I first met Bethany with my 5 month old Dachshund/ Jack Russell at her puppy training course. I had no experience of dogs. Bethany gave me confidence and taught both of us so much. She has a natural gift and a genuine love for dogs. Her knowledge is incredible. Her classes are fun and small enough for everyone to feel comfortable, even the most inexperienced owner. We also completed the Teenagers course which was full of extended training and reinforcing basic skills. Another great course. We looked forward to it every week. One thing I now realise is there will be “blips”. I have had support and individual training when we have needed it. Bethany always replies promptly and has a solution. I highly recommend Bethany, I would not trust anyone else.

Had a brilliant time at the Autumn Scents workshop this morning. Bethany was warm & welcoming - reassuring novices like myself and my dog that fun was the order of the day. We learnt a lot from Bethany’s knowledgeable expertise and the venue was set up to engage all the dogs. Thanks for a fun morning, Bronte & I will be back for more!

We love our sessions with Bethany and so does our bull terrier, Rex! She is so knowledgeable and experienced in her field and one thing we really enjoy is how she always manages to explain what your dog is doing, feeling and trying to communicate in the most simple way, which makes us feel closer to our boy because we understand him so much better now! The positive methods she’s taught us have become part of our day to day life making our boy not only happier and more appreciated for his hard work but also safer (he had a track record of swallowing things he shouldn’t!) We have been with Bethany for a good few weeks now and my family are already commenting on how much calmer and at ease Rex seems on walks and at home, how much slower he’s eating his food, and how he’s less protective over bones and high value food! We have also had a day using Bethany’s agility equipment and training methods which was so much fun and so lovely to see him doing things he usually wouldn’t get to show us that he’s capable of. I am always so impressed by how quickly Rex learns new things when using Bethany’s training methods. We have had dog training by other trainers previously and I would always refer Bethany in the future to interested dog owners as she is amazing, friendly and my dog adores her. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bethany has such a calming affect on dogs and Hugo loved her. She is very understanding and helpful. Full of great ideas for training that work. It was also so lovely to be outdoors with the dogs. Would definitely recommend Barking up the Right Tree

Fantastic would recommend to anyone who wants to give their new puppy the best start or bond some more with their existing dog. We had a really difficult time when we first got our puppy; we were worried for a bit as he's a big breed and we are first time owners that we'd got ourselves in too deep! He was wary of everything (cars, people, dogs, objects etc barking at everything). Bethany has been brilliant. We had six 1-2-1 behaviouralist sessions with her and she adapted her teqniques to suit us and our puppy seamlessly. The results are incredible. He's such a pleasure and now he's going from strength to strength in the adolescent classes. Everyone I've met at the classes is really seeing the value of it too and are often surprised at what we achieve in just the hour that we are there. Would highly recommend and when we get our next dog we will be straight to Bethany without a doubt :)

It has been wonderful working with Bethany I have learnt so much from her ... she has helped me greatly to understand why, the barking & whining of my 2 cavapoo’s was happening every time I walked them. One was setting off the other, I had double the trouble! (They are 2.5 years old) This will take time to form a new habit I know, but Bethany has given me the reassurance, knowledge and skills to address this and help calm down their reactivity. I have had dogs for many years, but was puzzled as to how to stop this continuous barking on their walks ... making our walks a stressful & embarrassing time for all! With Bethany’s calm and very knowledgable approach it has greatly improved their walks .. for all!

Beth has been brilliant with our Miniature Pinscher Milo (who is not the easiest of breeds to train! a little dog with BIG attitude). We had a one to one home visit and he took to Beth straight away, it was amazing and comforting to see her immediate rapor and understanding of his breed and nature. She has given us some brilliant pointers and new ways of training. I would recommend Beth to any dog owner and am looking forward to working with her on some future projects.

We took our new rescue dog, Alfie, along to the tenacious teenagers class... We already had some idea about training but this gave us some proven techniques to understand and feel confident adopting with him. Alfie is a smart boy and has already responded well!

Biscuit was reactive to other dogs, to the point were i felt restricted on my dog walks, beth has visited us a few times and each time biscuit has improved greatly. I know there is no overnight cure but the improvement is massive and beth has given me the confidence to improve my walks with her and i know things will keep improving. I would highly recommend Beth to anyone who needs help with their dogs.
