T. L.I would like to thank Sheree for all her hard work and patience in the puppy training and adolescent classes. My puppy Lulu was really hard to handle at times but with Sheree’s help and some one to one she really came on with leaps and bounds. Can’t recommend her enough.

As a first time puppy owner she really set my mind at ease, and is always happy to provide advice, help, and support. We completed the puppy course which provided us with fantastic groundwork, and we're really looking forward to starting the adolescents class in a few weeks. Our now 6 month old puppy has learned several tricks which we wouldn't have known to teach her without Sherree's guidance, and it's really helped her recall. I can't recommend her enough.
C. A.Sheree is a gem of a trainer. We brought our pup at 8 weeks and had some initial worries which Sheree was quick to reassure us on and provided us an abundance of training advice to get us started. Our pup then attended puppy school, and most recently he’s completed his novice trick training. Thanks to Sheree we have a happy, confident, trained and socialised pup who’s is an absolute joy. We couldn’t rate Sheree highly enough.

N. Z.Sherree is a very knowledgeable dog trainer with a lot of wholehearted love for dogs. She has helped us understand our dog better and bond more through games and training. We did her life skills for adolescents dogs classes, which was really useful to learn essential skills in a controlled environment with distractions. We'd also recommend the one to one sessions for individual training and tackling specific issues.

K. N.I did the puppy course with my dog and it was great. Sherree is very approachable, knowledgeable and up to date on the latest research and practices. She is clearly a very experienced dog trainer/behaviourist and provided extremely helpful suggestions to tweaks when my dog didn't initially respond to a command.
Classes were small and there were plenty of opportunities for questions. In addition to drills and advice/feedback, she shared videos clips as a follow-up in between classes. This course is great value for money and I have already signed up for the junior course.

We would absolutely recommend Sea City Dogs in 'normal' times and we have felt especially lucky to have found Sherree during Covid and so appreciated all the extra time and effort Sherree put into make things work whatever the challenges. The Puppy Class is amazing value for money.
We got our puppy (our first dog) in October and contacted Sherree about her Puppy Classes. From the start the experience was brilliant. Sherree took the time to answer all my initial questions on a phone call before we signed up. The course included an introductory online session and then 6 outdoor classes with an optional online drop in session every week where Sherree covered off various other training and behaviour teaching, advice on everything from food to harnesses and a great group chat where all the 'guardians' could discuss any particular challenges or questions. The training and online sessions were fun and engaging, with excellent instruction, plus follow up videos, so we felt confident to progress what we'd learned.
Various Covid restrictions affected us during the course and Sherree managed these fantastically. We were able to do a number of group classes outside, and Sherree also adapted some sessions in November to one to one teaching outside, and we had an online practical session in the January lockdown. We always felt safe. There were also optional WhatsApp groups to find people to walk with if we wanted (really helpful with some of the socialisation challenges lockdown has presented) and to share puppy stories and tips. You could choose what you wanted to get involved with and there was no pressure. Sherree was always available for any queries.
Probably the best thing about Sea City Dogs is Sherree's obvious passion for the dogs and training. There were all varieties of puppy and everyone got personal attention. Sherree was especially kind to our very lively Goldador, even when jumpy and muddy! Great experience, looking forward to joining a Junior class in the future.

We felt jittery as brand new Puppy owners but Sherree put us at ease and had been supportive, informative and reassuring during every session. It’s so nice to know there is someone to go to ask questions and an opportunity to share the journey with others. It’s also been great fun! Highly recommended!

We have learnt so much, Sherree has provided so much good advice and support, and the sense of community provided by a WhatsApp group has been really helpful. Although the classes were on Zoom because of the Covid lockdown, they have been well worth it, and excellent value for money. I would thoroughly recommend Sea City Dogs and I am looking forward to joining the Junior class in the spring when we will be out in the open!
C. N.You don't need to have a 'naughty' dog to benefit from working with a dog trainer!
We wanted puppy training classes for our new dog, who had not been walked or socialised by her previous owners, as well as some individual lessons to show us how to better understand and use positive led techniques to train our young dog. This was honestly the best decision I made for Loxie in terms of her upbringing. Sherree helped us create habits for Loxie that had never occured to me such as rewarding her every time she looked back at us. Sherree was also wonderful with reassuring us about puppy behaviour Loxie would grow out of and behaviours that needed addressing.I now have a well socialised, confident young dog who regularly checks in, is highly responsive even with distractions and has perfect recall.
After working with Sherree I can confidently say that I am now significantly more educated when it comes to understanding my dog's behaviour and we have been able to eliminate undesirable behaviours. Sherree is a fantastic teacher, who helped build our confidence as well as Loxie's. She quickly built a strong bond with Loxie, and we now feel confident that we have a reliable, highly knowledgeable contact should our dog run into any problems in the future. Sherree always has time for us no matter how small the question and will happily talk through any worries.
We also took Loxie to one of Sherree's puppy classes that had been catered to older rescue puppies. The puppy classes themselves were stimulating and informative, and took a hands-on approach to guide the group in developing positive behaviours in our dogs as well as teaching them useful skills and tricks. I would highly recommend Sea City Dogs!
s.Sherree is lovely and friendly which makes you feel at ease when you’re learning something new rather than feeling like you’re at school being bossed around,
Her classes are very informative and if you do struggle she is very supportive, if you are making any mistakes or your dog is not following to plan she will give suggestions On other ways to try, after class she will keep in contact throughout the week and sending videos of things you have learnt in class and are able to keep watching them back to gain experience in your home practice. I would highly recommend
