My precious wee boy Tam has been going to Amy’s for almost 2 months, as first he was nervous leaving me , but Amy has calmed him down and he now loves going to see Amy and his doggy friends. Amy is flexible and reliable. Would highly recommend for peace of mind that your treasured dog is being well looked after.

Amy has looked after our little Cooper, whenever we have needed, since he was a puppy. He’s nearly 9 years old now! She looks after him so well, just like he was one of her own dogs. Although he is a bit nervous when I drop him off, I know that he’s soon calm and relaxed. Amy is really good at giving us updates and photos, if he is with her for longer periods of time. We would highly recommend Amy and Happy Hounds to anyone 🐶

From my initial enquiry with Amy she has given an amazing service. Amy first met Miley before started up walking and I instantly felt that she had a warm and caring manner towards animals and that it wasn’t just about the business. I especially like that Amy doesn’t just do paddock walks and that Miley has a wide range of walks to go on. Can’t recommend Amy at Happy Hounds & Friends enough. I know Miley is in good hands 😊

Amy looked after our dog Stanley almost 10 years ago for several years. She now looks after our dog Hugo whenever we go on trips and can’t take him along with us. Amy is professional and asks lots of questions about your dog and arranges a pre-meet before she will care for your dog. I think this is very good, so she can get to know the dog before caring for them. Hugo is always excited to go to Amy’s house even if it has been a few months before visits. We get regular messages, photos and even videos whilst Hugo is there. He has a home from home where he is allowed on the sofas etc like in his own home and treated like part of the family. We never hesitate to book Hugo in to stay at Happy Hounds. He always returns to us happy and well looked after. Thank you Amy. Hugo is looking forward to his next stays soon!

My dog, Lady started going to daycare with Amy recently and she has settled in so quickly. The minute she gets out the car, she leads me straight to Amy’s house and doesn’t look back! She loves every minute of it and she comes home happy and tired. Amy is really flexible which is so helpful as my work shifts can change at short notice. I have a lead reactive dog who, after a behaviouralist advice, was being walked using a counter conditioning approach. Unfortunately, I had an injury and couldn't walk for some time. Amy was able to do sessions 1:1 with my dog as she understood her needs, and had the skills and calm nature to carry on what I was doing. My dog loves to see Amy, she is so happy when she sees her coming to the door! I can definitely recommend her as she has the knowledge, skills, experience and a calm approach which is great for nervous dogs like mine.

Happy Hounds & Friends came highly recommended to me by my sister. Our Standard Schnauzer, Albert had his first 5 night sleep over in June 21 and we were so pleased he’s staying again this weekend for 3 nights! The communication was smooth, and we received lots of “pupdates” which was really comforting. Amy was fantastic and professional, and Albert seemed very happy and relaxed when we got back home. We have been sending Buddy to Happy Hounds after being recommended by a friend for over 18 months now. Amy has always been so accommodating, helping us out when we have needed it and more importantly keeping our little furry one happy and looked after. Buddy will sit at Amy's door, tail wagging, as he is so excited to go there for the day and he leaps into the car so willingly when he's told he's going to Amy's. Amy is fabulous- can’t recommend enough! She’s accommodating to my job and is super flexible. Not only does she walk and offer daycare for my dog, she keeps him overnight from time to time and treats him as her own and welcomes him into her home. I actually learnt about Happy Hounds during a walk in a local park from a lady who recommended Amy and Happy Hounds to us and our dog Miley has been a regular there ever since - and she loves it! Amy is fantastic, reliable and very accommodating. She regularly sends updates, pictures and videos of what Miley's up to during the day and it's a home from home for Miley for when we go away. Lovely family run business, very professional and great value for money. A home to home service nothing too much trouble and you always have happy fur babies. HAPPY HOUNDS AND FRIENDS, I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND, OUR BUDDY CAN BE NERVOUS AT TIMES BUT HE WAS 100% HAPPY TO GO WITH AMY, AND WHEN WE PICKED HIM UP HE WAS NOT IN A RUSH TO LEAVE, AND FOR BUDDY THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES.
