Just had to write a review as so pleased with this training School…. I started going to ‘Janet’s puppy Skool’ about a month ago with my 12 week old standard poodle puppy and I am so impressed, Janet is so knowledgeable and puts the dog first she is actually training me! as well as the dog, Scarlet can’t wait to get to the class and loves all the fun things she gets to do while being trained at the same time, I love the ethos of the training that is kindness and reward …Not dominance, shouting or pulling!! and you get great advice if you need it. I have been to training classes before with previous Poodles but this is the best I am so pleased I researched well and found the Puppy Skool. I would recommend highly. We’ve been coming to Janet’s Puppy Skool since our puppy was 11 weeks old, following a recommendation. Janet and her whole team are kind and patient with both the dogs and us owners! She actively includes my young daughter who loves coming to the classes with me and has also been very welcoming to my husband and son. Our puppy has benefited hugely from attending the classes, so much so, we are still attending, he is 7 months old now. The classes are reward and praise based, no puppy ever does anything they are not comfortable with. On top of all that, we have met some lovely people. I would thoroughly recommend Janet’s Puppy Skool to all fellow dog owners.

Mr Hinder (see his review below) must have attended a totally different Janet's Puppy Skool to the one my pup and I go!! We have been going for many months, with others who have been going for much longer, and every class we have attended has been structured, informative and fun. We have been encouraged, guided and nurtured. My pup and I have each learnt so much and our lives are enriched from the experience. Janet and her team are kindness itself. They all advocate gentle reward based training. At any sign of hesitation to an objective my puppy was encouraged and emboldened by Janet personally and in no time at all the puppy was fully engaged and participating. Based on our personal experience my pup and I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

Really great school. Have brought both of our puppies to train in such a friendly environment. Not only just getting the weekly class but also getting the extra activities to help the puppies play with each other, learn to walk nicely on a lead and to behave indoors. Always Happy to recommend

All my 3 dogs have been grounded at Janet's puppy skool. I have worked with her and her team and seen how much they care about what they do. All so competent and Janet so so knowledgeable. Sadly sometimes it is actually impossible to train the owners, this I have found is the only reason I have seen for things to break down and is most important in understandingyour dog. My dogs are all amazing and well trained thanks to Janet. Can't recommend enough.

Being part of Janet’s puppy Skool is like being part of a big family. Everyone Is so super friendly and helpful. My Freddie loves going to class. The extra add ons of organised group walks and social activities all helps with the learnt. Real value for money, fun and informative. Janet is always willing to help with any niggling problems as everyone learns different pace or different way.

Janet is a top trainer with her dog Mac. Fun classes with lots of good ideas. Everyone enjoys themselves and the bonus is you and your dog get to know each other better. If you do what Janet says all puppy difficulties can be resoved. There is a lot of love in this hidden gem. A stunning old farmhouse in Pond Street. You can forget you are in a busy town as you wander down the lanes past the Pond with no traffic and beautiful trees in the hedgerows.
