly recommended for recall work and truly understanding and resolving behavioural issues. The advice is always clear, manageable and makes me a better handler. Thanks to Priestlands Dogs I have a much better relationship with my spaniel and a happier, calmer dog.

After one session, my boy Loki is already better behaved walking on the lead! Highly recommend!

I have to say I’m very impressed with them from start to finish...AND afterwards! Instant results - I honestly can hardly recognise it's the same dog. The one that used to bark at everything and chase horses until she was kicked.

I came to Emma with my teenage dog due to several episodes of him running off which culminated in him running down a main road in rush hour.
Emma is very confident and competent dog trainer. She fully understood my problem and my anxiety and immediately took a hold of the situation which gave me a lot more confidence.
Following several weeks of intense training my dog really turned the corner and I’m now left with the tools to cope with any unexpected situations, which in fact rarely happen now.
I would throughly recommend anyone who is seeking true guidance to dog behaviour and training problems.
