Lisa has,been amazing helping us to learn ways to manage and understand our dog Lexi's anxious behaviours. With Lisa's support and guidance we now see a much calmer and happier Lexi which in turn makes those humans around her much calmer and happier. Lexi has even progressed to socialising with another dog which we thought could never happen. We can't thank Lisa enough for her patience, kindness and gentle approach, not just towards Lexi but with us as well. Everyone needs a Lisa in their lives.

In November I rescued a Romanian street dog, and soon realised that I was a bit out of my depth. Lisa and I had a lengthy discussion in which we talked about the issues Poppy and I were facing, and Lisa talked me through what she could do to help us. It was clear to me from this call that Lisa is passionate about what she does, and she has an incredible understanding of dogs, particularly rescue dogs. We had our first session ahead of Christmas as we were going to be spending the holidays with family who have a reactive dog. Lisa prepared me with some really useful pointers on how to get Poppy comfortable travelling in the car, meeting my parents' reactive dog, and settling in a strange house. The first few days weren't easy, but Lisa was always on hand and more than happy to talk me through the issues I was having, explaining why Poppy was behaving the way she was, and offering practical solutions - which always worked! Since Christmas, we've had the rest of our sessions (we booked a package of 8), and in that time, we've gone from me being dragged everywhere with little-no control whatsoever whilst Poppy reacted to every dog she saw, and me fruitlessly yelling at Poppy to get off the bed/sofa/stop surfing on the kitchen counter, to a dog who walks beautifully on a lead, reacts far less to other dogs, settles in the house and can be comfortably left alone, and running freely on a long line with a really good recall. Lisa has give me so much confidence as a dog owner, and Poppy absolutely adores her - she's never happier than when I open the door and Lisa's standing there! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa and GreenDog Dog Training, and we will certainly be booking some top-up training sessions in the future because we love working with Lisa.

Today, the 3rd of September 22, was only the second training Session we had with Lisa. We explained to Lisa on our first session, that we had made all the mistakes with our older Dog Ruby, but Lisa kept Ruby involved in the session too, all be with Treats, but Ruby was still made to feel important also. Literally, in less than a week, our new addition Thorn, a Jack Russell, is sitting, laying down, getting down, leaving things, all on command. It is amazing how quick he has learnt to do all this, and all because of Lisa and her total understanding of Dog Behavior. Lisa answered all questions and queries we put to her, but answered them in such ways that it made us look at things differently, and more from the Dog's perspective, it all made perfect sense. We are having a total of 8 weekly sessions, 1 every Saturday, it's a one on one too, which we find absolutely awesome because there no other Doggy distractions for Thorn, well only Ruby. Lisa, we can't thank, or rate you highly enough, you make so much sense whenever you talk, and you are really nice and funny too. I would happily recommend you to anyone that asks about Dog trainers, in our opinion, there simply can't be anyone better out there. Like I mentioned to you today, the one on one Training in our own home is the only way to go. Saturday 16th September. Another amazing Training Session with Lisa. Thorn is now walking to Heal without a Lead in our Garden. We took Thorn visiting this morning to our Granddaughters House to say Happy Birthday, Thorn Behaved himself so much it needed to be seen to be believed, to see 2 Rabbits was a first and they scared him. lol. We still can't get our Heads round Thorn's progress, and Ruby too. You are Right Lisa, old Dogs can be taught new tricks, Ruby proves that. Thank you so much Lisa. Bill. Sharon, Thorn and Ruby. xx

Lisa was amazing and has worked absolute wonders with our puppy who started a training programme with her at 10 weeks. She’s flexible, supportive, a fantastic trainer and makes the sessions fun. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Cannot speak highly enough of Lisa, she is super friendly and absolutely amazing at what she does. Her love for dogs is apparent and it shows in her training methods. I sought out a trainer when I got my second dog and was suddenly faced with the reality I had bitten off more than I could chew and still had gaps in training with the first…and I am so glad I did. Lisa immediately put me at ease and has been a true godsend over the last weeks. She has taught me so much already, built my confidence and been at the end of the phone whenever I have needed her. If you are looking for someone to teach you how to train the perfect companion, and have fun whilst you are doing it then look no further…I cannot recommend her highly enough and am looking forward to continuing to work with her and my boys!

Lisa was amazing with my anxious, over stimulated Dachshund. She was so so knowledgeable that it made me at ease and confident in her training techniques. Always at the end of the phone if i needed any guidance or reassurance. After 4 weeks, i can now walk my dog, knowing i'm armed with the skills to deal with any anxious behaviour which has made walks with my dog much more enjoyable. One of the best trainers out there!

I cannot express the level of reassurance and professionalism that Lisa has provided us in training with our Great Dane so far. In choosing a large breed dog I knew that I would personally be dedicated in providing a good level of training to our puppy, but having limited knowledge and confidence I love having the opportunity to discuss things with Lisa. I’ve trained my own dogs all my life and this is the first time I’ve required additional help from a professional and I’m so glad that Lisa was the person I connected with. My dog is a very strong willed, stubborn adolescent Olde English Bulldogue and whilst I’ve managed to teach him some of the basics, there was so much I was struggling with from getting him to walk without towing me around at his leisure like a kite in the wind to helping him interact on a social level in a calm and acceptable way. Lisa’s understanding of a dog’s psyche is so deep it’s something to behold! We’re only three sessions into our program and already my dog is walking with a relaxed lead, he’s more engaged with me when we’re out and about, which then allows me to have a greater influence over him when needing to give a command or course-correct his behavior. He’s also way more socially sensitive when it comes to interacting with other dogs and dog owners, which is to the benefit everyone. If you’re looking for someone to help you build a genuine bond of respect, communication and collaboration with your dog, then I’d pick up the phone and reach out to Lisa, she is the real-world equivalent of the “Dog Whisperer”

We contacted Lisa before we were due to collect our puppy ,and so glad we did ! Lisa gave us advice from day one and we now have the perfect puppy!
