I would very much recommend Sophie from Fieldlines Dog Training. We have a 5 month old puppy who is reactive to other dogs, due to her anxiety. We have had an hour and a half lesson with Sophie and have learnt so much, due to her clear explanations and practical teaching style. She is clearly a dog whisperer! Both my daughter and I couldn’t believe the difference in our puppies behaviour during the lesson. Sophie is very patient and understanding and very willing to answer all your questions.I would recommend Sophie to anyone who needs help with training and behaviour problems .

I am really happy with Sophie’s training methods, she is very inventive and patient and adapts her ideas to suit your individual needs for each session. I contacted Sophie after receiving a recommendation from the breeder to book in lessons for our Golden Retriever puppy. We have had 2 Zoom lessons so far for training within the home. Following Sophie's guidelines and training tips we are making great progress. I have 1 more home training session and will be booking further sessions outside to continue training. I would recommend Sophie to anyone to help them with their dog.

I contacted Sophie as our puppy was too old to attend most puppy classes and I saw Sophie was doing 1:1. We booked in our 3 sessions and worked on the areas we wanted to, one of which was Heel (to enable loose lead walking). This has drastically improved for us, although there is a little way to go to ensure she doesn’t pull on a slip lead. We covered retrieving and recall as well and as our puppy will eventually become a working dog we done the start of gun dog training. Sophie was very patient with Willow, and she has a way about her where she makes the training seem easy and not a chore. In our last session we asked for some advice on her sleeping as Willow had decided she would wake around 5 times a night just to say hello! We tried the different pieces of advice given and over the course of 2 weeks her sleeping has improved. She is now waking no more than once a night. We are so grateful for the advice as well as the start on training that we are improving on for our pup! I highly recommend Sophie for puppy training

Sophie is an amazing dog trainer and I can’t recommend her enough! She’s extremely knowledgeable and leaves us feeling super confident to go away and train our Labrador puppy the best way from the start. We’re really happy that Sophie was recommended to us whilst our puppy was so young (14 weeks), she’s learning so quickly and loves the sessions and Sophie too. Really looking forward to continuing our training and learning new tricks and training methods to make our lab the best little companion.

Sophie is a fantastic trainer. I've done group classes with her and my puppy with other dogs, and today did a 1:1 lesson. The classes are delivered in a fun, informative way, and Sophie encourages you to ask questions, and personalises the training to you and your dog. Would highly recommend. We’ve had one session with Sophie so far with our 10 week old pup and it was brilliant! We were struggling with getting our puppy to settle in the evenings, but we stuck to what Sophie said and have since had the two best nights since we got her!! She’s settling herself in her crate now and we’re only up once in the night! Really looking forward to the next sessions and feel so lucky to have someone so close by that is so brilliant with our four legged friends!

Sophie was an amazing dog trainer for our Lab puppy, she is knowledgeable and passionate about creating well rounded dogs that are a pleasure to be with. She has small indoor and outdoor classes with lots of general obedience, lead/off-lead, recall and commands. She is happy to cover anything you may have issues with. I found her very patient for a novice dog owner like me. Thank you Sophie.

We had three 1:1 sessions with Sophie to help train our 4 month old working cocker spaniel. We had already done a lot of training ourselves but there were a few behaviours that we wanted to improve, and Sophie was a huge help as she knows a lot about gundogs and has a working cocker spaniel herself. Her training methods are very relaxed and easy to implement, and we liked that the focus was on creating a strong bond with your puppy through positive reinforcement. We will definitely sign up for further classes in the future.

Sophie came to our house for a 1:1 session today to give advice with a new puppy (socially distanced of course). I am very grateful for her time, expertise and experience. I first attended Sophie’s training groups when I took over my parents 8 month old collie cross Alf. He was a completed nightmare to walk, pursuing everything that moved with pretty much no recall. With Sophie’s patient help and encouragement he was transformed becoming the best walking companion a girl could have. The gundog and natural instinct classes were his absolute favourites and were the making of him. Sadly we lost him to cancer aged just 5 last year. We couldn’t be without a dog so another Collie cross puppy, Riley, has joined our family. We signed up with Sophie straight away, have completed our puppy course and are starting on the foundation course next week. Sophie is the best...I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Would 100% recommend. My puppy is just about to turn a year old. He has always been very nervous and easily spooked. Sophie has been helping me build his confidence with his re call and around other dogs. Even after the first session wirh Sophie I noticed a massive improvement. She has also helped me. Even though my puppy Reggie struggles with his confidence I lacked confidence myself to deal with the situations when he is nervous. Sophie spoke me through everything wirh me. I can’t thank Sophie enough for helping me and Reggie !

I have attended classes with Sophie since our Sprocker spaniel was a puppy with great success. We then progressed to outdoor Gundog Training classes which has now enabled me to take Bramble on a local shoot enjoying a pleasurable day out.
