We first met Nathan a year ago when we had 1:1 puppy training classes on Zoom due to the pandemic. This was so helpful, as Luna is our first dog and Nathan really knows his stuff. He is clearly very passionate about dogs, and Nathan went on to do some training walks with Luna to support us with her reactivity which was very beneficial. Nathan still walks Luna along with his colleague, Rachel. They are both very reliable, and treat Luna as their own. We have also recently attended some Hoopers classes which Luna loves and her humans also find it fun. I can highly recommend Nathan and his team. They are very accommodating, responsive when we need them and I want to say thank you for being there.

Rachel and Nathan both care so much for the dogs, and the way the dogs react towards them says it all. Nathan’s one on one training was brilliant - he helped me improve the older one’s behaviour and habits, and has given me a lot of help and advice with our younger and very reactive dachshund. I am looking forward to doing some of the scent classes with our older dog, who I know will love them. Nathan’s 6 week beginners training class was excellent. First class understanding of dog behaviour and how to achieve both basic and advanced behaviour. All done using positive reinforcement. I would recommend and will be attending other classes.

Been attending the new Hoopers class that Nathan is running. It's great fun & a fabulous way to connect with my dog. I've learnt some new training tips & my dog has had a sensory workout - moving safely around the space & obstacles, sniffing around, focusing on me & of course a few well earned treats along the way! Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for a bonding activity for you & your dog.

I met Nathan a few years ago and always knew we would get a dog when the time was right for our family. We now have a a 16 week old puppy who has done 4 out of 5 puppy sessions with Nathan. We had a pre arrival zoom with Nathan too. So far Nathan has been amazing, our puppy has been so receptive to all the training and picked things up really well. Nathan really cares about the dogs and their owners, that is clear to see and nothing is too much trouble for him; help is pretty much always on hand. I completed the Canine body language course with Nathan as part of the training I am doing with him to help my dog with her separation anxiety. I found the course very helpful for learning what signs to pick up on when observing my dog so I know when she is getting stressed. It was also interesting overall to look at the different types of dog behaviours and I feel I have more knowledge now when it comes to other dogs outside of the home and what signs to look for to keep my dog happy and safe. The course was relaxed and fun and Nathan made everyone feel very welcome. I am continuing to complete training for separation anxiety which is an on going training plan that I have no long started, however so far Nathan has been very helpful. He is very quick to respond and give feedback and I am finding the training very manageable to fit in with my lifestyle.

I first contacted Nathan to walk my beautiful pup when I went back to the office a few days a week, and more recently for some 1:1 training. To say Jake loves his walks is an understatement, and the training from Nathan has been amazing! Lead walking is much improved and Jakes behaviour inside is better too (I’ve got some great tools to stop him chasing the cat now!) Aside from that, I feel far more confident with my dog too, I’m sure sometimes Nathan thought he was training me, not my dog! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nathan to others, thank you ☺️

I contacted Nathan about our year old dog who we had home trained. He was generally well behaved and had some basics - sit, stay, come here etc. But he was very boisterous with other dogs, pulled on the lead and occasionally ran off in the park. Nathan went through options with me and, even though Nathan was open that these classes would go over things that our dog already knew, I decided to take his Beginnners 6 week class. It was very beneficial and by the end of the course he is noticeably calmer, more focused and responsive. This is probably because Nathan's positive approach to training is less stressful for our dog than some of the training techniques we were familiar with before. I have passed these techniques on to the rest of the family and we are all having a more enjoyable time with our dog as a result. Our dog also benefited from socialisation with the other dogs in the class.

Nathan has been doing 1:1 training walks with our Bernese for a few months now and has been brilliant with him and we’ve seen such a good improvement in focus and attention. Nathan really understood what we needed and wanted from the outset and Winston took to him immediately which is always a good sign! Nathan is always professional, always provided feedback and points from training walks (good and bad!) and we always knew Winston was in good hands when out on his walks. We’re really impressed with everything Nathan has been doing (we now use his general walking services too) and would recommend to anyone looking for a trainer who puts the dog’s needs first.

We had Nathan with the Kids Around Dogs session to help with our young children’s behaviour around our dogs. It was fantastic, he really engaged their attention (hard after a long day at school) and taught them what was ok to do with the dogs, where to stroke etc, do’s and don’ts. They especially like Shirley Bassett’s attendance! I also found it useful as I got tips on what to do and say when the children’s friends come to play and they are bit scared or unsure about the dogs. I would actually recommend that all children have this knowledge!

We chose Nathan’s Paw Trails after reading many positive reviews. After the initial contact and paperwork we met Teri who was going to be Percy’s walker. She met us on a couple of occasions where we went through our expectations and what Percy’s requirements were as a solo walker and his ‘ways’ whilst he was out and him not being particularly fond of ‘other off lead dogs’. Teri explained her knowledge and experience of managing more complex dogs which put our minds to rest somewhat. Whilst we were away we received constant updates and photos of Percy on his walks which we found very reassuring. Would definitely use again and would recommend this company to others.

I have recently been to Nathan's hoopers classes, they have been so much fun and really helped to build my dogs confidence. My dog is a nervous rescue however Nathan's classes are really fun and inclusive and you never feel judged, the focus is always on having fun with your dog!

Really enjoyed our puppy training with Nathan. My little lady was very distracted during the sessions, but as an owner, Nathan taught me how to work with her at home and she had picked up all the behaviours really quickly. I did not feel silly or bad about her not really picking things up in class directly, as Nathan doesn't put any pressure on you. She learnt to socialise well with the other dogs, despite them all being about 10 times her size! Well managed and fun.

My two boys Toby and Ollie are both walking and training clients with Nathan and his team. Both boys are lockdown dogs and therefore missed out on socialising at a crucial age. We have done the training sessions to cover things they would have picked up in puppy classes if they were open and Nathan has been nothing but great in helping them build their confidence and accommodate their needs. I joined Nathan's Workshop Canine Body Language, The workshop was educational, helpful, and very fun! Nathan took the time to explain if anyone wasn't sure about the subject, and he made everyone feel welcome. Highly recommended for all dog owners, no matter how experienced you are in "dog" Loved that the workshop was remote, online as it worked with my schedule and the group was a small group of ppl. Felt we all had Nathan's attention. He was very professional and funny, made sure we all had enough tea/coffee breaks. This course would help ANY Dogowner who would like to understand what their dogs are saying. I personally think this course should be mandatory for any dog walker business, no matter the size of the business.

Nathan has been helping us endlessly with our new puppy. We've booked his one to one puppy training course - which he has expertly delivered over Zoom - but the support and help he has given us goes much further than that as he is always available to answer questions and give advice over WhatsApp or email. The course itself is well-put-together, and broken down into simple to understand, and achievable steps. Nathan has checked in with us between lessons to offer support and find out how we've been getting on, and it has all really helped us with the training of our miniature schnauzer puppy. We would recommend Nathan's Paw Trails and Training to anyone considering using them.

Our collie Heidi has been with Nathan for a few weeks now and we are absolutely made up with Nathan Paw Trails. Not only is his service set up so professionally with a introduction and proper invoicing but Nathan also Taylor's his service to your dog for example matching your dog with their ideal dog best friend for group walks, having a WhatsApp group for you to communicate and also taking pictures of your dog whilst out on walks so you can see what a brilliant time they have had whilst your at work. Heidi comes he absolutely shattered and full of smiles and puts out minds at rest that she is in safe hands having the best time!

We have used Nathan to walk our dog Daisy all through Lockdown as we are keyworkers. Daisy loves Nathan and really enjoys her walks with him and the other dogs that he has chosen for her to walk with. Nathan is great and our dog Maggie is always so excited when he comes to pick her up for her walks. It's so nice to see how much she likes him and as we live not far from Nathan, we get to see how keen she is to see him and have fun with him whenever we walk past and she recognises his van! We also really appreciate the photos and videos Nathan sends us to show Maggie having fun with other dogs and, in these times, are glad to feel that the way Nathan does everything is completely covid-secure. Nathan has been coming to us since our puppy, Fozzie, was 12 weeks old. He first came for puppy check-ins while we were at work, then solo half an hour walks, and now solo training and small group hour long walks. His is always professional, and his care and attention for Fozzie is incredible. For every check-in/walk Nathan sends an update with photos and a summary of the walk, so even when we're at work we feel completely confident that Fozzie well and in safe hands. Nathan’s been a great help with Branston who came to me as an anxious 11 year old dog who had never been off lead in his life. Recall was so important to me as I knew it would drastically alter Branston’s quality of life and Nathan was able to give us a number of tools and techniques to nail it!
