C.Our Labrador puppy Copper had lead biting/excitement issues on walks - we had tried everything and walks were very stressful, but after just 2 sessions with Melissa over zoom, Copper hasn't reacted in that way since! She is so much calmer and more responsive. Zoom worked better for us than training in person as the trainer could see exactly how Copper was with us in every day life. Definitely would recommend Melissa!

M. T.I have just completed the 6 week online puppy school course. Being a first time dog owning family we needed all the help we could get and Melissa was there to answer all our questions. The course covered was easy to follow with detailed video tutorials. With help from Melissa Sizzles has settled in well and is now no longer nipping the kids by following the advice given. The course has all the need to know stuff for a new puppy. Way beyond just the basic sit, down and come. All our questions answered quickly and effectively.

B. T.Melissa is amazing! We couldn't take our 2 Jack Russell crosses on a walk without them barking like mad at other dogs when on their lead and it was making life hell. Now, using the techniques Melissa taught us, they don't make a sound! Melissa is extremely knowledgeable and completely non-judgemental. She gave us lots of different training options and let us choose the ones that we felt comfortable with. She also helped us with toilet training and barking in the garden.
A. F.I contacted Mel because my dog Vincent had a traumatic experience and he started to develop some weird excitement to go outside, meet other dogs and other people. Mel just did not only fix Vincent helping him to over come the hard situation and be able to have a very nice play with other dogs. She also boost my confidents as a dog owner and helped me to trust Vincent again. Currently, Vincent is perfectly fine going off-leash in places with more people and dogs, recalling excellently however the things I appreciate the most about Mel is that she cares about us and she help to build a nice and strong bonding between Vincent and me. Peggy has improved so much, and anytime we needed an extra boost for her training, Melissa has been there. G. H.We attended a 4 week training course for our unruly teenager and noticed a difference after just 2 weeks. In class we were taught how to maintain our dogs attention and this has really helped us to keep him focused long enough to learn new things such as loose lead walking, when to stop and when to go. He is so much better on the lead. Mel is very patient and knowledgable - everything she says works! Even with our reluctant pooch! We are now looking forward to stress-free Sunday afternoon walks. J. H.I signed up to the pre-puppy package for my new Cockerpoo puppy Alfie and it was the best thing I could of done! Melissa put us at ease on our first pre puppy consultation letting us know what to buy for Alfie, how to survive the first 7 nights, diet advice, tips on toilet training and so much more. On our other three hands on training sessions with Alfie and Melissa we worked on so many important life skills from how to stop nipping and biting to teaching Alfie to come back when called. She “held our hand” through the whole first month of having Alfie home and I honestly don’t know how we could of managed without her!! Having a puppy is such hard work! Couldn’t recommend Cambridge Dog Services highly enough.
