S. B.Great training course with Martina, equipping us for all the basics on how to communicate effectively with our pup Huxley, and how to avoid confusing him. Really helped my confidence after our last dog became reactive after some bad experiences with other dogs and I feel more prepared to help Huxley avoid this happening to him. Already booked in to a more advanced class for excitable puppies. Martina is so knowlegable about dogs, thier behaviour and body language.
N. S.Martina is such a calm, kind and knowledgeable presence. She is brilliant at her job - what she doesn’t know about dog behaviour isn’t worth knowing!! My pup Alba and I learnt so much in 6 lessons of puppy classes, where Martina took time to get to know each of the dogs and made sure they were all comfortable. As a bonus there are lots of super helpful materials and resources after each class to help with continuing study and practice. We have been recommending these classes to everyone we know - and we plan to go back for more classes soon.

We went with our puppy, Max, to the Foundation puppy class as well as the Fun Agility one and both were great. For both classes, Martina managed to to know every single the dog in her class and she gave us all very valuable advice.
The most important things we achieved was to really bond with our puppy, we started to learn his "language" and because the classes were really fun for the dogs (especially the agility one) we, as humans, learned how to keep our dog more focused on us than the rest of the dogs.
Also, something that we found incredibly helpful are Martina's notes that she sent after each session. We found ourselves going back to them quite often.

S. E.My pup Peggy and I attended a course of Martina's puppy classes this summer and we (both!) absolutely loved them. Martina's knowledge is incredible and she takes the time to get to know each of the dogs in her class - she is patient and understanding of them and their unique needs and answered so many questions that we had since taking on Peggy, who is a high energy and highly anxious rescue puppy from Spain and not the easiest of dogs to train! Martina even sends over really helpful notes after each session and gave us lots of personalised advice for how to help Peggy get braver out and about on walks, which has helped LOADS.

H. L.Martina truly changed our quality of life with our brand new puppy. It was both of our first time - she gave us a grounded place to come each week where our pup felt safe and excited. Our new rescue dog, Ruby, is reactive to other dogs, bikes, some people, ecc. so we decided to start a course in order to learn how to help her and improve our life and Ruby's life. Martina guided us across different exercises and activities, teaching us how to understand her body language, her eyes, her energy. She gave us loads of advice, links and useful resources that have changed our life and Ruby's life. She is now calmer because we are practicing everyday what Martina taught us. There is not magical wand or spell, but confidence and practise and the proper guidance are the key to success.
Martina is so caring and loving with dogs and people. She is calm and confident and she knows what she is doing. Is all about positive reinforcement and good experiences. Make your dog happy and they will learn, and also humans will do.
Also Ruby loves her, and we always trust in our dog opinion about someone.

C. F.Martina led our beginner agility training class and I could not recommend her more. As Bella is a reactive dog she always ensured Bella had space and ensured that she was still able to take part with all the other dogs. The classes had behavioural focuses as well which really benefited Bella. Since these classes, Bella has improved massively since when we adopted her. She can be around dogs and even tried to initiate play. All of this was thanks to Martina and her patience and dedication. We have signed up to another class of hers and looking forward to seeing even more improvements.

She was very good at the training and trouble-shooting when things were going wrong, but she was also very good at throwing in some behavioural training tips while we were going too. She was lovely with all the dogs on the course, and generous with her time too.

It was very useful to learn strategies to use with an overexcitable dog, and we can already see the benefits. As anyone with a reactive/overexcitable dog knows, it can be so stressful. It was really helpful to chat with others about their experiences and we now feel much more confident managing the environment around us which leads to a much happier and calmer pup and human!
J. B.We took our gorgeous but nervous 2 year old Collie / Lab cross, Daisy, to Martina's Agility for Beginners class. Wow! What a fantastic time we had!! I cannot praise Martina enough for the extremely high quality training we received. She has a such a gentle, encouraging way with both the dogs and their owners! She always thinks about the dogs' needs first and always promotes a positive approach, being concerned not to ask too much too soon for fear of making them nervous. Once a dog shows confidence and ability in a certain skill, she moves the dog on - but only when they are ready so she teaches at different levels in the one class so as to move each dog on so they can reach their potential.
Martina sent very detailed notes after each class which were a really helpful reminder of what we had covered in class so we could continue practising at home. I was amazed at how much detail and hard work went into these notes which included very useful links to dog training and behaviour sites. Martina included a variety of skills and behaviour techniques that went far beyond just agility which were a marvellous bonus. The amount of teaching we received both directly and through Martina's emails and links were extensive and thorough.
We can't wait to enrol on another of Martina's courses - I wish we could receive her training every week of the year! Our dog developed her confidence, abilities and skills and responded well to Martina's thoughtful, caring approach. Well done Martina and thank you soooo much for all your care, attention and love to our dog. Your love for all dogs and commitment to their physical, emotional and mental well-being came shining through!
A. E.Martina is an incredibly knowledgeable dog trainer. My dog Trudy and I did her beginner's agility course in Hackney Marshes and it was an amazing experience! We always went at the dog's pace, ensured they enjoyed every second of it. Martina also included little lessons throughout sessions such as 'Drop' or 'Leave it', which were very helpful methods for our day-to-day with Trudy. After every session, she sent out additional training notes and videos, which were so interesting. I've already booked another course with her, and I highly recommend her as a dog trainer.

A. N.We had two one-on-one training sessions with Martina over Zoom during lockdown, through Friendly Creatures, and we'd recommend her in a heart beat. Our young dog developed some reactivity issues after an injury a few months ago, but two sessions with Martina has already made such a huge difference - our walks are already much calmer, as my husband and I have a better understanding of what's going on in our dog's head. Martina explains things in a really clear and friendly way, and I don't think being on Zoom hindered the training at all. She's also just a lovely person who clearly really loves and understands dogs, and we're really glad we got to work with her :)

M. N.Martina is a really really lovely person, and very knowledgeable, with a compassionate approach to puppy training. Each week builds on the last with various degrees of difficulty for our pup Marsha, who was unfortunately very distracted at the venue. Sadly she was Ill with a tummy bug for 3 of the sessions, so I think we didn’t get perhaps as much out of the sessions as if she had been well and able to attend the whole course. However Martina sends very thorough notes and videos to work on later. Some of the training seems very easy and has already proven invaluable, but some others need lots of practice to get right, so you need patience. We were attending in the winter, and it was bitterly cold, so dress up as warm as you can, because there is a lot of standing around. This course must be a pure joy to attend in the summer!

After each class Martina followed up with every session via email to include notes. Super good esp for forgetful parents like ourselves. Martina was super helpful even when we queried about our dog’s behaviour, you can tell she has a natural love for dogs. The session was sooo helpful as it goes through distraction techniques, life saving techniques e.g dropping at random times and even understanding body language. We’re already looking to book the reactive classes again and only if it’s with our wonderful Martina. Highly recommended!!

A. S.We started puppy training classes back in lockdown over Zoom and were so taken with Martina - her knowledge and positive ethos - that we booked a 121 class with her. She didn’t disappoint and gave us some excellent tools to help our cockapoo Womble feel safe and confident in his outside environment.
We followed-up with improver classes to help Womble train among other dogs and it’s been so valuable. Money well spent, Martina equips you with the right tools to practice at home and outside. Womble is on his way to becoming a calm mannered dog - plus he absolutely loves Martina!
We will no doubt book onto the Reactive classes too as you can never be taught too much. Thanks for everything so far Martina!

L. H.Martina was so patient during our group sessions and very attuned to each dog’s individual needs. For each exercise we worked on, there were simpler/harder versions which meant that wherever our pup was at, we felt we were seeing progress and didn’t feel demotivated. Her advice was tailored and practical and we’ve found that by practicing the exercises she taught us at home too, our mini schnauzer made real progress over the 6 weeks course.

s. p.Martina is a dog whisperer as far as we are concerned - her natural empathy , understanding and love for dogs and their behaviour is palpable and she has an instant calming effect on puppies - she has remarkable skills and you could be nothing but a happy owner and happy pup after a session with Marti.
We spent an evening With Marti, with our Doberman pup who was going through a mega difficult period and he melted into a state of calm within 15 minutes . . .
Most importantly, she taught us how to be better parents to the dog - to be honest we really need as much training as the dogs do
Marti is thoroughly & completely recommended : you and your dog cannot fail to thrive under her guidance and support.

C. J.Martina’s level of service was outstanding! She remembered every dogs key personality traits, and responded to them in each class. Our puppy got a bit distracted and she made sure we always had a barrier to help him deal with all the stimulation and also helped us understand his body language during the training.
She explained all the exercises to us so clearly and always followed up with detailed notes via email to help us practice at home.
I will miss learning from her and am so grateful she gave us and our puppy such a safe space to learn. I am so grateful for all the tips she gave us, both general in terms of training but also the individual pointers on our puppy to respond to his particular anxieties. Martina è un addestratrice eccezionale! Grazie al suo aiuto a distanza,il mio cane, una femmina di 4 anni, molto anarchica, sta imparando a rapportarsi con me e con il mondo, in maniera naturale. Non è facile dare i giusti input e consigli, senza avere il cane fisicamente presente, e ho sempre dato per scontato che fosse un cane “irrecuperabile”. Per Martina non lo è, ed ogni volta che le chiedo aiuto, la sua disponibilità e preparazione,mi fanno dimenticare tutti i pregiudizi accumulati. Riesce a trasmettere tranquillità, a spiegare con precisione ogni singolo passaggio da applicare con il cane e soprattutto, nonostante la distanza, riesce ad essere empatica a tal punto da rendere possibile un cambiamento totalmente inaspettato .
