The best place for your fur-babys. Top quality service always. The ladies are always happy to help and so professional. My cockapoo absolutely loves going to day care. He so excited when we pull up outside, i cant get him out the car quickly enough. He runs straight in and is always greeted with a big fuss. His excitement to be there just shows how well he's treated. When he is groomed, his coat is always cut lovely and he smell absolutely delicious. You've got everything you need under one roof. I couldn't reccomend this place enough

Honestly, I would not take my boy to anywhere else. Since my dog was a puppy he has been going for regular grooms and goes to daycare every week. The service is always first class and the grooms, well what can I say nearly every single person on our dog walks ask where we go because of the amazing work that is done. I trust Beth and the team with all my heart and can’t express my thanks enough for everything they do. Everything from the picture updates of him in school to him having a Halloween party and Christmas photo shoot. Top class service and an outstanding family run business who always go above and beyond.

Thank you for grooming rusty and shadow at short notice due to our moving to Swansea from up north and their being 5 weeks late for grooming. Excellent job done although we may need minor changes next time. Overall a very good groom and both dogs seemed happy when I picked them up which is the most important thing. Terry

Took my 4month old Yorkiepoo in for a pet pamper and was really impressed with the high standard of care given to Dila. Would love to share a good photo but Dila is Black with very little white markings and the photos I have managed to take do not show the posh trim and tidy she received, she just comes out as a black ball of fur. Please take my word that these groomers are stars. Dila even smelt gorgeous, a treat for a dog who loves water and mud.

Bethan and her team are not only excellent dog groomers but they are also dog lovers, which makes such a difference when you have a bit of a diva like our little girl who isn't well known for cooperating! Bethan however has a firm but friendly hand, and quite honestly I wouldn't entrust our little darling to anyone else. Not only that, but Bethan has given us so much free advice on training, feeding, games we can play, and more, so it's the business that keeps on giving. Premises are very modern and spotlessly clean, and you always get a friendly welcome, plus they have followed COVID-19 guidelines to the letter, which is great to see. All in all a well deserved 5 star review time and time again, and I can't rate highly enough.

I have been taking my dogs to this family of groomers for almost 2 years and I can honestly say the dog's have never looked so good. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for any of them. They obviously care about all the dog's they groom and are always welcoming and accommodating both to the dog's and their owners. Could not speak more highly about the fantastic care and service from Beth and the team at Short Bark and Sides. Being a first time dog owner, I had a lot to learn and fast! I was very keen to begin socialising my cavapoochon puppy early on and settle him into a daycare/ grooming routine. From my very first enquiry Beth took the time to thoroughly explain each process over email and was very accommodating with times to visit for a taster session. From the first visit it was clear that Beth and the team were extremely professional and really have each dogs welfare at heart. I worked with the team to build Ollie up to full days at daycare. We started with 3-4 hour sessions until he was confident enough to stay for a full day. My puppy now is so excited to visit daycare he literally cannot wait to get out of the car when he sees us arriving and he has bonded so well with Beth! There are lots of mental stimulation games, agility training and Ollie especially loves the sand pit! The improvement in his social skills since beginning daycare here has been amazing. He is comfortable and confident and most importantly so happy around other dogs. The first time he was groomed he was not keen on the dryer! Beth had explained to me that when grooming the team work with the dogs and will not go any further than they are comfortable with which is something I really respected, appreciated and understood. After seeking her professional advice we established a 2 week grooming routine until he was comfortable. The improvement since we did this has been incredible. Today he had his first full groom at 17 weeks old and he looks adorable! Working full time it is a real weight off my shoulders knowing my puppy is so well cared for and happy. He is going from strength to strength thanks to Beth and her lovely team :) I cannot thank Beth and the team enough for all their care, help and support. 5 star service all round!!

My 9 year old beagle Mason has been attending SBAS daycare weekly since January and he absolutely loves it! He's becoming more confident in himself and definitely getting fitter! It's such a comfort to me knowing he is in good hands and having such a great time while I'm in work. Another bonus is he can have a groom while he's there and comes home de-shedded and smelling fresh!

Brought my dog here for the past 8 months, he absolutely hated his hair cut but they were fab with him, such lovely ladies in there nothing it too much trouble and love the fact they do a pick up and drop off service, would recommend short bark and side to anyone.

Buster loved his puppy pamper in short bark and sides. They were amazing with him and he came out smelling like a million dollars!
