We hired Roland to help us with our Swiss Shepherd Puppy. He came and did a house visit quite early on and gave us a plenty of good advice and helped a lot with settle training. We then followed up with recall and loose lead lessons and a lot of what we learnt during these sessions was also really helpful and made us much more confident with walking the dog. We'd happily recommend Roland to anyone and would definitely go back to him in the future with any new problems. I'm sure the dog would be happy to see him if nothing else!

Roland is amazing! I had a session with him and my GSD when she was young due to reactivity towards people from a young age. I took everything he taught me away and my girl is over 2 now and my goodness what a difference! She’s never going to be 100% trusting of strangers but before she would react from far away, Now we can walk past people without her reacting all by using the techniques Roland gave me! It started improving quite rapidly and just kept on reinforcing it. I always recommend them if I meet people that need help with training! 😀

We used Roland when our German Shepherd was a young puppy and he genuinely has made a huge difference, both for us and the dog. He is extremely knowledgeable and his advice is specific and spot on. Roland is always happy to help with follow-up questions and advice and it is very clear that he really cares about the dogs and ensuring they have the best possible training, home set up, food etc. As novice dog owners, Roland gave us a clear idea of what to work on with our puppy (and more importantly, how to do it). We always mention Roland when talking to other dog owners and would not hesitate to recommend him. A really nice person and a solid dog trainer!

Roland provided some puppy training a few weeks ago to me and my chihuahua puppy. Before the training, I struggled to encourage my dog to walk outside, and Roland was able to pick up from his body language that he had a fear of the staircase. By using Roland's advice and instructions, I have been able to completely change my dog's behaviour and he now follows me on the lead and runs to the staircase. Crate training has also been successful after following Roland's advice. Roland is extremely calm and patient, would definitely recommend.

Today we completed the three part program with Roland for our pup, initial puppy training, loose lead and today a recall session in the park. I wouldn’t know where to start to explain how useful it was and how beneficial it’s been. As first time puppy owners we’d read the books, the forums etc but if anything all the conflicting information just made us more confused than ever. Roland just simplified everything and gave us the confidence to believe we could do it and without his help even with the best intentions we would have got it so wrong and made our puppy parenthood so much harder than it needs to be. I would thoroughly recommend you get in touch if you’re inexperienced with dog ownership, it’s been such a great investment.

As first time puppy owners, we were pretty clueless about how to train and manage our energetic new pup. Roland came to the rescue early on and gave us amazing insight into what would help Rio feel most comfortable and settled, and restore some order in our home as well as allowing us to enjoy our time with Rio to the max. The tips worked very well, and we have had hardly any issues since. Whenever we have had any queries, Roland has been on hand to assist. We had been having some problems with recall with our 14 month old dog and lost our confidence with letting him off lead. We met Roland for a training session at a local park, He really helped us to understand our dog and his behaviours. Our dogs been enjoying off lead walks every day since. would highly recommend.

Roland came over to our house for a one-to-one session with our then 12 week old puppy. He checked the surroundings to make sure our puppy’s crate was in the right place and assessed how much space we should give him and how much he needs. Roland is a lovely guy, very amiable and so easy to talk to. We felt comfortable asking him all sorts of questions, and he patiently replied to all of our queries. He gave us wonderful advice, brilliant tips and made us all so much confident with our puppy. He was also very easy to book an appointment with as his communication is great. We liked him and his training methods so much we have also booked a session to teach our puppy recall! I highly recommend H&H and Roland, as they’re delightful to talk to and extremely helpful!

It's important to know that your dog is going to have the best training and I have no hesitation in recommending H & H for this reason. I have had dogs all my life and know a bit about them. Roland helped me to calm my energetic GSD (Alsatian). Two sessions of 2 hours really helped make my boy a happy and responsive dog. Roland is calm, Knowledgeable and kind. We are first time dog owners and we were really struggling with our 8 week old Yorkie. We had two sessions with Roland and he helped us immensely. Its a bit of shame that couldnt book Roland sooner for puppy lesson, as he could give us more strict start. But even with later lesson he gave really good ideas and understanding, how to fix current mistakes and the best way to do it. How to use crate for our advantage and that its important quality not the quantity. I used to have dogs, but really needed someone like Roland to assist now and set my family to right direction making our puppy happy. We became more confident with puppy and how to train it and behave with it. Although was nice to surprise him with puppy in the drawer thing!😄 Roland itself was really friendly and nice to communicate, i understand he has to sometimes tell what to do and its perfectly ok and im glad his wasnt afraid to tell anything, after all, puppy is most important and if we need to change something to make him happy - thats ok. But some behaviorists dont tell some things worrying that their suggestions wont be accepted, which cause more confusion. Will be using services in the future, thank you!👍🏻

Roland at H&H has been incredible. He has helped train us, not so much the puppy, which is the key to a successful owner. We’ve worked on off leash walking (at the age of 10 weeks) and he has helped instil an enormous amount of confidence. I would recommend his services without hesitation!

We approached Roland before bringing home our puppy as we felt it was important to start straight away. He came round the next day even though a bank holiday weekend and worked with us all to establish proper practices for him in his new home. Roland came to our house last night for a 1 to 1 training session with our 9 week and 5 days old Siberian husky puppy Ghost. We deciced to contact Roland as we had been told that huskies are notorious for being stubborn in regards to training and recall. He checked the surroundings to make sure his crate and food were all in the right place, he even checked his toys were good enough! He was amazing with our puppy, and he really spent the time with my partner and I to understand the reasoning behind the positive training. I couldn’t believe just after 1 session, the difference in ghost and our routine within the house. He slept from 10pm Untill 7am this morning which is the first time sleeping through since we got him. We were used to waking up numerous times in the night to let him eliminate. His biting has also calmed down drastically! We cannot recommend Roland enough... he was absolutely fantastic and really spent the time explaining everything to us. Thanks again for everything! Thank You Roland for all your support and advice, not just during our 1:1 puppy training last night but also the advice over the phone. It was a really positive experience for us all. After you left we were saying how much more confident we feel with our little puppy Leo. You’ll be pleased to know I stuck with your guidance on crate training him and he made it through the whole night in his crate. He cried, which seemed like forever to me at the beginning, but each time I took him out to the garden and then quietly put him back in his crate he cried less and less, to the point where this morning he literally only whimpered for a few minutes and then fell asleep.
