A very big thank you to Claire and her team. We bought a big puppy late last year. A mistake I thought, as trying to train him alongside the unexpected loss of my husband was unachievable. The kindness from Claire and her team to myself and my kids, helping us to understand our naughty pup felt our sorrow was instrumental in helping us pull together to try again. Your exceptional ladies, a well earned thank you.

My pup was very timid and scared of other dogs of any age, especially if they were playful and showed any interest in him. My colleague told me she was taking her pup here, so I phoned to speak to an instructor. I spoke with Claire & I made an appointment for a 1-1 session, so she assess my pup. We've been going to puppy romp on Saturday mornings since June and my pup has come on leaps and bounds and he copes so much better around other dogs. The trainer's provide excellent information, which helps owner's understand what they need to do when their pups are faced with different situations. Been a massive help, wish I'd known about Scallywags sooner. Highly recommend these experienced trainers & the classes. The shop is also very good, with food, treats and other provisions for all ages of dogs. They've recently helped me with finding and fitting a harness that he's happy with - he'd had one previously from a known pet shop, but he didn't like it ! Thank you to all the Scallywags ladies.

A great way for young pups (and new first time dog oeners) to meet and "socialise". Much better when weather is kind as it's outdoors. Great fun, lovely knowledgeable staff and hugely enjoyed by all, especially our young cockerpoo - Sydney, who was clearly exhausted after all the fun.

Bill the border collie had poor recall and , as I suspected , the fault was mine. With a few one to one sessions Claire worked it out and gave me the guidance I needed. Walking Bill is so much more enjoyable for both of us now that I can let him off the lead to have fun. He actually WANTS to come back to me now when I call him.. Thank you Claire.

We just visited the shop to buy a harness for our puppy. The shop assistant was lovely, very helpful and helped us choose a harness. We took advantage of the fitting service and she took great care to find and fit the right size. She had a very caring and calm approach with our puppy, we came aware feeling very happy and will definitly return. We highly recommend scallywags.

Always get my dogs food from their shop. They have a lot of things food, toys, leads and harness, which we also purchased from here. Great friendly staff and always welcoming.

Extremely friendly staff and they give excellent advice on training, handling and behaviour from puppies through to adult dogs. Classes are always great fun and we have learnt so much about dogs and their behaviour since we have found them. I'm proud to say my three dogs are Scallywags dogs!

Fantastic people who have a true love and understanding of dogs. I've taken all three of my dogs here and I have learnt so much about dog behaviour and how to have a great relationship with them. My dogs are learning agility here, but I've also done all the Puppy classes, and recall classes too. Every class I've done here, the emphasis has been on having a fun, positive experience. 100% recommend Scallywags School for Dogs.

A wonderful place to teach your puppy important socialisation skills. They do a whole range of puppy training classes & then more advanced classes & agility for when they’re older. I’ve taken my pup to four puppy romp sessions. The first three were great, she played with lots of dogs. The fourth session we went to was disappointing as she was put in a field with only two other dogs. I did ask if we could come back free of charge for one session as we weren’t satisfied but unfortunately they didn’t oblige. I would recommended puppy romp but just be prepared that your pup might not be socialising with many dogs.

Initially we went to Puppy Romp which was great for socialisation, and have followed with Puppy Classes, where positive training methods are used. It's a joy to work with my puppy, who is learning fast and enjoys the mental stimulation. Thanks so much.
