We booked Daisy in as she has stayed before on a number of occasions and loves it! Paul and the team looked after Daisy like their own dog and made sure she was checked over by a vet when she had an issue during her stay. We would recommend Cow Hill hands down for their care and attention - Daisy didn’t want to come home and was letting herself back into the kennel when we went to collect her, if that’s not a testimony on its own then I don’t know what is!! :)

First time I have ever my dogs in kennels and I couldn't have picked a better one. I was immediately put at ease when dropping mine and my sisters dogs off. It was made very clear they were happy for me to check in by phone whenever I wanted (i only did once, the next day to be sure). They were happy and relaxed when I arrived to pick them both up. Thank you for taking great care of them.

Our dogs' first visit after our usual kennels are no longer in operation, so we were a little nervous. No need to be. The dogs were absolutely fine after a 2 week stay. They had been totally relaxed...I was taken in to see them "chilling" in their kennel when we arrived to pick them up. Friendly and professional staff put us at ease. Thanks 😊

Our Mini Dachshund Otis suffers from separation anxiety and home boarding just didn’t work for him as he can be anxious around other dogs too. We were worried about putting him in kennels but he settled in here so quickly and easily, thanks to Paul and all the incredible staff. They spent a lot of time getting to know Otis and really care for him like their own dog. They are so knowledgeable about dogs and Otis has actually become a much more confident dog after three stays here which is brilliant to see! It’s such a relief to be able to leave Otis now without worrying as we know he will be in the best care at Cow Hill with the most amazing caring team , thanks so much !

The team here is absolutely amazing and have taken excellent care of my very anxious dog during both her stays. They are so knowledgeable about dogs that I am comfortable leaving her in their hands and they have even given me fantastic tips on ways to reduce Penny's anxiety (which are slowly but surely making a difference). They really do recognise every dog as an individual with unique needs and I would highly recommend Cow Hill Kennels to anyone who needs somewhere for their dog to be boarded temporarily! Penny has stayed with them twice and will definitely be going back again - fair prices, knowledgeable and kind staff and a beautiful quiet location :)

Collected Kaspar today, he looked fantastic, the staff clearly had got to know him well in the 10 days he was there! He looked well, he made a beeline for the kitchen before us, so he certainly knew where the food was! I would recommend them as the service they provide is excellent, very friendly and extremely clean! 5 STAR!!

I moved to longridge last year (2021) and I was hesitant about finding a new kennels for my 2 lrg German shepherd x dogs (they can be picky and are quite a handful). That was until I found cow hill kennels. The staff and owners are lovely. My dogs know as soon as I make that turning onto cow hill lane, they get so excited, they drag me to the door. I recently had an emergency and called them up late and they were so accommodating and really helped me out even though I completely inconvenienced them. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else and As long as I live in the area cow hill kennels will be my doggies 2nd home. It’s nice to leave them with 100% confidence knowing they are in safe hands. Booked my 2 furbabys in at short notice as I was late at booking at regular kennels ! Whilst I am not disputing they were looked after ! Please tell me where does anyone pay £79 for 2 nights for 2 dogs !!! I was quoted £53 ! Which was above wat I normally pay ! Will be more organised in the future and they will NOT be staying there again Canni afford it in this day and age 😳😳

Been here previously years ago and had no complaints, however this time i am not happy. My dog needs medication and i sent 7 tablets for the week which stop my dog from itching and biting herself as she has an allergy. 2 tablets where given back, ( not sure why) my dog was distressed during the night we picked her up as her meds were obviously not given as instructed. Very Dissatisfied

No where else in Preston I would trust with my dog, as soon as you arrive you can tell that everyone who works there is a dog person. They take into account your dogs specific needs and do everything they can to make their stay enjoyable. 100% reccomend

Our dog Charlie has been attending Cow Hill doggy day care for the last three years. We are completely satisfied that he is being well taken care of when we are at work. He always comes home happy and tired and when we arrive the next day, he can't wait to jump out of the car. The kennel is very clean and is run in an efficient manner. We highly recommend Cow Hill Kennels, our experience has been fantastic.

They always take great of our little dog. We were referred to the Kennels by a friend and have been delighted with how they have treated him each time he’s been. He has been going from being a young puppy and he’s always come back happy and healthy, having played with his doggie friends.

We drop of our dogs every wednesday to make use of Cow Hill Kennels 'Doggy Daycare'. The dogs absolutely love it and are always extremely excited to see the owners and staff. The staff are all very friendly and it feels like they really care for the animals they take into their charge. I would recomend this Kennels and Daycare to anyone!

Dear Sir we are dissapointed to read your review on our website and are concerned that your experience with us was not a positive one. We have investigated the event and in reply we would like to highlight the following: We always padlock our gates out of hours for the security of our dogs. There is a doorbell & CCTV at the gate to alert us of your presence. We never say to anybody that they can pick up or drop off their dogs at anytime without prior arrangement. Your dogs were booked for 4 to 5pm collection on the day in question you changed your booking to 9 to10am collection when you arrived with your dogs, We were not charging you for your change in times even though we would be unable to re rent out the kennels at such short notice, however when you did not arrive or contact us by 10am we continued to care for your dogs fed them and took them for a walk. You then arrived as you said an hour and three quarters late to pick up your dogs and you are now obviously unhappy that you paid for the additional time and care for your dogs. We endevour to be as accomodating and fair to all our customers, should they need to pick up their animals out of normal hours. We feel the comments in your review does not portray the whole facts, also the comment regarding myself in no way reflects the effort I put into the care of your pet or my attitude to my customers. Should any problems ever arise we would welcome the chance to rectify any missunderstanding immediately this would ensure all our customers and animals are completely satisfied after a visits to our kennels. Eric (labrador) loves to come for his holiday. He turned up this year wearing a cone to stop him scratching a face wound and Jen and the team altered it all so he could get in and out of the kennel with ease. They get walked every day and they get 'play time' too.
