Steve is just brilliant. He is very experienced and extremely knowledgable about dogs behaviour and when working with him it is obvious he has years of experience and knows what he is doing. We went to see Steve because our 1 1/2 year old cocker spaniel was very bad on recall, was pulling on the lead, had “leave it” issues and a few behaviour problems when walking on the lead. Steve is extremely calm when working with you and your dog and the techniques he uses are fantastic. The first session I had with Steve was purely on recall and after that session when I walked my dog everything had changed. It turned out it was just as much me who needed to be more confident and show leadership which Steve taught me in one session. I really didn’t think that one training session would do the trick but I was proved wrong. After that day I truly enjoyed walking my dog and suddenly it became fun taking him off the lead in the park. Other sessions we have had with Steve has been lead walk and the tantrums we experience when walking him on lead and we love how we can see the change in our dog. He has also had our dog for a whole training day where he has heavily been working on all of the above issues especially “leave it” (dropping stuff) and omg what one day can do! We as owners obviously need to be consistent from now on and show leadership to our dog which Steve has taught us. I can highly recommend Steve, he is fantastic and a dream to work with, and on top of this a super nice guy, a true dog whisperer! 😃

I am very happy with the service provided by Majed for our little frenchie Coco. He was amazing since the first session, taught us so much on how to train her. After completing the 3 sessions over 3 week, Coco has really improved a lot. He brought out the potential in her and she has amazed the whole family at how smart she is. Majed is amazing and very patient and has shown so much knowledge on how to train dogs of any breed. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to work with him again when Coco is older.

We recently had three training sessions with Majed for our Goldador who was approaching two years old. Although she is generally a calm dog, we were having some problems with recall and her eating things she found on the ground whilst out walking. Majed showed masterful control of a dog from the first time he came to our house. He gave us lots of tips and tricks which we practiced with him at our house, in the street and in a park. Our dog's behaviour was significantly improved. We've tried several dog training classes and trainers in the past and Majed was the most effective. He is a very engaging and friendly trainer and I recommend him highly.

Majed helped us out with our 3 year old aggressive Shih Tzu, Caesar. He was really knowledgeable and gave us very good guidance! We started noticing differences with our dog and saw that he was much calmer. Majed was an excellent dog trainer and helped me out in a time where I thought there was no hope left in changing my dog! We had some puppy sessions with Majed with our 4 month old labradoodle Juno. As soon as Majed came into the house he had Juno under his spell it was very impressive and we learned a lot!! In less than an hour she was sitting and going to bed/crate on demand. Would highly recommend sessions with eq k9 training! He put us on the right path.

Great dog trainer - understanding dogs (and their human’s behaviour) very well. So far has helped us to train our puppy with the basic commands, walking on a lead, managing puppy tantrums and to leave food alone.

Brilliant dog training service. Had 3 sessions with Stephen and it’s been really beneficial for the whole family. Stephen is of cause amazing with dogs and although we might never be like that it has been really motivating and fun. What a great three weeks of puppy training we have had! We have learnt so much and have loved enjoying seeing Elvis progress in his training. Majed came with lots and lots of treats our puppy loved him. An amazing quality service! We have two German Shepherds and they have progressed amazingly!! The ability to be part of a group and have ongoing support is also great!! Majed doesn’t just work with the dogs, he works with the owners too and really showed us how to be our best to get their best!! Majed is very patient and an absolute natural with them!! I have had a couple of sessions with Stephen at EQ K9 training and am already starting to see great results and changes with my puppy. He has a great level of understanding about canines and understands that its not just the dog that needs to be trained but the owners also need to be equipped with the right knowledge to succeed in training. I contacted EQ k9 training and spoke to Majed who was very helpful and patient with me and my dog I highly recommend EQ k9 training, before training my dog was aggressive towards other dogs . Bruno is a 2 year old rescue dog he now listens and understands my commands and isn’t aggressive with other dogs he is very well behaved inside and outside.my dog Bruno is so much better behaved since training I give 5 stars to this company.lastly well worth the money to train my dog brilliant company im happy to have them in my area they are very responsive you can call any time of the day always got back to me. EQ K9 Training Review We are absolutely delighted with the outcome of the Basic Obedience training that we have just completed with Majed with marked improvement apparent even after the first session. We had been struggling with aspects of our 8 month old puppy’s behaviour, particularly on walks e.g. pulling on the lead and poor recall. Majed has exceptional insight into canine behaviour and a calm, professional approach which has helped us to understand the cause of our problems how to manage and control situations better. We booked the training sessions with Steve through EQ K9 for our Romanian rescue puppy Bonnie. We’d had Bonnie for 2 months and she had a number of issues including aggression towards people and other dogs. Instead of settling down, these issues were increasing the longer she was with us. From the moment we first met Steve he put us and Bonnie at ease and immediately started working with us, teaching us the tools to work with Bonnie and to recognise what and why her triggers occurred. We’ve had 5 sessions and there has not just been a huge improvement with Bonnies behaviour, but also how we manage her and the situations we are in. We are now so much better equipped as dog owners and have the confidence to deal with all situations, including even her dominance of our older dog Oscar. Our sessions with Steve has allowed us to see the signs/ symptoms Bonnie exhibited are natural, everything she does is for her survival but it’s how we react or manage her that is key to her development and training. Before we met Steve Bonnie would bark, growl, snarl and snap at anyone we came into contact with including other dogs. She would bark incessantly if she heard a noise or if anyone came to the house. We can now walk past people in the streets, invite people into the house, manage her barking and she is able to meet other dogs both on and off the lead. We cannot recommend or thank Steve enough! The investment into Bonnies training has been invaluable and worth every penny.. thank you so much Steve.

I have just completed the puppy training course and the difference in my Shih Tzu puppy is amazing. They talk you through how to get the best out of your puppy, how to set boundaries and train your puppy to do the essentials to stay safe and happy. You get expert 1-2-1 tuition and they will trouble shoot any problems on with ongoing support. I am so grateful I found EQK9.
