Excellent puppy training courses delivered by Ian and his team at Dogs Be Dogs. We really enjoyed the gradual but thorough training steps which allowed us to continue training at home. Ian gave us the confidence and techniques to be able to really enjoy having a dog.
Highly recommended. Classes take place outside in a secure area. All the puupies have a chance to socialise in a controlled and safe way.
We completed levels one & two and really enjoyed it.

Tash is absolutely amazing. We have been lucky to work with her since our Ted was 10 weeks old. We started with the puppy classes, then adolescent classes, 121 consultations and soon starting gun dog training! Teddy has anxiety and overarousal and Tash knows so much about dogs. Such simple, easy steps to follow that make a huge difference. He's now 16 months old, and while he isn't perfect (who is?!) he has improved 1000%. Everyone who knows Ted comments on it and it brings me such joy. I would not hesitate in recommending Dogs be dogs to anyone, as I'm sure my fellow dog owners will tell you!

We took our black labrador puppy on the Level 1 course and will definitely be back for the Level 2 course. Kelly, Ian and Tash are so friendly and patient. It’s clear they think carefully about how to continually improve and adapt the classes, as well as being mindful of the warm summer conditions, as you’d expect. Each week’s theme and learning objectives are clearly laid out at the start of each class, and the pace is nicely managed. Their approach is not dogmatic (no pun intended) and is based on having lots of strategies, without being confusing. Having their expertise on hand when the dogs socialise at break time is invaluable, as they can quickly help owners identify body language and appropriate reactions from the humans. Much better than just having a free for all. Thanks to Dogs Be Dogs, we now feel much more confident about our puppy’s training, and our own training as humans!

We've been doing puppy classes with Dogs be Dogs and since lockdown they have been doing online distance training classes - just had a 1-2-1 training session on line using Zoom and it was great. Tash is also releasing online training videos on Facebook. Highly recommend both their training methods and the commitment to training during these difficult times.

Tash & Ian have been absolute game changers with our puppy Henry and his training programme. They make training manageable, easy to understand and impactful. The difference in our puppy's behaviour is noticeable after a short session with Dogs Be Dogs and they have given great advice on all sorts of puppy issues [including biting] that has changed the challenging behaviour straight away. I cannot recommend this business enough!

Tash has been the most amazing resource for working with our complex and very reactive dog. We've gone from having to consider having him put down, to having walks and a home life that is a delight for everyone. I honestly can't recommend Tash enough!! Thank you so so so much!

Myself and my cavapoochon Winnie attended recall classes with Tash recently and it was great. We learnt so many tips on how to recall Winnie from distractions and it’s really built my confidence in walking with her off the lead. Would definitely recommend the dog be dogs training classes for anybody wanting to learn new skills. I will definitely be booking another course soon. Thankyou!

Over the 6 week puppy training course with Dogs Be Dogs we had the pleasure of joining sessions in two different locations and then finishing with 2 online lessons. They had to deal with all the challenges of coronavirus but still managed to deliver a really insightful and enjoyable training course. Their focus on a different topic every week along with specific homework made it easy to understand the topic and help our puppy learn the right behaviour. The online sessions were especially useful considering I had my doubts about it working so well. I would definitely recommend Dogs Be Dogs to anyone looking for puppy training.

Dogs Be Dogs and Tash have been excellent for us and our puppy. We have hand a handful of classes before and during lockdown (over Zoom) and every time we've come away better informed and more confident. Tash is clearly very knowledgeable and has spent hours on Zoom talking through all the topics we needed to be covered with a new puppy! Highly recommended, we're starting level 2 in a few weeks.

We took our Cocker Spaniel puppy Rosie along to Dogs Be Dogs and we learnt so much. Tash's teams knowledge was excellent and as she runs small, intimate classes we were given plenty of one on one care to help us with any questions we had regarding our puppy. The hour every week flew by, with really interesting relevant topics (beyond your traditional puppy class remit). We covered scenarios including (but not limited to): how to make your puppy settle in a pub/restaurant environment, how to make your puppy happy to be handled by people including vets, sniffer training and name recall. The positive treat based learning was a breath of fresh air, and Rosie obviously loved it. The whole team were friendly and approachable and supported the needs of each owner differently. We also loved getting to know the other puppies and owners. You will not regret taking your puppy along to Tash's class.

After a long and difficult journey with my highly anxious dog, finding Tash was a breath of fresh air. From our first meeting she demonstrated her patience, knowledge and understanding of both dogs and owners! The training sessions have been worth their weight in gold and have really genuinely transformed my outings with my dog and my dogs well being. I also feel equipped to carry on the training and continue to see the benefits. I would't hesitate to recommend Tash as a trainer.

Dogs Be Dogs has been offering highly informative puppy training sessions via zoom. Ok - so home schooling a puppy is new to me, but to be honest, a puppy training class is really about training the owner anyway! Highly recommend Tash at Dogs Be Dogs for any dog owners.

We are so delighted to have found Tash! She has helped us in all aspects of puppy/owner training and introduced us to the idea of enrichment which has worked so brilliantly for our dog. Very approachable and clearly passionate about what she does, Tash gives us sound and practical advice when needed. She is a trusted, reliable guardian of our puppy on their daily adventures together!

Highly recommend Tash. We have used her for improver dog training classes and for one-to-one behaviour sessions.
She is enthusiastic, personable, and insightful. We have started to see positive changes in our puppy's behaviour since following her guidance.

Tash's passion for dogs runs through every pore, and she has channelled that passion into her work. If it wasn't for Tash, our Black Lab and Irish Terrier would probably be tearing the house apart and running riot when out in public! Tash understands what your dog needs, and how to help you provide the right stimulation and training to make sure you and your dog have the best relationship possible. She cares deeply about ensuring that every dog is a happy dog, getting the best out of life and enjoying every day.

Tash is a brilliant dependable dog walker and trainer. She takes our Jack Russell on engaging enrichment led group walks at some great locations in the Berkshire area. Tash has also given us some great training tips to keep our dog happy and stimulated.

Tash has helped us with training in a variety of areas, from lead walking and recall, to resource guarding (to name just a few). Tash has also introduced us to the world of canine enrichment, which provides us with a whole new way to engage with (and tire out) our 9 month old Golden Retriever. I cannot recommend Dogs Be Dogs enough, someone with a true passion for what she does, which truly shines through. 5 stars!

We cannot recommend Tash highly enough. She oozes passion and enthusiasm for supporting and helping dog owners get the best from their dogs in a positive manner. The dogs clearly love her too! We have taken part in the recall workshop, improver classes and had 1:1 support and have learnt many new techniques and skills to use with our very excitable labrador Bentley. The classes have been friendly, interactive and fun with demonstrations, as well as personal guidance to individually support you and your dog. We have thoroughly loved taking part in the classes and look forward to completing a scent workshop in the near future.

We've been working with Tash closely since April to help our 18 month old whippet/greyhound Olly with his separation anxiety. We've had problems with leaving Olly since we rehomed him a year ago. He used to howl, cry and bark when we tried to leave him which meant we were never able to leave him home alone.
Tash has been amazing with him, helping us gradually work with Olly to build his confidence with being left. We've just got to the hour and a half mark with him which six months ago we never thought was possible and can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.
We would definitely recommend Tash to anyone struggling with separation anxiety too.

I never thought Dog training delivered via Zoom and Whatsapp could be this effective!
Having had a free "socialisation during lockdown" taster class, I immediately booked Tash for a private to address our pup eating stones, as well as other more standard issues like teething. Her insight, expertise and ability to concisely deliver this information over the course of an hour has GREATLY reduced my stress and worry at the care of my German Shep pup.
The recommendations have allowed me to immediately address nearly all of my problems (in as much as mitigation, obviously fixing them will take a long time) as well as giving me insights into errors I was making despite best intentions. One thing I really appreciate vs other resources (like the German Shep Puppy Day by Day book, or Zak George on youtube both of which I find helpful) is that when there is contradictory advice, she either clarifies it, or highlights which behaviour is most important - I don't as the layman have to make the judgement call.
From just the taster, our pup was far better behaved and calmer, due to understanding the importance of sniffing. She also gave us resources to get more balanced vet advice, which has resulted in a more well socialised dog and a sensible approach to risk.
We've got puppy classes on Friday and I can't wait, I know our boy is getting the best care that we can give him.
(I tried to post this with my work account, but it got lost somewhere in google, so am reposting. Since then, we've had three or four of the puppy classes and they are as expected, also fantastic - learning loads and also takes the stuff we're doing well and tweaks it to be better. Our boy is 16 weeks now and he's we're getting him to be a super happy confident boy, and working on more advanced things like cue transference etc. The first time you say down with no hand gesture and the boy glues himself to the floor is a magical feeling!)

I contacted Tash after our rescue dog, Delphi, started showing aggression to people passing by when she was on the lead. Tash helped me to understand Delphi's body language and provided me with a training plan that was clear, easy to follow and didn't put Delphi (or myself!) under any pressure. I have understood that learning works when dog and owner are relaxed and i now feel much more confident taking Delphi out.

Tash and Ian are incredibly knowledgable. I was so impressed with the support, advice and many things I was taught that I didn’t consider before training on my own. My puppies recall is all due to the excellent classes & being available online has been much more manageable.

Tash walks my dog, Buddy, almost every day. She takes him and the other dogs to different locations to keep it exciting for them and always posts pictures and videos of all his fun antics which we enjoy watching in the evening! She also practices her dog training on Buddy, which helps Tash further develop as a dog trainer, and Buddy loves it too!!
He always comes back exhausted; a tired dog is a happy dog! 🐶

Tash did amazing one to one sessions with our rescue dog, Rambo, who was having a lot of trouble when going out for walks with aggression towards other dogs. Tash had so many useful insights and I had no idea of all the behaviors of dogs and what it means. She has transformed Rambo's life and he is now the happiest boy ever and is enjoying his walks out again, thank you Tash!

Chester absolutely loved it

Just brilliant, Tash takes the time to learn about the dog she is training and it really shows. Can't wait to keep practicing all we have learnt so far!

I would highly recommend Tash. Her approach has quite simply given me the tools and confidence I needed. Thank you thank you thank you.
