Reviews of Paw Help Rescue and Adopt UK

We found Paw Help Rescue after being unable to adopt from UK rescues due to having young children. Elina was very thorough and helpful throughout. They did virtual home checks, asked detailed questions on their forms and kept us updated on the day of collection. All the dog profiles are very detailed, so you can easily tell if the dog will suit your particular family circumstances. We found the whole process straightforward and we now have a wonderful new addition to our family. We will always use this group in future, I just wish we had a mansion to house them all!

If you are looking to adopt a dog then you are at the right place! From
Communication, dog updates and support they are top level. Paw help made sure we were the right family for our fur baby Ella. They do put their rescued dogs first. Thank you for all you do to make sure these dogs have a better life.

I could not recommend Paw Help Rescue and Adopt enough. The whole process was so easy, we had regular updates on Minnie’s journey to the UK and we actually got Minnie earlier than first expected. Thank you to all the team for the amazing work you do. Also to Inga for looking after Minnie before she came to us!

I can’t recommend paw help highly enough, Elina and the team are absolute hero’s! They work tirelessly to support owners and dogs, whilst holding down jobs, fostering dogs that haven’t yet found their forever home and providing support to new owners. They really and truly have the dogs best interests at heart.
We adopted Otis in November, and he is honestly the best dog in the world. Not only is he super cute, but he came partly trained which we were surprised by! He’s clever, gentle, fun and the worlds biggest snuggle monster, we wouldn’t hesitate to adopt again from paw help. Thank you Elina for matching us with the best dog ever, we adore him!

Paws help rescue and adopt uk are incredible. They gave us the best part of our life, our dog Bruno. They absolutely love dogs and will do anything to make sure these dogs are loved and cared for. I can’t fault a single part of them, they have helped us through all aspects of the adoption, and over a year and a half after adopting Bruno, they still message and keep up to date with everything that is going on in Bruno’s life. I have no doubt that they would do anything possible to help any dog they see. I am so grateful for paw help rescue and adopt, they gave us our 3-legged bestie

I have adopted the most beautiful 8 month old girl. Process was straight forward with great updates and we were home checked with a video call interview too.
Elina and the whole team are amazing and I really don’t know how they do it. The dogs are so well looked after and have full documentation. A very well organised and professional service I would recommend to anyone, with great back up support and after care.
Remember to donate too as they’re always grateful for dog items, duvets, towels etc..
I really can’t thank them enough for what they do.

We are super happy with our dog.
They did the adequate checks but without all the non sense of some have.
Good and nice people working to help furry ones. Really happy with the process and the support groups afterwards. I will come back for my next dog

A fantastic team of rescuers who work continuously to find forever homes for dogs in need. Great communication and there is always support available if needed. We can not fault Paw Help.

Having applied for multiple dogs through UK based rehoming charities, we had struggled to even get an acknowledgment of our application. We then came across Paw Help and applied for Nova (was Alu). We had a phonecall from Elina within 45 minutes of making the application, a video call/interview/discussion the next morning and then 3 weeks later, picked up our gorgeous doggy. We have now had her 3 weeks and the communication for Elina and Inga, as well as the wealth of information they send over beforehand has been exceptional. Any questions pre or post adoption and they are more than happy to help and support you. We have had Nova 3 weeks now and whilst its still early days, we cant complain about the process so far! We can not reccomend enough adopting through Paw Help, we can't fault them!

I fostered the beautiful Stella, from Paw Help Rescue.
Elina was very efficient when arranging the video call, home check, collection etc. Lots of information and great communication. She found the perfect home for Stella.
I had a behavioural question and Inga was quick to answer with good advice.
The transporters were great too. Even after they had a long and delayed trip, we were greeted with a smile on their face.
During and after the process of adoption/fostering you have constant support from other adopters and the team.

Been following paw help Uk for a while then decided to rescue a baby of our own. Elina is amazing. From start to finish, everyone was so lovely, the drivers were happy to see everyone with their new babies even tho they had driven for over 24hrs. The support all the way through with updates and pictures/videos, information and everything you ever need.
There’s so much support I am so happy xx Iv added a pic of our beautiful Harley who we picked up 13/2/22 💕💕

Brilliant charity! The adoption process was thorough and professional. I have had my rescue pup for nearly 3 weeks now and I can’t thank the rescue enough for my furry bestie 💜 I would recommend anyone to adopt through Paw Help Rescue! They are achieving so many great things by helping these animals. Please see attached my little rescued angel🐶

After years of trying to adopt a puppy and being unsuccessful due to rules and limitations due to young children and high popularity when it comes to puppies. Paw help rescue a dog adoption UK was suggested to me by a volunteer when I happened to be at work. She suggested I look the page up and enquire about any puppies available for adoption. A few days later I had spoken to Elina, who was amazing! We had a home check via video chat and this is when she introduced me to Rocky. He was the last puppy within his litter needing a home. His mum was rescued from Ukraine after the war started and she had her puppies in the UK. After years of waiting for a puppy, we instantly fell in love with Rocky. Elina told us they were ready to go to their new home literally days after our home check. Less than a week later, Rocky was home with us. We haven't looked back and we're so happy he is a member of our family. Thank you for all you do Paw help ❤️🐾

We were very fortunate to adopt our gorgeous puppy from Paw UK. The application process was quick and easy. Thank you Elina and the team!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, Elina was amazing throughout. Luna (was Indi) has settled in practically straight away, wouldn’t change her for anything. 100% would recommend adopting a rescue.

I cannot recommend Paw Help Rescue and Adopt enough. Our dog is absolutely lovely and such a good match to us. The whole adoption experience was amazing from beginning to picking up our dog. We were kept updated every step of the way. The biggest thank you ever to the Paw Help Team!!! 😊

I found out about Paw Help Rescue & Adopt in June 21, when a friend adopted a dog Sasha from Ukraine. I joined the face book group and was immediately drawn, as I have always had rescue dogs and just wanted to do what I could do to help the charity. They are an amazing charity making such a difference to so many dogs lives. I initially helped when fostering my first dog in November 21, Tiana who then got adopted. I then adopted Angel on December 23rd, who has now been with me for nearly 9months. She is a wonderful dog and I am so grateful for Paws Help for bringing her into our lives, she was nearly 9 months when we adopted her, and just fitted in so quickly with our other doggies. She was amazing & literally had to pinch ourselves how lucky we were. I have always adopted rescue dogs, it is incredibly rewarding, they know they have been rescued & look at you sometimes in disbelief as they are just so contented.
I have also helped a friend adopt from Paws Help - Roxy & she is also having a wonderful life too🐶💕😊.
I know I will be helping Paw Help again with fostering when I can & will always recommend to Friends. The rescue back up is incredible & are always on hand for advice & help if you need it.
Thank you so much Elina, Inga & all the incredible team of volunteers 🥰

We adopted our puppy, just over 7 weeks are ago, and couldn't me more happy with the service we received from the 1st contact to the Zeus arriving.
Elina was fantastic all the way through out and was more than happy to answer any questions that I had even the odd ones 😀, and the support after Zeus joining us has been great.
I would recommend this charity whole heartedly, Zeus has filled a big hole in our family after losing our girl in January, and we will be forever greatly to the whole team for rescuing, caring and transporting him to us.

We got our little dog Rex from Paws Help in May this year. The adoption process from start to finish was incredible, the team at Paws Help are amazing and they truly care about the welfare of the dogs they take in. They ensure that you know what you're doing and if you ever need help they're always there for you and the dog. Honestly couldn't fault them and would highly recommend them.

Can honestly say that from initial enquiry it couldn't have been a more easy process to adopt my gorgeous Poppy. She is such a joy and my other dog, Colin, loves her too. She is still nervous, still has accidents at home, digs holes all over the lawn, will probably forever be a work in progress, but such a kind, gentle little soul, and makes me laugh every day. We love our little girlie and wouldn't change her for the world ♥️♥️♥️

We are so happy with Paw Help Rescue and Adopt UK, from initial phone call through to pick up, communication was clear, our questions were answered, news on the pups journey was shared and we adopted a lovely little sausage dog who we adore so much. Highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a dog, they do amazing work!
R. L.
Such a lovely business, we got a lovely dog and elina made the process so easy! The people working on this are heroes! You won't feel left alone after adopting, there's lots of help! A trustworthy, professional, and friendly business.
V. B.
Got our lovely girl from this charity. They've supported us at every step. Well recommended!

Wanted another dog for a while and saw a dog that needed fostering. I had excellent communications with organisers and went to collect the dog. He fitted right in with us and our other dog, so I decided to adopt him. I've been able to discuss issues and updates of positive outcomes on the facebook page.

We got our Luka from Paws in September 2021. He was a nervous, scared and not very confident pup that had a few house moves already. After 14 months, he is a totally different dog: confident, cheeky and so loving! We will be forever thankful to Elina and the team for our precious Luka!
A. J. O.
We collected sonia now angel 11 months ago and you wouldn't recognise her as the same dog she has so much personality and loves play and has to be next to me all the time as she is so protective of me. She is so loving and loves to snuggle up to you. I would recommend that if you are looking for a dog and have the patience to help a distressed dog then please help paw save these unwanted dogs, you will never regret it.

I had no choice but to rehome due to a heartbreaking chapter in my life. I really didn’t want for my dog to go into kennels where he would feel stressed out as he has already been through a hard enough time losing his sister a couple of months ago. I felt it was unfair to place him where he could fall into a depression and watch people come and go and not feel loved or play with other dogs like he’s been used to as it’s unsure how long he would be there before getting adopted.
I’m so glad I found this rescue. Elina is so supportive, so caring and so reassuring. I was emotional on the drive there but when I got there the amount of love and care for him was immediate. He absolutely adored Elina, her children and his foster siblings almost straight away. He was the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time since the passing of his sister. Elina asked me what kind of home I’m after for him, explained the next steps and process and reassured me how loved he was gonna be and looked after however I didn’t even need convincing of the obvious.
Can’t thank Elina and her little family enough for helping me at such short notice of this tragic time.
L. L.
I Found Elina on Facebook, I was loosing hope in finding a puppy as all the charities in the Uk i applied for never got back to me.
I can say for sure, thanks to Elina and her amazing team of heroes, I found my beautiful Blanca, she is the joy of our lives and i will be forever thankful.
These people care about the dogs and want the absolute best for them always.
Thank you so muc for everything! You are truly amazing

A super rescue, with genuine care for welfare. Inga and Elina does a wonderful job and has a great approach to the care they gives pets, as well as they rehoming process. Thanks so much for all you do❤️

Fabulous charity. I have had rescue dogs before and whilst the dogs have been wonderful, I have had no support post adoption. This charity holds your hand all the way through, you join a group of adoptive parent to share advice and support. You are also given manuals to help your dog to settle in and Elina and Olga are always there if you have any concerns all issues. My little pup is so sweet, healthy and delightful. I intend to adopt more little souls through this charity.

Absolutely amazing group of people who rescue dogs from conditions that are just unimaginable. Our adoption process was thorough enough that they checked we were a good home but also easy, well communicated and smooth. We now have our beautiful baby at home with us and we couldn't be happier. The foster home she had been in, in the UK was fantastic. Highly recommended.
A. P.
I rescued a dog where the adoption had broken down almost instantly. Ilena was quick to respond to my request, video call a garden check, put me in touch with the family, provided how best to care for my dog and provided follow up support and advice. It is clear that the welfare of the dogs is paramount. The description of my dog's personality was very accurate. Her team work hard to train and socialise the dogs so well. I would recommend Paw Help and Rescue.

We adopted our dog from Paw Help in October 21, we had a fantastic experience with Elina and Team from start to end. Elina and team work super hard not only to make sure the dogs get the best care possible but also to keep you informed and support you as a new rescue dog owner. We're so happy to have our reacue and would thoroughly reocmmend using Paw Help for rescuing a dog.

Paw Help is a small organisation who bend over backwards to help the animals they rehome. Our experience with them was great. The fee is perfectly reasonable to cover the costs involved. They are honest about describing the dogs in terms of their health and behaviour (as much as they can be based on their observations in Foster care). The dogs are very well cared for when they are rescued, and also on the journey to the UK, given rest and exercise stops regularly. The team maintain a very active Facebook page and are always there to support. There are hundreds of people on the Paw Help page who have successfully adopted from them and will testify to the work they do.
This is not a huge slick company, it is a small group of dedicated people on a mission. And in my experience of adopting our lovely dog, they are doing a fantastic job.

Elina and Rebecca have been so helpful and supportive whilst we Foster to Adopt our furbaby. We were kept up to date with info and arrival times and have since had regular checkins from them too. Absolutely delighted with our dog and how she is settling in with us, and we would certainly recommend this rescue charity to anyone who is seriously thinking of offering a foster home or a forever home to a rescue dog. They do wonderful work and are tireless and selfless in helping these dogs find safe and loving homes.

We adopted a beautiful little girl from Paw Help. They were amazing from start to finish. They are very careful about vetting and communication is excellent from start to finish. They are a professional and caring organisation dedicated to the welfare of animals. Adopting this little girl has enhanced our lives and brought us a great deal of happiness, thanks to Paw Help Rescue and Adoption

Cannot recommend Paw Help enough - from our first contact with Elina through to collecting our dog has been such a brilliant experience so much support all the way through and everything they said about her was absolutely spot on - she is an absolute joy everything we could’ve wished for & we are so happy & thankful to have rescued her ❤️
W. t. P.
Absolutely amazing rescue. The whole process was amazing from initially speaking to Elina to collecting our dog Uma! The drivers were so lovely too and made collecting her really simple. Uma or as she's now called, Bella, is super happy in her new home. Thank you so much everyone at paw rescue!!!!
B. H.
We fostered our dog jery from Ukraine for 7months now. Elina has supported us the whole time and guided us with what was/ is best for jery. Jery isn’t a easy dog and at times I’ve had to contact elina a lot. She has always supported us as a family and offered help with jery. Highly recommend. This lady goes above and beyond for these dogs.

We adopted Ralf, a German shepherd, 6 weeks ago from paw help rescue, Elina was wonderful from beginning to end. Made sure that i had experience with this breed and that we would be a good fit for him and even put up with, in good humour, my constant messaging on Ralfs journey over!! He is an absolutely beautiful boy with such a wonderful temperament and is so loving and gentle. Cannot thank these lovely people enough. They do a wonderful job and always make sure that the dog is the correct fit for the family.

Recently adopted a dog through this rescue centre, absolutely amazing experience. I applied for a couple dogs and ended up with Skyla a german short haired pointer! Was great having a chat with Elina about her and figuring out if she’s right for me and understanding her breed more as I’ve never had one before. We chatted for ages, lots of contact and any questions I had she was quick to answer. The process was very simple and quick for me, they have to make sure the dog is a right match for yourself also which gave me alot of confidence in them knowing the dogs were going to suitable homes. I was sent information packs on how to help them settle into the home quickly, interactions with dogs and cats etc was fantastic as rescuing a dog ofcourse means taking on some behaviours they’ve learnt from their past.
Was a fantastic experience and has been amazing seeing Skyla grow and relax into her new life, as well as seeing updates on the Facebook group of other dogs in their new homes.
I’m certain to be rescuing my next dog from here when we’re ready. Amazing feeling rescuing a dog and the team is absolutely amazing. Can’t thank them enough

I adopted my golden girl pup Betty just 1 week ago from this amazing charity who do vital work to save dogs across Europe. Their communication has been spot on but please bear in mind that the angels running this operation have jobs, families & are looking after their own dogs plus fostering so a little patience is required at times. I have found the process professional, they have given sound advice, plenty of documents as to what to expect from your rescue along with dos, don'ts & links to videos for training. From what I have seen so far there is plenty of after suppport & 121s if needed. You are not left alone! Plus, there is the group you connect & communicate with along the way who are there to support you. There have been some barriers trying to adopt from the UK- often for fair reasons, but I was also just waiting for the right dog to pop up & it happened to be Betty. There is more value in knowing you have likely saved these dogs from mistreatment, terrible conditions & in some circumstances kill shelters. Betty came from Ukraine this week- my heart goes out to any country on the brink of or at war. Betty is safe with us & she cannot believe her luck she has 2 humans giving her all this love & attention. She is currently upstairs on the bed with my partner John! For some dogs it can take longer to come out of their shell but with patience, time & support from all of those involved in this wonderful charity you will get there & have the pawfect canine companion!

We had been looking to rescue a dog for some time but hadn’t found the right dog or the right organisation. When I came across Paws Help UK I was firstly impressed with how much care is taken to present and describe each dog looking for a home. We saw one that we thought would be ideal and applied to adopt him, not expecting that it would actually happen. In short, within a week, he had travelled from Poland and was with us! Having said that, the selection process for a new home is rigorous and Elina and the Paws Help teams prime objective is to find the BEST home for each dog. This is their focus, when we met to collect our new family member, she nearly forgot to take our money! (Payment mainly covers travel and vaccination costs). For a small and relatively new organisation they are very well organised and professional. Everything they do is for the dogs 🐕 The transport team who undertake the long journeys to bring the dogs into the UK are very caring and again, professional in what they do. Elina has been very supportive, lots of advice is given for helping the new pet settle in, and she still gets in touch to see how he’s doing. We are delighted with how it has all worked out, and we’re pretty sure the dog we now call Yuri, is super happy too!
N. B.
The most caring, trustworthy and wonderful people. They work tirelessly to help bring these poor dogs to the UK, never give up in a dog even if it needs a lot of medical care and continue to support and save them in the UK when adopters need help or let the dogs down. I can't rate them enough. An amazing team of people.
C. D.
Thanks to this organisation, we know have a lovely dog at home. His character works so well with us and we had great advice and guidance from Paw Help.
They try their hardest which is heart warming and do a great work.

Elina and her team have been absolutely wonderful throughout the adoption process. We have been lucky enough to adopt our dog Tara and we couldn’t be happier with her. When we applied to adopt her we were impressed by how comprehensive the application form was and how much care and attention had been taken in choosing the right family for each dog. Once we had been chosen for Tara we were sent photographs, videos and updates regularly and had video calls with Elina. Collection day was filled with emotion and happiness which was evident from Elina and her team, not just us! Paw Help are a team of people who genuinely love dogs and who are making an incredible effort to save as many as they can. Thank you so much for enriching our lives with our beautiful girl. ❤️
A. M.
Elina and the team went above and beyond to get our precious pup to us. They clearly love and genuinely care for these dogs, desperate to get them to their forever home and make them feel safe. Our 6 month ish puppy has obviously been well looked after in the care of Paw Help and so has settled into our home perfectly. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to rehome a rescue dog 🐶

We recently decided to adopt a dog and I found paw help rescue through Facebook. Saw the most beautiful dog and applied .. overjoyed to receive an email to inform we had been selected! We now have our lovely girl home in the uk and she’s fitted in so well in our family. Everyone at paw help Elina , Inga, and many others have been the upmost professional, lovely and caring team who do everything in their power to bring homeless dogs to uk families. They continue to support us even now. I can’t thank them enough for their hard work , commitment and care to these beautiful dogs and us.

Elina and the team are amazing- we've just rescued our dog Indy from Paw Help Dogs, and have nothing but good things to say about the experience!
Elina has been so supportive and worked so hard to get Indy to us, we're so thankful for everything she and the team have done.
Indy is an absolute delight, and exactly as described.
This is a group of volunteers going above and beyond to do an amazing thing for the dogs in their care

Massive thank you to these lovely people for allowing us to adopt our little lady. After searching for a few months we found the advert for our dog and were straight on the phone. We found the whole process really easy with them and they kept us well informed of how she was doing whilst we waited for her to arrive. Having the updates of her journey home was really nice as well. Cant thank you enough, our little lady has settled in with us and its like she's always been here. Thank you again.

A fantastic charity organisation to adopt from. Elina and her team went out their way to bring 20 adorable dogs back from Poland. Especially during this pandemic and all the obstacles and challenges they went through. My rescue dog is amazing I'm so happy. Thank you to all of you involved.😁

Paw help rescue and Adopt is such a wonderful dog rescue organization! They take in dogs from the UK and abroad and find loving homes for them all. Every prospective fosterer/adopter is home checked and dogs are matched well to their prospective owners and their families. 🏡🐶❤

After getting in touch with Elina she helped us pick out the right dog to suit our family. With everything going on with Covid, Elina managed to get our Pearl to us. From the moment we saw her photo we fell in love and she has been so well behaved since coming home to us. Pearl brings so much joy to our little family and the love that she shows us is unreal. Took her into Pets at Home and they said that she is one of the best behaved rescue dogs that they have had in the store and she's only been with us 2 days. Thank you Elina for your hard work x
S. F.

(Translated) I am a volunteer in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region, 8 years old. In my care, today 150 dogs living in the industrial zone, large and small enterprises and 15 cats (at home) and 11 street dogs, as well as volunteers whom I help with food for 70 cats and 20 dogs.
The war in our country has added problems not only to people, but also to animals. Unfortunately, many were left without housing, work and income, assistance to the homeless has decreased, but we must not lose heart. We are still at work - sterilization, treatment, accommodation and feeding, all this must be done in order to reduce the population and give the opportunity for a normal life to those who do not have a home and a family.
I, the volunteers of the city and my wards from the bottom of my heart THANK your organization for such a powerful support with food, carrying, etc. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the trust and help this is not the first time.
We try very hard not to give a lift, we do everything possible for a decent life for our wards.
You are the BEST! Low bow to you! Peace to all!!!

(Translated) I want to express my gratitude
PAW HALP RESCUE and volunteer Inga Vorobyova for the help provided in the form of dog food, toys, walking equipment (leashes, collars), blankets and other goodies !!!
All of this is to support
Private shelters that find it difficult to keep their animals! We have already shared food with Yana Okhotyuk, who takes care of more than 100 animals. Verger Olga, who also looks after more than a hundred animals.
They also transferred food to the shelter "Berserk" and "Barsik". The rest will go to the Kindred Souls in the village of Dachnoe!

PAW HALP RESCUE

(Translated) Hello! I will not get tired of thanking you for your support and help for my wards! We have food, which means a lot, and the other day we had replenishment. The military brought the injured comrade. The dog is being treated, his wounds do not allow him to move much, so that the seams do not come apart, here your gift, a carrying cage, was very useful to us. In the photo, our Ryzhik for a walk!)
The sunbeds that were given to us are also very handy, since they are always in short supply, in the photo, it was not without sharing), and there are offended ones)))
Thank you very much for your help!!!!!

(Translated) We are a big family from Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. Large, because there are eleven dogs and seven cats in our family) With the outbreak of hostilities in our city, we decided to leave. First of all, for the sake of their animals. We are responsible for them, they do not understand anything and, moreover, they are not to blame for anything. So we ended up in a village in the Poltava region. We all drove in the same car, for which special thanks to my husband, he literally stuffed us there!) To say that we didn’t take anything except animals, I think it’s not even worth it. And then a girl wrote to us that she could help with food. Her name is Inga, she noticed us and decided to help, for which we are very grateful! And yesterday we got treasures))) Food, leashes, tape measures, beds, bowls, snacks, treatment products, toys! Dog lovers know that this is just a dream!) And how happy the kids were, they helped to unpack everything))) Special thanks for warm blankets and a blanket, for towels! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who participated in this! These are Elina from Paw Help UK and dozens of their friends who collected help, Daniel Sandford, who brought her from England to Ukraine from the TRANSPORT A SISTER/Help Ukraine 2022 volunteer organization he created, Thomas Gawatsch from the international volunteer organization WACI, who delivered from Lviv to Kyiv, Paul Hodgson and Ivan from We Ukrainians who brought all this wealth to us! Thanks to the volunteer family Inge and Vladimir from Lviv for collecting and packing all this, organizing logistics throughout Ukraine, this is also a huge job! (Translated) Hello! At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, I brought 10 seals from Kyiv to the Cherkasy region. Neighbor cats and dogs began to come here, so I got more than 20 cats and 4 dogs. It was very difficult for me to feed them and I met lnga Vorobjova. She helped me get humanitarian aid from Paw Help Rescue and Adopt UK to which I am grateful from the bottom of my heart and a huge thank you from me and my animals.

(Translated) We are a volunteer organization that helps homeless animals in Kyiv and the Kyiv region! We have been rescuing animals from the streets for 3 years.
During the war, we did not stop and continued this work. Animals from Irpin and Buchi helped many. Now we are faced with the fact that there is a lack of basic things for keeping animals - fodder and medicines (for worms, for the skin), diapers.
Thank you Paw Help for not refusing us help! Our little one is very happy with goodies and food!
