Meg, our border collie has been to Paws n Claws a number of times for boarding and grooming. She is very nervous but they look after her so very well and we feel very happy knowing she is in very good hands. Can highly recommend

Just picked up my 2 precious Jack Russell’s. The service, staff and care delivery is super professional. One particular staff member really made a special effort to accommodate us following a slight hiccup. 10/10.

I sent my 3 year old bulldog for the 3 week residential for dog reaction and the results are soo good, he looks great and his overall outcome show great strides and he has been handling the ongoing one and one training after his stay. I cannot thank heidi and those that cared for my baby enough. I was very comfortable leaving him in there care even though i missed him sooo much was worth every penny and would trust them to house and train any of my dogs. Xxx

Jake has been going to Paws and Claws for many years now and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. All the staff are lovely and treat all the dogs as though they are their own. Jakes loves his runs round the enclosed paddock. Jake also goes to Helen for grooming and always comes back looking and smelling beautiful. Would highly recommend Paws and Claws for boarding, grooming and training courses with Christine and Heidi are brilliant too.

I booked in my puppy for boarding at paws and claws as we were going away for a week last year . As she was a puppy I was really nervous about leaving her to the point where I nearly cancelled the holiday . I called in with my reservations to see what they had in place to deal with dogs that are young and may not settle and the lady I spoke to Christine really put my mind at ease. She explained she was one of the dog trainers there and they were used to dealing with all situations .. as we got talking, she explained the training package they offered and how it would really benefit my dog as she was at a good age to respond well .. My holiday got cancelled due to covid but I took the plunge and booked the three week training course a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did . Christine has really set the fundamentals in lead walking and obedience and my dog when we went to pick her up, clearly adored her . There was such a lovely bond there !! .. Thank you to paws and claws, Heidi for the updates and especially Christine. You really are excellent at what you do !

Our rescue girl Harper stayed with paws and claws for 4 nights along with 2 cats both of which are rescues too. They all returned happy and we received updates on how they were getting on. We would definitely get all of our pets to stay there with no hesitation. Lovely staff and very professional and caring.

The girls here are fantastic with the cats. The pens are clean, spacious with bed, toys and cat towers included. Love seeing the photos they post on Facebook while we are away 😻 Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cattery.

Finally we met Heidi today who has been training Norman, we had a sneak look at Norman through a viewing window so we could see him in action, well what a transformation, the obedience that he has now is second to non, to actually see him in action took my breath away, Heidi has done him proud with all the hard work she has put in , we will continue with his training at home and knowing if we have any concerns we can call or email Heidi at any time which is great. I would highly recommend the training to any dog the difference is unbelievable.Thank you once again Heidi you are an amazing lady and so professional at what you do. My Mum’s two dogs have been staying at Paws and Claws for over 6 months, as she had been too poorly to look after them. We can’t thank the staff enough for looking after them so well. They provided such a caring environment for them and they really adapted quickly, due to the exceptional care and attention given by all the staff. We are currently on a camping holiday with Archie following his training with Heidi and we felt compelled to write again. Archie has been amazing and has really made our holiday. He is calm around other dogs (of which there are plenty) around people and in cafes and pub beer gardens he just lies down and watches what’s going on - an absolute joy to go out with, thanks again for all you have done 😊

My dog regularly day boards here and loves it. The staff treat him as if he is their own dog, he is certainly spoilt. I also book him in for regular grooming with Helen as he has long and thick hair which I struggle to keep on top of. His hair cut is always fantastic and the finish is immaculate. I know he's in good hands and don't hesitate to recommend the place.

We have used this kennels for many years and the staff are always friendly and professional. They genuinely care very much about the cats and dogs. Our dog always runs in for her stay and comes home happy and healthy. Nothing is too much trouble and they always give updates and photos of the cats and dogs which is lovely to see.

We took our 11 months old rescue dog yesterday for her 3 weeks residential training. Christine was there to welcome us. It was very obvious that she is experienced and knows what she is doing. We couldn’t see the facilities due to COVID restrictions but Christine took some photos for us. And later in the day she sent me some more photos. We had our dog since she was 4 months old and she is a very sweet dog with those she is used and loves other dogs and cats alike. She knows standard commands. But she is very reactive and barking on our walks and at our our neighbours. We can’t wait to see her transformation. Dr A

Amazing! Highly Recommended! Took my very aggressive boy Rex for the 4 week Residential Training course. Truely Amazed at how much Christine managed to teach him in the 4 weeks. I was skeptical at first that he would let anyone even come near him other than me as he's really aggressive, but Christine did an amazing job of gaining his trust and working with him. Lots more work ahead, but he's got a solid foundation now to build on.

Alfie our cocker spaniel stayed here 17th-28th August 2021. It was a last minute booking and they managed to accommodate him. We paid extra so that he would be provided with evening exercise on the large field. Very happy with the service here and would definitely look to book him in here in the future.

We visited as looking to take my 11yr old cocker spaniel. The place is clean & well organised for different diets. The lady was ftiendly & helpful who showed us round. Alfie is staying for 11 nights whilst on holiday in August. Alfie enjoyed his 10 day stay at yr kennels from 17th August. He loved sniffing the fields daily and thankyou for posting us several videos and photos of him looking happy. I would highly reccommend the staff and premises here. Thankyou for letting us pick him up late cos of our delayed flight.

Took our dog Molly there today for her 3 week residential training. Christine who took Molly from us was really nice and friendly. She took us through what would happen with Molly and said she would send photos and videos. Molly settled in really quickly and later in the morning we received photos and videos of Molly in training. She was doing well and we are confident she will do good things under Christine's guidance. Looking forward to more updates.

Paws'n'Claws took amazing care of my boys (two cats) Bobby and Archie. They made sure they were clean (Archie had had a couple of little accidents on the way in, as he doesn't travel well, but they cleaned him up before they did anything else!), warm and safe and had plenty of cuddles while they stayed there. I don't think they wanted to come home!! The staff were friendly and obviously real animal lovers, who genuinely understood how important it was for us to feel as though the boys would be safe with them while we were away. They put photos of them on Facebook to show how they were getting on, we could call at any time to check on them, we felt as though it was a little home from home for them. Amazing service and a truly lovely team taking care of the most important boys in our life — we couldn't have asked for more!!! We will definitely be bringing the boys back soon for a little holiday, they had a fantastic time!!

The team at Paws n Claws have looked after my Old English Sheepdogs for years. I can highly recommend such a wonderful kind patient and doggy mad service. Helen is particularly good with the oldies my dogs have adored her and she s kept them in great condition and looking fabulous even with creaky hips when they cant stand for too long. Anne is wonderful fun (and soppy ) and does a great quick bath n blow for in between times no knots no matts. Louise is efficient friendly and helpful. Our sheepie Ellie loves her pamper sessions and comes home like a beautiful lavander puff ball. Devine. Very happy. Many thanks.

My Westie Wez has used this ‘hotel’ for 8 years and was joined this time by his 6 month old brother Tigger.. a Dachsund. I can highly recommend the care and attention given to the dogs in their care. When collecting them they come running out to say hello and then turn to go back in !! The staff are all so lovely and make leaving them so stress free. Also photographs posted on their Facebook page to get an update while you are away are perfect. Thank you again to all the staff at Paws n Claws From Wez and Tigger fir a great holiday!! My dogs simply love this place & the staff especially who treat them like family. I've had my best furbabies in many different kennels over the years & keep coming here because my guys are cared for, walked, get to run free & get all mucky (and they wash them) and even have facilities for extra heat. My babies come back, happy & clean & not looking a bit traumatised like from places I used when I didn't know better. Mila, our 9 months old, White Swiss Sheperd dog has recently completed a 3 week training course with Christine. Highly recommend this kennel we left our German Shepard with Christine for a 3 wk residential training course as she was highly aggressive towards other dogs after her time with Christine I am now confident in walking her alone which I was never able to do. great service very professional always sent us updated and was happy to answer any questions we had and I went away with a happy,Obedient dog and a certificate that’s states we have both passed out training they have saved my relationship with my girl I’m sooo happy

The best place for my cat. She always comes back clean and happy. The wonderful staff take photos of her playing while I am away (my wife loves that).They actually feed your cat as you ask, and the food you provide! She has NEVER come back with an upset tummy or fleas! Brilliant TEN STARS!!!!

We took our Frenchie Hugo to Paws ‘n’ Claws Animal Hotel for 3 week residential training. Christine was fantastic with him, we couldn’t have asked for more! We received regular photos, videos and messages from her, and we also received weekly progress report via email. We received detailed tuition when we collected Hugo, and when watching Christine demonstrating what he has been taught it felt like we was watching a good boy on Crufts! He now walks properly on his lead, his recall is great and most importantly he no longer goes crazy when he looks at another dog. We can’t thank you enough Christine! And we will continue to train him this way :)

We had a few training problems with dotty our 7 month old German Shepherd and rang paws'n'claws for help , she was booked in for a 3 week course for the following week, when we dropped her off the service was amazing and Christine fully inderstood me being upset at leaving her as I'm so attached to my pups , but the facilities are stunning and they could not be in a better place , in fact the hotel is as it says...... a hotel, we couldn't believe how quick we could get her in and we are so glad we did, what a fantastic job they have done with her and the service when we went to collect after 3 weeks was exceptional, Christine seemed to have worked miracles with Dotty and the amount she learnt in such a short space of time was unbelievable, Christine took her time nearly 3 hours to go through each phase and how we should progress afterwards when got home. We are back at home now on the next phase and Dotty is doing very very well, but 100% there was no way we could of done it without Christine doing this with her first, I would even send my dogs now when they are puppies even without problems as they obviously get 100% attention and care , she was fully groomed and smelling sweet when we got her home to her brother , best money I've spent and would highly recommend the services to anyone , the afrercare now is still brilliant anything I want to know I can contact them thank you for helping us we are over the moon and very overwhelmed with everything you have done

The team here are great. We were worried about our pup being boarded for the first time as he has spent loads of time at home and they made sure he was very well looked after and cared for. He did a few days daycare to get used to it and then had a lovely stay and settled in nicely. Great to get photos and updates and know he was in good hands. A lovely place ♥️
