We used Dixans for the first time in July 2022. It was the first time we had ever left our mini dachshund while we went on holiday and understandably I was really anxious. Right from the moment we turned up we were made to feel welcome, the owners really knew their stuff, they were so laid back and really made us feel at ease. We recieved a video while we were away that put my mind at rest. The owners work so hard to look after the dogs and the they live on site so the dogs are never alone. My dog came back exhausted after having a lovely week away and I could tell she had been loved and looked after. They are really nice people and I'd definitely recommend them to friends, and we will most definitely be using them again!

So I ended up in a&e and these guys where amazing, they was worried they hadn't heard from me so they called my partner and organised to pick the pups up from my home. The pups always come home happy, well fed and exercised, they take time to get to know your pets I wouldn't let anyone else look after them

We've been coming to Dixans Boarding for seven years now and I know my cat Muggle is in safe hands! I can't recommend their service enough and I always enjoy a chat with Debbie and Tony when I do drop off or pick up! On one occasion, we were stranded in their drive-way and they couldn't have been more kind and helpful to my family, for which I'll always be grateful.

Quality service and quality care, what more could our puppy Beau want? We have no hesitation in recommending this business to everyone. The owners clearly have a huge passion for the wellbeing of their furry guests. Will absolutely be returning here everytime Beau wants some pampering!!!!! Thank you for your lovely service.

Merlin our 10 month collie has just had the time of his life with Debbie and Tony. We can't thank them enough. We were very nervous about leaving him with anyone for the first time. He has had a complete blast, is very happy and tired as he had lots of time playing. Debbie sent a video of him having fun which settled us and let us relax and enjoy our time away. Have booked him in for more stays.

I have been taking my dog to Dixans for over 5 years now and can't say a bad word about the place. My dog is always excited to visit especially to see Debbie. I have peace of mind and can relax knowing my dog is well cared for. Every time i have arrived to drop off or pick up my dog i have been warmly greeted by either Tony or Debbie who always ask how I'm doing and are just generally lovely people. Any advice i have needed about my dog they have taken the time to help me even in their own time when the kennels are closed. Can't recommend them enough. They run this place all on their own, no staff which i think says a lot. :-) Stacey

Debbie and Tony are excellent; our dog is always excited to see them and I know they always look forward to seeing him. Excellent kennels, wouldn’t send our spaniels anywhere else. Debbie and Tony are absolutely fantastic with them, I’m sure they treat every pet as their own. After dropping the one off at one of his stays (before getting the second pup) I was so anxious about leaving him I even got a txt when in Florida to put my mind at rest that our boy was ok. On return he was clean , blankets and toys washed and very happy. He has been groomed by Debbie today and what an excellent job she has done, we are over the moon. Never have any worries about leaving your beloved pets with them, I’m sure you will never find another second home like this one. Thank you so much Debbie and Tony

We cannot think of a better place for our dog, Tank to stay in. It's like his second home! It's so reassuring to see Tank so excited when he gets there and Debbie and Tony welcome him with open arms. Tank has been coming to DIxans for many years now, including for his 2 to 3 pampers (haircut) every year and we would never consider going anywhere else. Thank you Debbie and Tony😁

I’ve been using Dixans for doggy day care for 5 years and my dog loves it, so much so that he pulls ahead of me to get in every morning, Tony and Debbie have always taken great care of him and have been great help and support when he has been ill. He also gets groomed there and we’re very pleased with how he is done. Highly recommended

Put our collie in while we moved and considering that it was the first time in kennels he loved it. He was at ease as soon as he arrived and went off to his temp home wagging his tail with delight. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and cater to almost any need. Rex had a blast we couldn't give a better recommendation. Thank you. 5*

I have been taking my dogs to Debbie and Tony for nearly 25 years, and if I could give them 10 stars I would. It goes without saying that the doggy accommodation, bedding, excercise and food provided is top notch: the secret ingredient however that stands them head and shoulders above the rest is is the truly loving care they give each and every animal. Our current dog had major surgery recently, and Debbie and Tony went out of their way to ensure he was totally pampered and looked after even more than usual when he next stayed with them : gentle exercise, taking care of his medication, extra bedding, they even whizzed him to the vets when they were a bit concerned as a cautionary measure. Debbie also does an amazing doggy bath and papmper, we always come home to a lovely fluffy, happy doggy. Best of the best.

Daisy had never stayed in kennels, at the age of 13 she had her first stay at Dixans, am so glad they were recommended to me, Debbie and Tony are excellent. At 16 Daisy is a real pensioner now, deaf and more or less blind but she is quite happy to stay and I know she is well looked after. Thank you.

Having just picked up my dog from a stay at Dixan's I am an in no doubt that this is the best kennels around. My dog can be quite nervous around new people but Debbie knew all the right things to do, in the end he was more than happy staying with her. When I collected him he was clean and happy, having obvious had fun.

Always take my dog here when going away like that they let the dogs out in the evening and then give them a bedtime biscuit! Also have my dog, a cockerpoo, groomed here. Debbie does a fantastic job.
