We have just "graduated" from our first puppy class.The 5 week class run by Brian was excellent, gave us real insight into our puppy's behaviour and taught us what we needed to have a well behaved dog. We would highly recommend this class for anyone who has a new puppy, the classes are well structured and friendly, covering all the basic commands needed. We really enjoyed the classes and are planning to enrol in the next class. Thank you Brian and your team.

Huge thanks to Brian for his patience and kindness. Attended the Intermediate and Advanced classes with my Tibetan Terrier Tico who has rather a "stubborn streak"...! Brian never made us feel as though we were not keeping up, or holding up the others (which we often were 😀). Really felt we progressed, met lots of other lovely dogs and of course, their owners, and managed to learn and practice lots of useful skills. Amazing 🤩 I got my first puppy and wanted some guidance with training. Love K9 was recommended to me and I’m so glad I booked the puppy training with them. Brian is a great trainer, every thing he does and says works! He’s very knowledgeable and has a calming presence which is great as I’m a really anxious person!! I was nervous about going but he’s a lovely person who makes you feel so welcome and relaxed and has made me feel more confident with training Max. Worth every penny! Brian is most incredible dog trainer. His classes were an absolute joy to attend, with some fantastic tips and advice on how to help your dog become valued member of your family pack. We were recently in a situation where we needed help with our now adult dog who had picked up some negative habits. A brief 5 minute conversation with Brian, gave us the confidence and the know-how to help us correct the situation. I cannot recommend Love K9 enough.

We have used Brian twice for our own dogs and now once for one of our dog walking clients. He helped us with some lead work for our female dog and a complex toilet training issue for our male. Brian was so in-tune with the dogs and us and knew within minutes what the issue was and gave us some great tips and actions to follow which worked within weeks. He pointed out exactly where we had gone wrong (in the nicest possible way) and made everything easy to understand and easy to follow. He quite literally changed our lives and we will be forever grateful as at the time, it felt pretty hopeless. Following these sessions, we contacted Brian for advice on a clients dog and he was very kind to give us some great steps to follow which has put everything into perspective and made it all feel achievable. We live over 5 hours away and so only get to see Brian when on holiday but if we lived closer, we would have loved to do more sessions or group work with our dogs. A massive thank you Brian, you have really saved the day and we cant recommend you or your team more highly.

I cannot recommend LoveK9 enough. Brian and the team are extremely knowledgable, friendly and always helpful and understanding with any issues. We did our puppy training with our Labrador (Doug) three years ago and it was a godsend. The skills we learnt meant we could enjoy having a puppy around the house. If we ever have any issues Brian has always taken the time to help us understand the root cause and given us the knowledge and skills to fix them.(lead pulling, night time growling etc). would highly recommend to any dog owner whether puppy or not!

Brian and his team are fantastic. Dexter and I really enjoyed our group training sessions, you learn such a lot which supports your bond with your dog and it's great fun too. Brian gives you lots of encouragement which is so helpful and if you have any queries or questions relating to your canine Brian is always happy to give you strategies to help and support you! I would only use LoveK9 for training requirements and would thoroughly recommend 💯 whoop whoop.

Brian is a kind, funny and professional dog trainer! I have an anxious and stubborn dog, and I was also anxious. During the sessions, we learned useful trainings. As well as that, we got a lot of advice from Brian, Jean, and Vicky about our behabiour, and I saw an instant improvement in my dog! My dog is now rather independent  He also made time for socialisation, which was really helpful as we saw how my dog acts to many different kinds of dogs. He also gave up a special recipe which my dog loves My dog behaves so much better than before…. So highly recommend!

Cannot recommend Brian highly enough. We went to beginners and intermediate classes with our staffie Frankie . We all learnt such a lot. The classes train humans just as much if not more than the dogs , very informative and great fun too ! Also had a 121 session whist waiting for classes and this was invaluable throughout early puppy stage 🙂

Started puppy training with Ivy with trainers Brian and Helen. Really enjoyable class which Brian made fun. He was very professional and found his class good value. Small classes with a variety of puppies and you could definitely see the improvements with all the dogs as the weeks went by. Will miss this class now it’s finished but have gone away with lots of tips to continue to help Ivy to be a socially and well behaved dog. Thank you 🙏

I rehomed a small cocker spaniel called Pixie when she was 4. She didn’t like being on a collar or lead, having been used to running free whilst living in the countryside. She commenced training with Brian at Love K9 and loved the classes, doing very well, and having lots of confidence. I have since recommended Brian to many friends who are delighted with their pets progress. Excellent training, compassionate trainer who really does know everything there is to know about dogs.

I called Brian today as I am having trouble with my large rescue Staffie X, Parker. Brian explained that due to latest Covid lockdown rules, he was unable to do a 1-2-1 with me but asked me what problems I was encountering and said he would be happy to give me guidance where he could. My 3 main areas of concern are crate training, separation anxiety and being far too excitable and domineering when greeting other dogs on walks. Brian gave me so much good advice and tips, explained do’s and dont’s, and generally made me feel that everything is doable with time and patience, and the correct methods of course. I now feel much less despairing of ever enjoying walks with Parker, and also hopeful that I will be able to leave the house sometime in the future without fear of the neighbours running me out of town, down to Parker’s furiously barking. I will definitely be contacting Brian after lockdown, with a view to doing some training with him in person.

Both of my large breed dogs (Rhodesian Ridgebacks) have attended classes at LoveK9, at Puppy, Intermediate and Advanced Levels, plus re-enforcement lessons. Training is done in a kind but firm manner, with first class, Knowledgeable instructor and assistants who are happy to give extra guidance and support. All done in a clean and safe environment. But most of all it’s fun for owners and dogs.
